I just wanna say thank you everyone, for a great 5 years. Technically, I've only been here for about 4.5 years of those 5 years, but it's been amazing seeing everything change and being part of such a great community. Here's to another 5 great years!

Do the Pokemon have to be at a certain level to mega evolve?

*EDIT* QUESTION! Will they work on shinies? I have a shiny Charizard that I'd like to use it on. Will he still be black when evolved? Also worth noting is that you will eventually be able to change your megas back to their regular form. Quick question... What happens if we release a Mega? Does it revert? Because I'm feeling generous enough to say, raise a bunch of Mega Blaziken and unleash them upon the Safari Zone at completely random and unannounced times.

However, not all Mega shiny palettes are the same as their non-Mega shiny forms. For example, regular Shiny Gardevoir is blue with a pale pink dress, but Shiny Mega Gardevoir is blue with a black dress. To reassure you, Mega Charizard Y, coincidentally, is the same colors as regular Charizard: normally orange, but black when Shiny. --------------------  |
