Everybody excited for the design contest? We haven't had one in a long time! Yes! I love events. In other news: Was hoping to see shooting stars last night. It was predicted there'd be a lot of them. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn't see a thing. On the other hand, I had a perfect view of the blood moon a couple of weeks ago, so it's not all bad! -------------------- |

I tried taking pictures of the blood moon, but my phone camera refused to show it clearly...same with the last blood moon forever ago.
And the "blue" moon we had, only for some reason that one didn't even show up at all. When I took pictures, everything was just dark and black. Really disappointing. -------------------- |

Crazy how time flies. @AregularFrankiefan: I know the feeling of not being able to get pictures of something. It's frustrating, but you did get to see a cool natural phenomenon! I don't know about a blue moon? Was this when the moon was quite close? -------------------- |

My dad told me and my sister about those so we went to the beach to look at them. Only saw maybe like one really good meteorite and I feel like I imagined the rest. -------------------- |

Sucks that the honey was on all the days I work. I was dead to the world for the most part. =(
And do they still do the scavenger hunt on the 15th through the rest of the month? That was always my way of getting prize points. -------------------- |

I'll be getting as much as I can since I spent all of mine. @_@; I can never get ahead on those haha...I wish that the battle subway rewards them too rather than only the VS Seeker and that costs like half a million regular points to potentially win 2 prize points. :/ -------------------- |

Was this when the moon was quite close? Sort of! It's when more than one full moon appears in the same month; it'll be a little bit closer to Earth then. Last happened in March. -------------------- |

Omg I think I finished my first concept for the contest. @_@;;;
I'm kinda sad, but I was so into it that I got it done pretty fast. Not super artistic so I kinda just put together stuff and hopefully get the idea across well enough. @_@:;; Speaking of weather phenomena --- I saw the perfect blood moon a couple years ago, watched the nearly perfect eclipse last year. Meteor showers is impossible in this part of the country since they happen during the peak of tornado season meaning it's always gonna be cloudy. When I was super super young eons ago I recall witnessing a freaking crazy super moon. It literally swallowed up the entire horizon. I thought the Earth was crashing into the moon, it was that huge. Sigh no multiplier today. :[ Aaaaaaand electric hunt. This post has been edited by Natsume Reiko: Aug 13 2018, 11:38 PM -------------------- |

Hopefully I can get something hatched in time for this week's Poke Hunt, it seems like it'll be another long stretch of non-Multiplier days.
I haven't even started on my contest entry, because now I'm thinking it's unoriginal and uninspired. But I have literally no other ideas. -------------------- |

Well I made a design for the contest thingy but it kinda looks like a shoddy child's job whenever I look at it. I used to be pretty good at spriting but it seems I've lost some of my edge. Just couldn't quite get my design from my head onto the screen.
Regardless, I'll submit what I have, or maybe edit my idea or come up with something new. -------------------- |

I just sent mine in. Early entry would definitely make sure that I don't have to worry about forgetting and procrastinating. XD.
Wish I had skillz but nope art is not my forte. Nick (Zerxer) better have some freaking awesome multiplier thinger or something. That'd be nice. -------------------- |

It's usually their age idk how old Zerx is, probably late 20s or early 30s so either we'll get a 2.something or a 3.something -------------------- |

Chesto'd the scythe bug.
I hope everyone's been sleeping well. I'm needing to change my waking hours before the 20th since I have a class at 11:45. Yesterday I was able to wake up at 7 AM but today I tried the same thing and lacked the discipline to stay awake. I'll try again tomorrow. I think I need to go to bed earlier, but it's tricky because my medicine doesn't make me feel sleepy until 1 or 2 hours later. -------------------- Avatar by Cycloneblaze at Cycloneshop II Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/eevee64 Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/Baymax |

Even if I try to go to bed early, I have really bad insomnia so I'm awake and just staring at the ceiling until 2am in the morning no matter what I do. Plus I'm not a morning person so that doesn't help matters either haha. I hate relying on sleep pills just to force me to sleep and wake up to a certain schedule, but I got no choice. The world doesn't revolve around my screwed up body. At one point in my life it was so bad I only could sleep 2 hours a night because my body refused to conform to any sort of proper sleep schedule and my work day started super early and ended really late. I would have to pull 12+ hour shifts sometimes while running on nothing but 2 hours. -------------------- |

Oh sheesh, NR.
I know someone who also has insomnia. They find that a certain herb works well for them. I know I can't function on just 2 hours of sleep, I've been able to do a week of four hours a night, but then it all catches up to me. -------------------- Avatar by Cycloneblaze at Cycloneshop II Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/eevee64 Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/Baymax |
