--- Happy 2011, GPXPlus! This thread is outlining two events we'll be running in January, in addition to a new Exploration that'll be available at some point in the month. First, on January 2nd, at noon, server time, we'll be having a draw for legendary Pokemon and other prizes. How do you enter? This will be based on your activity score on the 1st - for every 2011 points of activity score you get that day, you'll have one entry in to the draw. The amount of prizes will be determined later, once we know how many entries there'll be in the draw... also, as eggs will be handed out in this draw, if you intend on participating, it is recommended you have a slot or two free in your party prior to this time on the 2nd. You won't need to be online at the time that prizes are handed out, however you will need an empty slot in your party. The 1st will also be a x3 day. Also, we'll be starting our third site-wide shiny hunt in January. Sign ups will open most likely on the 1st or 2nd, and will run until the 14th, and then, the hunt will run for the remainder of the month. I'll post a separate thread for this with all the pertinent information later on, but if you've done one before, you should already know what to expect. Note that you'll need a Shine Recorder to participate. Happy New Year everybody, and good luck with everything, yup yup! Update: I'm pushing back the time that the prizes will be distributed to 4 PM server time, so keep in mind that you need to have party slots open at 4 PM, not 12 PM. Nothing else is changed though, you don't need be online when the Pokemon are handed out, you just need to have slots open in your party, yup yup.
