Anyway, without further ado:

Hi everyone! Roo over here! Man, we've had lots of huge themes last year, huh? Well, don't worry 'cuz I got'chu with even MORE themes! Like literally, I have 49 suggested themes! But I'm getting ahead of myself. A small introduction for those who are new here:
Are you tired of the SWSH being, most of the times, the last three Pokemon that have been added to the site? Are you tired of feeling as if your favorite generation doesn't get enough love, or is swept by the most recent ones? Do you wish you could have a hand in influencing the Pokemon we are going to hunt?
Look no further, you are in the RIGHT place.

For those who don't know me: I'm usually one of the organizers for past SWSH themes we've had! Particularly, I helped with a lot of 'em, from Moth Month (March 2021), Lovecraft Lovers (July 2021), Fungus Frenzy (September 2021), Changing Seasons (November 2021) and the last one, Sparkling Gems (January 2021) and now, once again, I want YOU to decide which theme you'd like to see in the next SWSH!




The plan is quite simple: every non-SWSH month I'm gonna post a thread just like this with 3 themes, and you just have to choose the one you like the most! Then, the next month (the SWSH one) you'll see posters or info graphics inviting people to vote for the theme that had the most votes. PLEASE, consider voting for it and help out the other people who are already excited for a certain theme!

You can also look at it this way: if they get their theme quickly, it means we can get to the one you'd like faster than if you didn't help them! Mutual help! \o/




Personally, I encourage people to express themselves and ask for what they'd like. So, if you have a theme you'd like to see come true, please, go ahead and comment in this thread with it!
If you can, please tell me the reasoning behind them if there's any (for example "Pidgey, Fearow, Farfetch'd, because I like Kanto AND, more importantly, BIRBS") so I can try to think of ways to make them more appealing! Be that with a brand new story like I did with Lovecraft Lovers, OR by bothering https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=61873 into using thematic images related to what you wanted!

So, think of one theme and post it if you want! Be sure to https://gpxplus.fandom.com/wiki/Events#Site-Wide_Shiny_Hunts, and make sure that the Pokemon you want haven't been hunted before!

Currently we have 49 different themes, but you can always propose more!




So next month is gonna be a nice, tranquill month. Maybe? I mean we DO have the site's anniversary comming around AND Legends:Arceus just dropped so... HUH.
Anyway, since its a normal month, I just used a real random number generator to choose from a shuffled list of all the themes suggested so far. So you know, as randomized as I could make it.

Anyway, the reason behind this month's options are:

- Weather Tether Castform, Hippopotas, Torkoal. Proposed by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=56534, and named by me. It's fairly simple too: Castform is the weather Pokemon, Hippopotas has the Sand Stream ability and Torkoal has the Drought ability in the Pokemon games! So basically a bunch of weather-changing 'mons and THE weather Pokemon!

- We could be Royals: Nidoran M, Nidoran F and Frillish. Proposed by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=56534, and named by me. This one is a little obvious too: Nidoran M evolves to NidoKING, while Nidoran F evolves to NidoQUEEN. Meanwhile Frillish (and Jellicent) seem to have a CROWN on top of their heads (the name is supposed to be a slight response to Lorde's song "Royals").

- Quack Attack!: Farfetch'd, Psyduck, Torchic. Proposed by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=107884, and named by me! Pretty straightforwards: it's QUACK TIME. All the Pokemon chosen for this theme are ducks, after all.

So, which one will you choose and would like for us to promote? Be sure to vote in the poll!

I also can't stress this enough, but: Your participation is important, both in this pre-voting stage and in the actual voting stage! So, please, consider participating!




This project is, by NO MEANS, replacing the official SWSH nor officially associated with it. This is just a COMMUNITY project that focuses on trying to organize future SWSHs to give them an extra flavor.
As such, I CANNOT and WILL NOT promise that the winning theme of this stage will be the official SWSH next month, but you can BET we'll do our best to make that come true! That's why your cooperation in voting for the winning theme is also encouraged.

Went with the Royals myself, I need some Nido shinies. But as always, whoever wins will get that spiffy poster!

I'd personally suggest a theme related to the newly released Pokémon Legends Arceus, perhaps with mons that received Hisuian forms, with the Prize Voucher giving you an egg for one of those mons' Hisuian forms
The list I'm suggesting for this theme is (this could be considered a spoiler as one of these mons didn't appear in any prerelease material): Sneasel, Growlithe, and Voltorb

You sound like you could do with some more Theme ideas Rookie!

Here are a few:

Wild Wonders:
Munchlax, Wooper, Kecleon

Celebrating some of the Wild Pokemon we all take the time to help as we go about our day to day on GPX+. We should show our appreciation for their help!


Speed Demons:
Diglett, Tailow, Nincada

These mons (Or their evolved forms) are some of the speediest mons on the site! All of them will zip by you in a flash so maybe we could add a trail of sparkles behind them as well!


ROUND:
Spheal, Voltorb, Poliwag

This one's pretty self explanatory. Let's show some appreciation for some adorable spheres and their ability to just roll their way through life without a care in the world.

I would like to propose the following,

Frosty Friends: Crabrawler, Vanillite and Snorunt - Just a bunch of little guys that take well to the cold.

Mischief Makers: Impidimp, Hatenna and Sinistea - I am well aware that only one of these 'mon is actually available on the site right now. I just figured I'd propose this ahead of time so that it can be a pre-poll option as soon as all three are introduced, lol.
