I think I'm like most people. I hatch the eggs and if I like the pokemon it stays in my party until I evolve it to it's final form. Then it collects dust in my pc. =3
However once I get the same pokemon I have on my team in pearl I'll raise those six to level 100. But other than that the rest get boxed. I try to always have four pokemon to evolve and two eggs. --------------------  |

I put the pokemons that I don't really like in the box and I train the others... I try to put them in there final form or at the level 100. When I have 5 pokemon or more, I put one or two on the Pc to can hatch some eggs to complete my Dex. =)

Since I got three hatched, I threw two into the Daycare to level themselves and one into the PC until a slot in the Daycare opens up.
Offtopic: Is there a point to even leveling beyond their evolution levels? COMPLETELY offtopic: What is this "Claiming" thing everyone's doing >.O --------------------  I click Daily!  Please Feed Him Chesto Berries! The purple ones! |

It depends on the Pokemon. I'm keeping my Absol with me because I like Absol.
 Others, such as mankey and poliwag, I've boxed right away for later, when I have nothing else to do, and need to start raising Pokemon for them to evolve. And sometimes, I'll stick a Pokemon in the daycare for it to grow there, and I'll take it out when it reaches the right level to evolve. Unless it needs happiness, of course!

For the most part, I'm hatching all the eggs I want and storing the pokémon in the PC (save for Abra 'cause I looooove her and want a Kadabra). Once I'm done with the eggs, I'll switch to raising them.
