It currently knows Fire, Ice, and Thunder Punch. What should it's 4th move be?

I always like the move thunder (Needs a TM I think) Because it has high power, with a lot of PP

maybe Earthquake, but that requires TM. Psychic could work too, but SA isn't so high.

I would have to say Thunder...It's a really good electric move, and very impressive.

Um...Earthquake? Only Lanturn resists the combo of Ice/Electric/Fire.

I would say swords dance.
Very useful, use it many times it USUALLY lands an instant kill. (Well, for me.) If he can't learn swords dance then let him learn Thunder Wave. This post has been edited by Sharkosaurus: Apr 18 2010, 08:27 PM -------------------- ayy

swords dance wouldn't help him. he has elemental punches, he would need calm mind, but electrive cant learn it. I would suggest earthquake to help get rid of blissey. If you compete with other people.

Hm... Is this for in-game, or competetive battling?
Earthquake seems to be the best choice both ways. Something to hit Lanturn, and strike Empoleon harder is nice to have. Furthurmore, Heatran and opposing Electivire are knocked right out, and the former runs amuck in many teams. If Blissey is more of a worry, you could always ditch fire punch for cross chop/brick break. Steel coverage is retained through earthquake and cross chop, and Skarmory is never too confident to switch in straightaway, since your opponent may be thinking it's a mix-attacker. If Scizor is a bigger worry, you can run fire punch > earthquake, but make sure you have cross chop/brick break to deal with other steel types, and at least hit Lanturn for neutral damage. Heatran and Empoleon are far more common than Lanturn and Electivire (competetively), and Scizor + Bliss are in a fair few teams as well, so cross chop/brick break seems to appear the most effective, overall. @ Lord of the fly scorpions: Meditate > calm mind on Electivire, as the elemental punches are physical moves. Plus, Electivire can learn meditate, I believe. If it can, it's another alternative. Come in on an electric move, set up a meditate on the switch, and there's a dragon dance boost. =P |
