Salamance is a better pokemon, however Flygon is just cooler through visual appearance

I think Salamence looks cooler than Flygon myself, with the exception of third generation. Flygon's gained weight on every non-RSEFRLG game.

I like them both, but I have to say, I like Salamence quite a bit more.

Salamence is a Pseudo-Legendary, so Salamence, hands down.

Flygon. I used to dislike it at first, but since having it on my Emerald team, I love it to pieces~ I like it's design better than Salamence.
... I hate Salamence, actually. My Salamence is one of my favorite pkmns, and i spent quite a while in his breeding and training...took me quite a bit for it to breed with the attacks, gender, personality that I wanted. So yeah i do prefer Salamence. However flygon aint that bad either Im considering to keep him on my Platinum party.

FLYGON FTW! I love Flygon! Ever since I like destroyed the Mosdeep gym with only my Flygon, it was an epic battle, I have fallen in love with this pokemon. I also love how Flygon has the ground attribute, so electric attacks can't harm it.
Salamence does have pure strength but it basically gets KO'ed with electric attacks. --------------------        Art (click to show) |
