Its addictive because u want to get the new animals and addons to ur farm, but it takes so long. SOmetimes i never eat for weeks because i dont feel like fishing, and all i do is water the crops/feed animals and sleep until i have to do it again. haha

I do like some Harvest Moon games, but they take patience to get into.

^^ Ugh I quit playing that like 3 hours into it. The town was confusing and the stamina system was horrible. IMO
I would be 2 steps away from house and die from exaustion..then my plants die, and i lose all my money from mining and stuff.

Yeah...I used play this...
I remember playing it for about 8 hours straight when I first got it (HM:IoH). But as time passed by it became extremely boring... I love Harvest Moon games. Currently I'm playing Tree of Tranquility over again. (Last summer I got to my third year, but stopped because of school and lack of play time, and didn't want to continue a game where I couldn't remember my own objectives.) While they can be a bit repetitive, the fact that they provide so many choices allows for a lot of replay value in my opinion. For instance, date a different character and get goats instead of sheep, etc.
Boring? Not really, for some people at least (like me.) The only time I've been bored with a HM game is when I cheated on Another Wonderful Life to get all the items. I was bored on day 3... Addictive? Unfortunately. -------------------- [align=center]

I have spent numerous hours on Harvest moon. I have played "Friends of Mineral Town" and "Tree of Tranquillity". But its really the same story every time. Plant, grow, harvest, find love and have a baby. I usually give up after a while, as its very repetitive.

I love Harvest Moon, but I can understand how some would find it boring. I myself rarely ever make it past my first year before I get bored with it and just stop playing for a while. And then I pick it up months later, only for me to start the game over from the beginning.xD But it's still fun when you're in the mood to play it.

I've been a Harvest Moon fan since the original game for the SNES. (Used to have it, God knows where it ran off to.. Shame, because buying a new one would cost me over $100. Pfft.)
I can see how some would find it boring.. But for me, though it gets repetitive, I love the casual concept. Rather than button smashing pewpew games, you get the chance to slow down and take your time. Plus the characters and animals are just adorable. Currently playing DS Cute and Animal Parade. (Though I prefer handheld to console.. Loading screens are so obnoxious.) --------------------  Yeah, I'm addicted. So what? Best. Show. Ever.  Pikachu wants you to visit my party. I love this game. I remember buying an Nintendo 64 because I wanted to play this game after seeing it in a magazine. I am currently playing tree of tranquility for Wii and bought Animal Parade but have not started it yet.
