My Mightyena's family history is a bit odd. His grandfather is a Typhlosion and his Great Grandfather is a Kecleon.
My Ninetails came from a long line of Eevee evolutions, seemingly up to great great great grandfather Vaporeon, which isn't unusual but kind of neat. Miltank's dad was a Vaporeon, which is goofy. My zangoose came from Zergoose and Lola bunny x3 his mother was them and no extended family. But who came before Zergoose? And then my other Zangoose is my other zangoose's great great nephew o__o

Turtwig's grandad is a Torterra and the mother is a Grotle. How strangely fitting! Oh but the great-grandmother is a Garchomp, and it's pretty much pure Water-type on the father's side... until you get to shiny Charizard. Hah, awesome.

Quite a lot of my pokemons have grandparents, as most of mine are from the shelter...

I can trace my Totodile's family about 6 generations back when choosing only the fathers. He comes from a line of Charizards, (and one charmander) then it jumps to Feraligatr and then my Totodile. =P
