Name: Tuesday Ilia Berdison
Nickname: Tuesy, Runt, Silence
Age: 13
Appearance: Small, even for her age, Tuesday is often mistaken for an eight-year-old, rather than the teenager she is. Even once people are corrected about her age, Tuesday's natural affinity for silent observation often leads them to doubt her intelligence, until she opens her mouth and proves them all wrong.
Tuesday has thick curly locks of blonde hair which hang halfway down her back. She has taken to pulling all of her hair back into a high, tight ponytail, particularly since she has begun martial arts training with her sensei and adoptive older brother, Jaima.
Of fair skin, Tuesday used to burn quite easily when she was younger, but since she has begun her journey, her exploits outdoors have left her with a darkening tan. Much to her distaste, this tan does nothing to hide the rather hideous (in her opinion) freckles that decorate her arms and craft a band on her cheeks and across her nose.
Tuesday has smoky blue eyes that are often unfocused, as she seems to fade out into another plane of existence, her mind dancing somewhere along creative lines.
She dresses for comfort and never for fashion, although she has a penchant for subconsciously buying clothes that match the colors of her pokemon. She also wear a hooded sweatshirt made to look like a riolu, with ear ribbons included, and has taken to wearing it constantly.
Personality: Tuesday's personality has undergone quite a change since she has begun her pokemon journey. Growing up, she was so perpetually quiet, and when she did speak, so soft-spoken that she earned herself the nickname Silence.
Polite and kind-hearted, she is always willing to help someone in need, but she doesn't trust all that easily. Rather, Tuesday tends to do what she can to help a person, but never reveals much about herself, choosing instead to let someone make up their own ideas. This often leads to her being underestimated, either as a pokemon trainer, or as a person in general. Occasionally, this leads to people offering up rather harsh comments that may not have been intended as such, or doubting her, which only works to lower her already miserable level of self-confidence.
Always more carefree and easy around pokemon than people, Tuesday has learned to read the body language of a lot of pokemon, some from reading about it, and others from personal experience. Having learned to read Dante and Tempest without a flaw, she has full conversations with the both of them that often have strangers turning their heads to figure out what the weird thirteen-year-old is talking about, and to whom.
Accustomed to being overlooked and cast aside, from having two older siblings, Tuesday has learned to take care of herself and learn on the go. She improvises whenever necessary and knows how to hold her own in battle. She is, in no way, the strategist her brother can boast to being, but she isn't quite as "leap first, think later" as her sister. Holding a sort of mid-way opinion between the two extremes, Tuesday doesn't think ahead too far, but does tend to analyze a situation and the people in it. Unfortunately, this occasionally leads to her imagination running away, with her rushing to catch up, and she can find herself expecting the worst, when that's hardly what's coming.
Extremely fond of pokemon, the only kind that Tuesday is rather wary around are water-types, as she doesn't know how to swim. She's also constantly worrying over Dante, who has, on a couple occasions, nearly died from getting his tail-flame doused (one of these times being teasing from neighborhood pokemon trainers and their bully water-type pokemon).
Having been teased by other children her age for her bookish nature and constant drawing (and her weird choice in pokemon names), Tuesday keeps her head down and often lets other people glance over her. She's learned to blend into a crowd and go unnoticed, and she can usually sneak away when she needs to.
Never one to back out from a chance to sleep under the stars, Tuesday isn't afraid to get dirty or having to do a little hard work. Always trying to look on the bright side of things and find that "silver lining," she usually grins and bears whatever she has to, to make it through and see the sunshine in a situation. Although a little meek sometimes, when Tuesday gets to know a person, she's extremely loyal and will open up to them more, displaying her more-talkative side. The most annoying part of this is probably her habit of quoting literature at odd intervals, and laughing at things she says in her head, but what else can you expect from an artistic thirteen-year-old?
Over the course of her journey, Tuesday has slowly but surely been gaining more confidence in herself and her abilities. Capturing and helping more pokemon has been only a small portion of what has led her to begin to speak more often and express herself with greater confidence. Though Tuesday still lacks the confidence she rightly should have, she has recently begun to stand up for herself, even against her older sister, Anika - a feat no one ever thought would occur.
Biography: Tuesday is often overlooked as being too young and of no importance. This under-appreciation and underestimation can work to her advantage when facing an opponent, but even when the thoughts come from an enemy, they often cause her to doubt herself. Though she would much rather pokemon not be used as a means of warfare, this is not to say that Tuesday doesn't know how to fight. On the contrary, she is extremely proficient at caring for pokemon and coming up with unique and innovative attack maneuvers.
Her mother having been a botanically-minded battler and chemist, and her father an amazing battler, Tuesday would have been personally taught all of the wonderful ways to outdo an opponent, if not for the fact that she was the youngest of three siblings.
Her eldest sibling and only sister, Anika, followed easily in their father's footsteps. A "daddy's girl" to the extreme, Anika followed him everywhere and emulated his style, until she became fascinated with Kung Fu (as well as the cute boy who taught it). She then adjusted her pokemon battling style to mirror the martial arts. Still, she retained much of what her father taught her.
The middle child and only boy, Brone, was a sickly child who couldn't spend long outdoors. Instead, he took to following his mother around in her laboratory and learning all sorts of things about pokemon. A strategist when it comes to pokemon battling (as well as an executioner of anyone who dared challenge him at Chess), Brone can put up quite a fight, and has defeated both his father and sister on numerous occasions.
That left Tuesday as the youngest and usually overlooked sibling. Her brother's illness took a lot of her parents' time, and her sister's efforts and accomplishments took a great deal of praise. Despite being the "baby" of the family, Tuesday was generally left to her own devices. Her parents didn't think she was old enough to begin battling, and her mother really didn't want her to, since a pokemon attack when she was younger nearly killed her. Her siblings didn't think she'd be a good pokemon trainer at all initially. Perhaps that's what drove her to be better than all of them.
From observing her parents' teachings, Tuesday learned everything that both her brother and sister had learned - gaining knowledge from both sides. From Anika and Brone's mistakes, she learned a great deal of what not to do, though she made a number of her own mistakes to make up for her knowledge.
What she didn't learn from her family, Tuesday gathered from other pokemon trainers passing through town, during her days helping Professor Oak, or books. An avid reader, Tuesday was easily more intelligent than other children her age, and occasionally more than those older than her. When she was not involved with her pokemon, Tuesday could usually be found with her nose in a book, or else sketching pictures of pokemon, both trained and wild, in her sketchbook.
Tuesday was nine when she was given her first pokemon - a charmander she named Dante - and eleven when she captured Tempest, the hot-tempered pikachu. It was only a few months later that Tuesday turned twelve, and decided that it was finally time for her to leave her home and begin her own pokemon journey, and prove to her siblings and her family that she could do just as well as they, if not better.
Recently, Tuesday and her companions have learned of her ability to use Aura.

Tuesday was nine years old when her older sister, Anika, came home with a charmander, having received the pokemon as prize for defeating a trainer who placed the stakes too high. Always having a particularly loathing of fighting type pokemon, Anika fed the charmander only enough food for it to survive and kept it locked in its pokeball. When the charmander was let out of his pokeball (only to eat), Anika would comment about how weak and useless he and all fire-type pokemon were. It was with no regret but much indifference that Anika gave what she considers to be a useless pokemon to Tuesday.
The charmander had been damaged, both to his ego and his malnourished state. When Tuesday wasn't trying to get the pokemon to eat, she was attempting to prove to him that he wasn't useless. She worked with the charmander constantly, rather ever putting him in his pokeball, and over time, he began to regain confidence in himself. By the time Tuesday was eleven, the two were an inseparable pair. Tuesday named him Dante, for the character in The Divine Comedy, who traversed the nine levels of Hell much like Dante traversed a hell of his own.
Still, however, Dante retained a fear of not being worth Tuesday's compassion. He gets nervous when left in his pokeball for too long a time and he often grows despondent when he loses a battle. Tuesday, however, is determined to prove to him that she loves him whether he's the strongest pokemon or not, and that it doesn't matter whether he wins or loses, so long as he remains her friend.
Of all of Tuesday's pokemon, Dante is the most loyal. Although his evolution often changes a pokemon's view or personality, the one thing about Dante that is static is his uncontested desire to please Tuesday. He is very protective of her and, as he evolves, this desire to keep her out of harm's way intensifies with his ability to do so.
Dante's greatest dream is that he will one day be able to fly. He is given a pair of go-goggles by Tuesday's uncle, who recognizes and supports this dream.
Dante evolved while they were traversing Mount Carello, in order to protect Tuesday from harm. However, this evolution prompted an overprotective urge toward Tuesday with turned toward a crush that made him vicious toward Jaima, in particular, but anyone who he could envision causing Tuesday harm. Recently, this has catalyzed into his nearly killing a fellow trainer's pokemon, and Tuesday sent him to Pallet Town for some cool-down time with Professor Oak. She is particularly embarrassed and horrified by his actions, despite the fact that she and the trainer are budding friends.

Tempest was introduced into their lives when the pikachu abruptly attacked Tuesday, leading to a battle between she and Dante that ended in her capture. She was loath to be anywhere near Tuesday in any sort of amicable relationship, no longer trusting humans after she was brutally treated by her previous trainer, who would chain his pokemon up and make them work like slaves. Like some of the other pokemon, Tempest managed to escape, but she still bears the scars from that life, both mental and emotional, as well as physical, like the white scare on her right rear leg, where a shackle once dug into her flesh.
Tuesday managed to convince Tempest to trust her when she did all she could to protect Dante from getting wet one day during a horrendous storm while they were far outside of town and without his pokeball. The pikachu used her own electric attacks to fight off any lightning that flashed too close, but she truly trusted Tuesday after the young girl got horribly sick from being out in the rain too long. She sat at her bedside with Dante, watching as Tuesday suffered through a bad fever. Since that day, she has been one of Tuesday's best friends and most trusted companions.
Unfortunately, Tempest's trust does not extend directly to other humans or pokemon, and they must earn it before she will even let them near her without risk of being shocked or bitten. As time goes on, however, she seems to be getting better at trusting people, and even allows herself to be touched by Tuesday's team members, Jaima, Darryn, and Meiko.
Still, however, the pikachu is a hot-head and sometimes her temper causes problems between her and Tuesday, leaving the young girl distraught. One of the main subjects of Tempest's ire is Zorro the impish and mischievous riolu. Tempest has unfortunately become the main target for her pranks and she doesn't take to this well. She has agreed to be allies with the riolu, but openly admits that they will never be friends.

The most mischievous pokemon in Tuesday's party and knowledge, Zorro has a love of pranks that rivals Romeo's love of Juliet. Looking at the way he acts, one would assume he was left to prank his entire childhood and never grew out of it. Unfortunately, Zorro has a very sorrowful past.
Raised in Mount Carello by his lucario mother, Zorro had a little brother and an older sister (a shiny riolu). His father, a hitmonchan, was the pokemon of a trainer passing through, and so none of them knew their father. When Zorro was still very young, their home was attacked by a group of people and their pokemon. A medicham, the most powerful of the pokemon, didn't stop when he had knocked Zorro's mom unconscious, but completely destroyed her. Zorro's little brother was killed by a numel, and his older sister was taken. He was knocked down one of the caverns and knocked unconscious when he hit the ground. When he woke up, the intruders were gone, and other than his missing sister, his family was dead.
Zorro grew up on his own, after that, learning the layout of the caverns until he was an expert and helping pokemon escape the clutches of such fiends as those who stole his family from him. It was during one of these attempts that he met Tuesday, saving her from a Feraligatr by drawing the pokemon away. He was drawn to the young girl, who sent off waves that seemed familiar to him. Only once he had caught himself with her pokeball did he come to understand that she controlled Aura and that he needed to become both her trainer and protector.
Zorro hides his sorrow behind a mask of impish glee. He tries to be optimistic and rarely ever suffers moods of despondency. When he does, however, his moments of depression are great and often confusing to those around him, who do not know his past. Most of the time, he is a teasing, playful riolu who somehow came to acquire an entire arsenal of costumes, including a cheerleading outfit and a cowboy suit. Unless he is fighting or in another costume, Zorro is always wearing his trademark pirate hat. He has a fondness for Pirates of the Caribbean and adores Jack Sparrow. He also speaks with a Spanish accent and calls Tuesday "Hermana," which means "sister."
Zorro has a slight crush on Tempest, which is revealed through his continuous attempts to make her his number one target for pranks.

Heritage:
Mother - Houndoom
Father - Houndoom

Born on the streets like many of his pack, Ashleigh is a kindhearted houndour amidst a group of rough, angry canines. He was patrolling the city with the pack's beta when they accosted a young girl. Rather than follow the orders of his commanding canine, Ashleigh attacked the female houndour and was viciously defeated. He was captured by Tuesday, in an attempt to protect him from further harm.
When he was captured, Ashleigh was malnourished and years of living hard on the streets had caused his skull plate to dry out and peel. Darryn Kellor, a traveling companion of Tuesday, helped to heel the skull plate by mixing up a cream and showing Tuesday how to best apply it to help the houndour. Despite a rough life of hunting and fighting for food in an urban area, however, Ashleigh has a kind heart and enjoys being around people and pokemon. Ashleigh is particularly fond of belly rubs, no matter who gives them, and having his head scratched between his horns.
He also has a fondness for Mercury, which is bothersome to the kirlia, who fears dark-type pokemon. Ashleigh is generous when it comes to offering great slobbering tongue-licks, and frequently offers such to Mercury, much to the kirlia's distress. He evolved during a fight with a mightyena, in order to protect Tuesday, and later used his greater speed and strength to protect Mercury.
Ashleigh is very fond of Tuesday for saving him despite their intentions and he works toward protecting her as a means of penance. Now that he has evolved, he has taken to acting as Tuesday’s second in their particular group, and was the first pokemon that Tuesday mentally linked with during a battle using her Aura.
Recently, Professor Oak asked if he might borrow Ashleigh for a time, seeing that the houndoom was good at following orders and well-trained. Ashleigh is currently in Pallet Town, helping the Professor get rid of a problem he is having with wild pokemon attacking the pastured pokemon at his lab.

Having had one previous trainer and been through his fair share of battles, Odysseus is well-associated with both violence and loss. He retains his calm even in the most dire and stressful of circumstances and acts as something of a father figure to the other pokemon in Tuesday's party, particularly Zorro. His methods can be considered a sort of tough-love, and he has a rather harsh way of showing his affection.
Odysseus can be crass when necessary, having picked up some speech patterns and methods from his other trainer, who was a Marine. Odysseus, affectionately called Ody by some, but usually referred to as Captain by others, is most comfortable in the water and often acts like the sailor he is.
His past is not necessarily pleasant for him to think of. After his previous trainer was killed in combat, he was freed back into the wild, where he met another buizel and fell in love. The two had a daughter, Elizabeth. During an attack by Team Deception, Odysseus' wife was killed and his daughter taken away. He has never since stopped searching for her, and though he is realistic in the fact that he may never find her, he still has hope.
Recently, Odysseus was Tuesday's final card in her battle with Vega, the Petropolis Gym Leader. He evolved during battle and was the deciding factor in Tuesday's win.

Name: Reilly Coons
Nickname: ReiRei
Age: 14
Appearance: Tall and thin, Reilly has thick reddish-brown hair with natural streaks of darker red. It sits in a wild, unruly mass on his head like a slumbering flareon. He has tan skin from his excursions throughout Furoh and Sinnoh, almost all of his time spent outdoors, rarely sleeping inside in favor of the good ol' fashioned tent and sleeping bag.
Reilly wears a pair of brown worn-out jeans, a white T-shirt, and a brown jacket. He has a red scarf that's always wrapped around his neck and brown broken-in sneakers.
Personality: At first meeting, Reilly tends to give everyone the same impression: remarkably conceited. In truth, he doesn't have a great deal of confidence in his abilities, but is driven by a fierce determination to prove himself. Born as the only son in what must have been centuries, Reilly doesn't have a place in the family business like his mother or his sisters. Instead, he must find his own place, and he is still searching for it, as well as for who he is, personally.
Reilly is very kind to pokemon and gets along with them exceptionally well. He generally tends to hide his kindness, however, behind a mask of indifference or a cruel word.
Biography: Reilly was born and raised in Sunyshore City, like all of his sisters. Reilly spent a good deal of his childhood wondering where he fit in, because he didn't seem to fit in at all.
While his sisters came of age and became nurses at pokemon centres around Sinnoh, Reilly studied up on pokemon and healing, but when he suggested that he become a male nurse at a pokemon centre when he turned ten, he was shot down. Sons in their family were rare, and they could not become nurses. That was a job for a Joy.
So at ten years old, with a broken dream, Reilly went to visit Professor Rowan, in hopes of getting his pokemon license and starting his journey. Professor Rowan, however, was out of the pokemon usually given to trainers to start their journey. The only pokemon he had was a chikorita, who had hatched from an egg laid by a trainer who had some of her pokemon under the professor's care. The trainer wanted neither the egg nor the pokemon within it, so Professor Rowan gave the chikorita to Reilly. With his first pokemon in hand, he began his journey abruptly, leaving right from the professor laboratory and not even calling home to say good-bye.
Reilly's childhood friend, Jasper, had begun his journey a few months before Reilly, since the other boy had hoped to become a male nurse. He managed to catch up to Reilly on the road and the two began to travel together. Unsure of what he really wanted to do with his life now, Reilly decided to join Jasper as a friendly rival and go for the Pokemon League Challenge.
Together, Reilly and Jasper took Sinnoh by storm, and both eventually managed to defeat the Sinnoh League. Afterwards, they both faced the Elite Four, but while Jasper defeated them with ease, Reilly failed to do so. After taking some time to consider his options, Reilly decided to come back to Sinnoh and face the Elite Four at a different time. He had received a call from his youngest sister, telling him that she was moving to Furoh to be a Nurse Joy at Lenoilia. Reilly decided to go with her and start a new journey in a new region. He offered Jasper the chance to join him, but the boy had other plans and the two parted fondly.
Reilly met with Professor Rowan once more before leaving for Furoh. The professor gave him a chimchar, the pokemon that Reilly had originally hoped to get from him when he was ten. Reilly left his meganium with the professor, as he planned to start completely over. He met his sister at the ship to Furoh, and began his new journey.
Beginning in Port Barley, Reilly wasted no time jumping into his pokemon journey. He had failed to defeat the Elite Four, but planned to prove himself in this new region and battled anyone who was willing. He had the experience he had gained from his journey in Sinnoh to help him defeat trainers along the way.
Reilly travelled around the immediate area of Lenoilia for a while, spending his nights sleeping outside of the city where it was cleaner or, much to his distaste, at the pokemon centre. He was traversing through town one day when he came upon a man mugging a trainer for his pokemon. Reilly stopped the man, with the help of Indiana (who evolved during the battle), and saved the boy from being mugged. Grateful, the boy gave him a pokemon in thanks, before making his way swiftly from Lenoilia, wanting cleaner air and safer neighborhoods. The pokemon happened to be a shiny doduo, much to Reilly's shock, and he named the bird Lestat, since he was so fast and had one head that seemed quite mad.
Reilly learned, during his stay in Lenoilia, about his sister's possible transfer to Arasam. Reilly tried to talk her into going, but she wanted to wait to hear from her boyfriend. When she gained no reply from her call, she transferred, and Reilly went with her, escorting her as they walked to the next town. It was in Arasam, after the pokemon contest, that Reilly finally met his sister's then ex-boyfriend, Jaima Kuonji, and his companions. One in particular was a girl a year younger than him, named Tuesday, who he felt had an unhealthy obsession with books and needed to understand and admit that movies would always be better.
This began a rivalry between the two that would continue throughout their journeys.
