hi there, I’ve checked the help page but there doesn’t seem to be a reason for this happening proof of finished task, then this message pops up: no matter what I try, I hope I’m not being stupid but thank you for your help;;

Haven't seen that before but I don't use Mobile too much. If your party has an empty slot and it's still doing that try going on the Desktop version of the site.

I'm also having this issue.. Not sure how to 'complete' the exploration since I've received my prize and hatched it already..

Open the exploration tab on the right. Click the house icon that appears in the same spot that "move to the next task" used to appear.

Completing explorations is only possible on the desktop site. The mobile site doesn't have this functionality, so you need to use the desktop site in order to complete your exploration and be able to go on another.
