I dunno why theres no FAQ...it seems like the thing I'm about to ask are things that every noob is going to ask...
Anyway, I have a male winter vulpix and a female regular vulpix in the daycare. It says something like they seem to be friendly or whatever. Now, will they breed? Aprox. how long does it take to have the eggs appear? Also, is there a chance I'll get another winter vulpix? Thanks. Just confused on how the breeding thing works. This has prolly been asked before, but I really can't find it when I search. Like I said, there should be some kind of FAQ on this :/ -------------------- |

I believe the script that creates eggs is run once an hour, and something about how close the pokemon are, combined with rarity and possibly how many eggs are in the shelter already decides on whether or not you get a batch of eggs.
You can get both species if the parents are different, and that includes breedable novelties. Novelties are much more rare in the daycare, however, so if you don't get a Winter Vulpix in the next... I don't know, week, don't be too surprised. |

POkemon have a chance to breed every hour.
Depending on how compatible the pokemon are to one another affects the chances of them breeding. The happier they are the higher the chance -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. But shouldn't it also be on the forums? When I go to a forum about questions, thats where I'd expect to see that haha. Usually on sites that say "help" its like "how duz I type mah name" and stupid things like that. I never even thought to click it. Thank you! - and thank you everybody else too :] This post has been edited by Oisterboy: Jul 17 2010, 08:09 AM -------------------- |

Here is some breeding info too:
http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=8936 I don't think it matters where the FAQs are placed, people are still going to bypass them and we'll just have more links to post to put them on track. The FAQs are for the site, therefore I think the FAQs being on the site is probably a good place for them to be. -------------------- |

I agree that its a good place for them to be, but seeing as this is a help forum, maybe a simple copy-paste-sticky would help stop threads like mine - I honestly looked for one here :] But anyways, thanks for the info guys! -------------------- |

The thread which you were linked to ^ ("Important Breeding Notes") *is* a sticky thread found under GPX Discussion. |
