So June is (Sexuality) Pride month and if you are willing to share your sexuality, I figure this is a great place to do that (even if you're straight, feel free to say so (even though pride month is for LGBTQIA+) Your sexuality is just as valid as everyone elses'!) So if you wanna give a bit about your sexuality and what it means for you to be that sexuality, then here's the starting point! This can also be a way for people to learn different sexualities too (bc not everyone is sure what they identify as yet)

Anyway, I am part of the ace/aro spectrum. I am neither sexually attracted to people (asexual) nor am I physically/emotionally attracted to people, regardless of gender (aromantic) Personally I am sex-repulsed, but I do not have an issue with porn stuff (though I'd rather keep it at a fictional capacity) and I have next to no sex drive at all (beyond popular belief, ace people can have urges, but for many cases its rare to have)

True story, but I didn't know what ace/aro even was until I hit middle school age (so 6-7th grade I believe) thanks to an online friend giving me the details. All my life I had no desire to date, I didn't have crushes, nor did I find people attractive in any way (I didn't/don't like it when people ask me stuff like "do you think this dress is pretty on me?" or "isn't this outfit/accessory cute?!" bc I literally cannot give you an opinion XD Its a bit of a curse actually lol) and I have been adamant about being single my whole life due to these factors. While I was never jealous of my family and friends dating people, I didn't understand why I didn't want to do it myself, but luckily that changed early on enough for me

Being ace definitely has its struggles, but luckily for me I haven't really personally been a target for ridicule or had people give me the usual spiel of "its a phase" or "you just haven't found the right person yet" etc stuff that can be irksome (it helps that only my immediate family even knows and I have very understanding friends, both on and offline. I've mostly experienced it with my oldest sister even though she identifies as demisexual) Sadly I see acephobia all around and I have heard some pretty terrible stories, even from LGBT people, so I understand how hard it can be. I mostly get pretty upset over the lack of ace representation in the media, but my hope is that once LGBT people are more accepted in the world, then the rest of us can be treated with respect too. Baby steps are better than no steps at all, I say!

So there ya have it, my sexuality (: Being a minority is difficult and many people don't have as much support for their sexuality either, but we're all in this together and I hope one day the world will accept us all for who we are and not what they want us to be. In the grand scheme of things, you deserve to be loved <3

Every time they release new info I get so excited.

The Pokedex is adorable! It's interesting how it's gonna be like another character of sorts.

From the expression Lillie makes on her artwork makes me feel like she's gonna be one of those characters that are kind of a jerk to the main character at first (and since it says she "has devoured many books", she'll probably giving some information for the story at some point).

And it turns out that there are multiple islands (figured so since it's based on Hawaii). And an artificial island? That's sound interesting (and undoubtedly significant to the story I assume - villain team base? maybe not but *shrug*).

^And I was expecting Solgaleo to have a fire type, too.

On the other note, im not hyped at all for Pokemon Moon and Sun. So far I only like the water starter and the fire, the legends look like lost art for Noivern en Pyroar and as some have mentioned before the typing of pokemons these days dont make any sense what so ever...

Strangely enough I do still like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, though thats a whole other type of game.

I guess no one was expecting such (bad) typings, but it's not the first time that GF gives us different typings than what people were expecting based on design/descriptions. I'm more upset with the abilities, which are "new" but not really new since Clear Body and Multiscale already exist. And it seems like Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam disregards abilities. Pretty much op. I'm hoping that the Rotom Dex ends up being a new form, but I highly doubt it.

I'm also really surprised that Solgaleo isn't part fire type :\ Lunala's typing is alright though, and I've already preordered Moon so I'm happy ^^ Also intrigued to find out more about this new Pokedex feature.

Speaking of anime conventions, there's a con on here later this month which I'm looking forward to. Though this year they seemed to have really cut back on the anime voice actor guests they usually have, which is a little disappointing. Nevertheless, it will be fun to look around at all the stalls, displays and cosplays and get a heap of Streetpasses :P I can't decide if I'm going to cosplay or not this time. I don't feel like putting the time/money/effort into one or reusing one of my old ones, but I don't think I'd feel right going to a convention and not cosplaying to some degree ^^" Maybe I'll just go as a school girl of some sort, which would be pretty easy and effortless and low-key. Pretty interesting types for those legendaries. Gotta say that I'm not surprised by Lunala's, but Solgaleo's caught me off guard. Their moves are cool, too.

Everything about the game looks great to me so far. The Rotomdex is unexpected, but at this point, all I hope is that they keep things like DexNav. Please, please keep DexNav. I frankly don't give a damn about Amie or even Super Training (except for rare stones, I suppose), but I need my DexNav.

Edit: Regarding anime conventions, I've only been to one. The only things that really appeal to me about them are the artist alley areas, and otherwise, I don't care that much. I'm more of a PAX person myself, so hopefully I'll get to go some year. Too many teenagers otherwise.

Oh nice! A Rotom in the game?! Wow! I'll have to watch the trailer again, when I have free time and can turn the sound on. I didn't mind the type matches for the legendaries because it looks like they're both using the sun and moon to assist in their fighting. It's kind of cool and different. I don't mind that the sun one isn't fire; it looks like it can use the benefits of the fire (sun) though so... that's nice. Right?

I deposited my Poke Hunt entry and am not expecting anything above a 3rd place. I'd actually be surprised, if I don't find a replacement, that it'll make a 3rd place showing. IVs of 125 are pretty bad for the Poke Hunts now that we all look for higher IV levels. *blush*

In other GPX news... happy birthday to me.... my random Munna for the Hunt had hatched shiny. While it is now sentry, it is awfully pretty (imo) so I was quite pleased with its hatching. *happy dances*

Today I hope to finish this exploration step and collect my prize so that I can move on to a new exploration. I might begin DotW again. I do have a couple of plates left to forge. I don't have the Exp All to assist, but I don't want that to stop me from another possible Arceus form. So we'll see.

Alola looks nice, though count me in as one of the many confused about Solgaleo's typing. It could have at least had Fire as a secondary type, but I guess if that's what they want.

I'm also loving the new characters, like Kukui and the rival. The Rotom Pokedex looks like an interesting twist. I wonder how Mega Evolution will be handled now.

We went out to dinner last night to Chipolte. It's one of my favorite restaurants. While I kind of wanted Applebee's... after my soup or salad lunch that left me feeling ill.. I take it none of you guys have seen the deer-like Pokémon in the first trailer? I've not seen many people pick up on that.. if you stop the trailer about 12-13 seconds in and look at the lower left, there's a a boy with some deer-like Pokémon in front of him.
