I had this feeling once, though it was a total fail actually...
 'I jumped against the rope instead of over and just pulled the entire pole down with me due to my speed... By the way, it should be noted that my school didn't use a rope. We had a very wobbily plastic pole instead. Ha ha. Most of the time it just decided, 'Ya know what, darn it all, I'm gonna jumping too', just 'cause the wind from the jump caught it at good timing.
