In the Pokemon universe, approximately 17 years after the initial discovery of Mega Pokemon, Researchers in the Kalos region stumbled upon a Mega Stone for the pokemon Yvetal. Foolishly, they managed to capture one of these legendary pokemon, and used the power of the mega stone to lend this pokemon power. The resulting destruction wiped almost all life from the planet. No pokemon or human survived on the surface of the world, and many of the great cities were torn asunder, their once beautiful monuments and buildings a shadow of their former selves. Approximately two hundred years after this cataclysm, a single Celebi time travelled into the future, this future, bringing with them a seed of new life. They planted this seed, and departed from the wreckage of the old world, back into the past. It was from this new seed that life began again, grass reaching out over the soils of the world, trees gaining ground in what used to be skyscrapers, vines clinging delicately to old machinery that was once of use.

Meanwhile, deep underground, in a military bunker, All of the non-legendary full evolution pokemon were being held in secure pokeballs, in case of a disaster such as this one. They had remained in a dormant state for well over a thousand years, until one day the backup generator for the facility finally gave out. The resulting power surge caused havoc on the pokeballs that contained these pokemon, releasing some of the pokemon from their pokeballs, and locking others down tight within them. These newly awakened pokemon have no memory of their imprisonment or of the terrible event that took place centuries ago. They were met with unfamiliar surroundings, in a damp underground ruined facility, with no way of knowing the way out.

These pokemon must now locate an exit, and repopulate the world above them, finding out what caused their suffering so long ago. But be warned, some pokemon in these pokeballs are less than friendly. Powerful, older pokemon can be dangerous, and younger, weaker pokemon can be preyed upon. Will these pokemon work together and thrive, or tear each other apart?

Name: Dirge

Species: Cacturne

Appearance: A rather large Cacturne, this massive ghostly cactus features a startling abundance of spikes. Overall they're a bit lanky as well, and seem a hue darker than the standard Cacturne, though this is not easily noted. In addition, their spikes seem a little bit thinner, to fit in a little more spikes along their sides.

Personality: In a word, Cynical. This Cacturne, despite it's terrifying appearance and obvious power, doesn't really have much faith in anything, really. He's not very confident in his, or anyone else for that matter's ability to fight, and fight well. He's usually mumbling about how quickly something or other is going to go wrong, or how dull their current situation is, or something else. He really doesn't discriminate in what he mumbles about really. However, on the flipside, he can be utterly terrifying if you get on his bad side. You don't want to get on his bad side.

Name: Benjamin

Species: Bronzong

Appearance: This ancient Bronzong is incredibly old, and it really shows. A crack echoes up it's front, going clean between it's eyes as it climbs the Bronzong's figure. Their arms seem to sway as it floats, and it should be noted that it's incredibly cold to the touch.

Personality: This Bronzong is old and wise, but at the same time... Not very bright. They really don't seem to know how things work in the real world, everything based off of calculations in their head. If something doesn't work right, or seems slightly off, they become confused, and somewhat irritated. They'll insist that they attempt again in the exact same way, sure their calculations were exact. They often forget about gravity for some reason, and seem confused when other pokemon don't.

Name: Sophie

Species: Audino

Appearance: Let's be honest here, this Audino could lay off the Pokepuffs a little bit. They're definitely a tad more heavyset than most Audino, but they don't really seem to mind. At the same time, they're a lot fuzzier, and fluffy parts of the Audino, their ear tufts and their tail, seem extra fuzzy.

Personality: Sophie is easily frightened. She has a timid nature, and often hides behind stronger teammates when dangers about. However, she makes an excellent cleric, able to heal other pokemon's wounds after battles, and able to cure status ailments with ease. Apparently her family line is very diverse, because she knows a lot of moves that wouldn't be obviously known otherwise.
