I prefer Solrock. I saw it first, it looks cooler if you ask me, and it can learn Solarbeam by natural way.

I like Lunatone better, but I'm not really sure why.

I always loved lunatune because its a moon.. which comes out at night... Which means its dark.. Hence The Signature~!:)

I'm more of a Solrock kind of guy.
I had one in Ruby and I can appreciate something Sun-based. It's a shame it's not much of a psychic type, though...Lunatone beats it in that department. Solrock is a handy and versatile rock type, in my opinion. --------------------  |

I like Lunatone more. The reason is that I like how it looks like a moon, but I have to say that I like both Lunatone and Solrock.

Hard choice, they where wonderful in a cheap deck I formed for a tournament and ended up winning
The deck involved Regigigas Lv. X and it was just so much win for a cheap deck. I guess If I had to choose i'd choose Lunatone --------------------     |

Appearance wise I prefer the moon, always been a moon/evening/darkness lover.
But as far as using them goes, here is what I am just now observing. I have never used Solrock so not much to say there but I am currently training my Lunatone in Sapphire because I thought it would be a strong pokemon in the Foretree gym especially being part psychic giving it a double type advantage. Maybe it is just my particular lunatone I am not sure as its my first time using it but it has super weak accuracy. Even when moves such as sand attack are not being used against it it misses a lot. It also seems to have weakish defense because Linoon's headbutt does at least a quarter damage when that move should hardly touch a rock type. I am actually on the verge of frustration with it despite its lovely moon appearance. If looks could K.O...(hehe). So I am not sure about Solrock but Lunatone seems to be a pretty weak pokemon. I am rethinking my intention to use it for the foretree gym and going with my graveler instead. |

I like both, but I think I like Solrock more. Probably because I trained a solrock to level 100 in emerald.

I prefer Lunatone.
It appeals to me more appearance-wise, and also, I prefer the moon/night as opposed to sun/day. And the shiny has BLUE eyes. |
