What is a wi-fi mystery gift event? |

What is it? Also, how do you activate mystery gifts in pearl or diamond? And how do you participate in a wi-fi mystery gift event?

First off, try not to double post.
Second, a Wi-Fi Mystery Gift event happens for a number of days at certain times of the year. I know that it mostly happens in Japan, but, I think it also happens in America. Not 100% sure. When it happens certain items/ Pokemon can be obtained over Mystery Gift Wi-Fi. Like the key items to change Rotom into its other five forms, or to change Shaymain into sky form. Wi-Fi Events also happen for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers too, in which you can do special missions. I think they can. I know special Pokemon Nintendo events happen worldwide- I haven't heard of a worldwide Wi-Fi event yet.
