I was wondering if anybody else uses Safari on a Mac (I'm on OS X 10.6 with Safari v.5.1) and is having trouble getting the flipped text to display correctly and/or knows how to get it to work properly?
Example: Mousing over the Trinkets you get from the Pokechests is supposed to "flip" the text to show the item description, but behind that the original non-moused-over text is still visible, but upside-down, making things hard to read. I can't use other browsers because they don't play nice with my system. JavaScript is enabled and I tried clearing my cache. It's done this since I signed up yesterday :c (and I hope I'm posting in the right place - I don't think it's a site error, just something funny with my browser that I hope somebody can help me fix...) Try going to "Skins and Settings", make sure you're on the Skins tab, and play around with disabling animations/shadows/3D effects/gradients and see if any of those fixes it. I remember doing that when this version of the site (with the flipping text) first came out, but I can't manage to replicate the issue now so I don't know exactly what fixes it.
Also, I'm using an older version of Safari than you are (5.0.6, on OS X 10.5.8), so it may be a new-vs.-old issue. -------------------- |

Ahah! The 3D effects seem to be the culprit here. The swapped text isn't quite as fancy, but I'll take it just to be able to read everything!
Thank you! -------------------- |
