Is there a specific Daycare message for possible relatives breeding? Trying to achieve Skitty on a Wailord achievement, and aside from minor level differences, there seems to be nothing wrong. The message was actually more hopeful when there was a 40+ level difference between the two than now that the Skitty is around 10 levels higher. dumblook.gif

The message you get is the same as the one you'd get from incompatible groups; I believe it's "The two Pokemon are not interested in each other in the slightest" or something like that. Note that inbreeding is only denied between siblings or parents and children; any more separation between generations is fine.

Hmmm, then its not inbreeding. The message is "The two Pokémon can hardly stand to even look at each other.". Previously, it was the not interested in each other in the slightest... that was when the skitty was around level 12 and the Wailord level 55. Now the Wailord is level 56 and the Skitty is level 65.

I'm 99% certain that that message just means that, while they hate each other, eventually they'll look past their differences and start a happy family of Skitty and/or Wailmer. They're close enough in level that they should breed. It might take a while, though. :)

I took a look at your pair and there's nothing to suggest they won't EVENTUALLY breed. Just keep them in there and eventually you'll have your achievement.

Based on what I've heard (which may be entirely wrong), even a ~10 level difference like you've got can be enough to make a pair incompatible. Try to get them within ~1-2 levels of each other. If they still don't like each other much, leave them in the Daycare for awhile; their compatibility will slowly grow as they stay in the Daycare together. If all else fails, you may consider buying the Destiny Knot account upgrade.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

I'm slowly working on the Destiny Knot, and I'm waiting for tomorrow to stick my Wailord back in the Vs. Seeker. Thank you for all the help!
