I just wanted to make a topic dedicated to this series. <3 I find it the best season. I find the first season to be not that good, like with the Squirtle gang, and the leader with the sunglasses, as well as Ash giving all his Pokemon away, basically. In the later series, he's annoyingly strong. Y-Y Though I very much like Tucker and Harley.

But yus, back to the Orange Islands. Sissy was pretty cool, as well as Drake. I loved the Gym Leader with his dancing Pokemon. XD

I havent watched much of the anime as a whole, but I do remember thinking first that the orange islands were a particularly good part of the anime, and also years ago I designed and invented 100 new pokemon as well as items etc so that an expansion pack for red blue yellow about the orange islands could be made... i lost it and never sent it off, but orange islands were sick..as for ash and his adventures, it would have been better if they had bumped him off similarly to the robot chicken sketch, and just had someone who evolves his pokemon, and trains them properly, without keeping thundershock on what must be at least a lvl 80 pikachu...

Yeah, I do wish they didn't use Ash so much.... I'm really glad that May and Dawn took over for awhile, but.... eh, they just do contests. No true on battling. :|

Shame, shame! You must find them somehow, they're really good. ^___^ The Gyms aren't normal, either. You have to do events, of a sort, to beat the Gym, like race-surfing, climbing, and such. And your Pokemon have to be used a certain way. Then you fight Drake at the end! His Dragonite pwns.

And I'd really like to see more of the islands pulled in, besides Shamouti (where the Legendary Bird movie took place). I really like Moro Islands (I think they had one episode with that). But there are tons. Just go on wikipedia.org, and look up Orange Islands. Its got a pretty big list.

yeah, I had it all figured out how it would work too and you could keep your pokes from the kanto game into the orange island game so you'd have surf right away and stuff, but could only load in your game once until you'd start over then you could reload your pokes, okay so you play thru your r/b/g/y/w game then plug it into a special adaptor to download all your pokes into boxes and whats in your party all into boxes then take your highest level poke with surf and put it into your party, then plug in your orange islands pack into the adaptor and it downloads your file into that, then it's like a normal game, it'd work like palpark except you wouldn't lose it off the other game, then it would be trade compatible, or maybe setting your surf poke to it's highest evo it can have at level fifty, and only giving you that, and it could work the same for fr/lg but they probably shut down the factories that made those games now and we'll never see anything for them again...it could work for p/d and gsds too I guess...but not as good

it would be a really good idea to make it into a game. since there are challenges before every gym battle, the ds's touch screen could be used. i hated how the touch screen wasnt taken advantage of in d/p. but transfering pokemon from kanto and then fighting more gym leaders would be too much of a hassle for nintendo to even try.

what they need to do, is to make it o that you can transfer all you pokemon at once from aa diamond or pearl game into the new one. Or a make it like an expansion pack, with really high level gym leaders... I still think the idea of a pokemon world game would be best, one incorporating all the different regions, and then the ones like the orange islands as well... mix in mystery dungeon ideas so you can go and fight certain pokemon and whatnot...

I love the idea of a higher leveled leaders. Maybe throw is some 1337 ace trainers in there with actual strategy and more than 3 underleveled first tiered pokemon

It was the best. Team Rocket dominated with 5 Total Pokemon that were fully evolved (minus Meowth), and Tracey was there, and he had a Venonat. And Misty used her Staryu a lot. And Ash caught Snorlax.

Wow, it actually was the best looking back.

definitely, glad to know someone else understanhds the horrors, im getting a bit bored after 550+ hours of gameplay. they need to extend the game!
