So, I just got my shiny in my first shiny race ever against my friend Altara. I was wondering how long it takes before the race is cleared, or if there's something that I'm missing that we're supposed to do to clear it so I can race others?
Sorry if my question seems noobish, but like I said, it was my first race ever. > 3<;; I checked the help section and didn't see anything specific that said the aftermath of winning. --------------------  Loves!    |

I'm pretty sure the other person has to not hatch an egg of the race for 1 week. Or they keep on trying until the get the shiny. Not 100% sure though

The shiny race challenge box has this text:
Note that in challenges requiring the fewest eggs hatched, if one user hatches a shiny, and then the other doesn't hatch an egg towards the challenge for a full week, that user will automagically forfeit the challenge. Not sure if you get it when toy accept a race. If you base the race on time, the race will end for both users when the first shiny hatches. Also, not that the 1 week thingy will only be until the other person has hatched the same amount of eggs as you, the hunt will end by then. --------------------   All my stuff is viewable by everyone on my public page.
