I vote for Lugia. I just like how he is flying pokemon when he does not fly... But he should be a water type instead.

true. maybe all of lugias flying abilities (that we rarely see) stems from its psychic powers.
i still say Ho-oh though.

Lugia just seems more like a water type than a flying..... But other than that, Ho-oh is alright to. I bought heartgold instead of soul silver, so I can see how Ho-oh is a good pokemon. he/she is better than i thought.

Lugia's better coz if you put Ho-Oh and Lugia in a battle,Lugia knows Hydro Pump and Ho-Oh it's weak against any water type move.Therefore Lugia is better than Ho-Oh.

I chose Ho-oh because I think its cooler looking. In addition I don't like how Lugia lives in the ocean (and probably learns more water moves than flying moves although I have not checked the moveset so I'm not sure) but is flyikng trype instead of water it doesn't make sense

I go for Ho-oh. Lugia knows hydro-pump, but it is not a water type. therefore it wont be very effective.

I loved Lugia so much when I was a kid... But I grew up liking Ho-oh more. :P

Tough choice; Lugia and Ho-oh are my two favorite legendaries. BUT, if I HAD to pick one, it'd be Ho-oh. Lugia is more fun to draw, and has a pretty song in Pokemon 2000, but Ho-oh is a phoenix (plus it's got pretty colors). That clinches it.

I've always loved Lugia more. I really love Psychic types, and it looks like a diving bird-dragon. It always seemed to me that this was the Pokemon with the most types applied to it, even if they couldn't actually implement it. (Psychic/Dragon/Water/Flying) Also, I always wished it could breed so that I could get the baby Lugia from the cartoon. I love it's colors and the fact that it seems like a more gentle-natured Pokemon.
