Camera on the new PokéGear? |

However, how the DSi has two in-built cameras, I think I see that the new PokéGear will have the function to take pictures by looking at the female trainer's new art. It's on her bag and if you look in the top middle part, that's what I'm talking about, it looks like a lens, don't you think?? Spoiler (click to show) Post what you think. I always thought the touch screen would be the PokeGear, they have to add in more features though. [Cause Radio only, Map, Phone and Date&Time is not enough]

I'm sure they'll probably have all the stuff from D/P, plus a load of new ones.
Coming back to the cammera, it certainly does look like one. But how would that work on the normal DS? Would you have to have two seperate versions of the game, one for the DS Lite and one for the DSi, or would you just not be able to access it on the DS Lite? --------------------  |

I'm guessing the game would be somewhat backwards-compatible. Remember how you can still play GS (but nto Crystal) on a regular gameboy? They would have stuff for the DSi people, but mostly you can still play on the old DS(L).

There's many rumours going around about DSi exclusive stuff, the most prominent of which belongs to a DSiWare Pokémon Box. It hasn't been confirmed, but it is possible that DSi exclusive stuff may be implemented. No worries though for any non-DSi Pokémon fan as GameFreak has learned to listen to their fans and they wouldn't alienate half their market for something so little. If there are DSi exclusive things, then the games should still work fine for regular DSes.

It is not a camera
I have seen a better shot of the lower screen HERE it is the Start Menu nothing more and definitely not a camera just saying there would be no reasoning for placing a camera in game because it would make just as much sense as placing an internet browser in the game This post has been edited by Zackraa: May 14 2009, 09:47 AM --------------------  |

We're not reffereing to that, we're refering to the drawing of the female character, (of which a picture can be found in the spoiler on the first post). Notice the thing that looks kinda like a camera on the Pokegear hanging from the girls bag?

I still highly doubt any use of a camera it would still in my opinion be as useful as placing a browser in the game there is absolutely no point in having a camera in game

The apps aren't neccessarily there to have a use, some of them are just there for fun. The camera might be for something like taking a picture of yourself to put on your trainer ID. Not the most amazing thing ever, but just adds a little something extra to the whole experience.
