I need a nickname for my newborn male eevee. He's lax natured, will most likely evolve into Leafeon or Vaporeon.

I have an Umbreon named Strauss and a Pichu called Stella after the characters in the manga The Record of a Fallen Vampire.
When I get a Naive Eevee and a Bold Eevee/Growlithe of opposite genders, I'm going to call them Yuuri and Wolfram. My Shinx is Shiva-chan (after the blue lady that you can use in battle on FFXII, I think, it's been a long time...), my Budew is named Shuu-kun (Drew's Japanese name from the Pokemon anime), and my Skitty is named Baby Flower (after my cat, Flower). Sometimes my names are more random/unoriginal though. On my games I have Pichu called Can, Io, S.Leopard, and Eevee. I have Riolu call Ryo Heart, Ryo Home, Ryo Rain, Ryon Dr. Eevee called X-mas, Field, Des Tiny, Life, and Poan. I named my Dratini Martini, but I need names for my Larvitar and Omanyte.

I named my Poochyena Nyx. I remember reading somewhere that it means 'night' in some other language years ago. X3
I also love French words. I pick a random city in France or take a common word and find the translation. For example, my username. I love dark pokemon. So, I took the word black -- which in French is Noire. ^^ Also, word play is fun. I tend to type random letters and see what I get. Well, I have a very eclectic naming style for all my adoptables. Words in other languages, videogame characters, mythology...
I just got my male Zubat and named him Dhaos, after my Crobat in my Diamond version (named in turn afterthe bad guy in Tales of Phantasia ). My train of thought was Erinyes (avenging bat-demons of Greek mythology) -> Chaos -> Dhaos. --------------------     |
