You see,MissingNo. is a glitch pokemon who uses glitches to defend and attack and mess up your game so you don`t win.But Arceus (God,in pokemon form)created the universe and can,I guess,bend time and space like Palkia and Dialga to win.The question is,who would win?

Who else? Neither. Simple answer. Arceus isn't out yet and MissingNo. is just a glitch that can also be beaten easily. Still, I'd say Arceus. Stupid Judgment...

But Missing No is a creature that is beyond Arceus judgement

I guess MissingNo. is the great devil of the pokemon world, since Arceus is the god. So neither can win, because if MissingNo. messes up your game... then it would, in a way, destroy itself. Self-destruction.

I would think Missing No. would win because it's glitchyness and game destroying abilities could glitch and destroy Arceus. That's my way of thinking anyway.

thing about arcues is you still see lots of people that have them even though they havn't been handed out! I thing arceus would win

It actually depends on their movesets, the trainer, what type Arceus is, stats, etc. But if neither of them had a trainer, Arceus would win.

Arceus. Stat wise MissingNo's defense is horrible, and if leveled too much goes back to level 1 
Not to mention damage to the game, but thats not the most pleasant of subjects

Missingono. only exists in Red and Blue. Unless you still have the original two, it might as well be extinct. Even a modern Lv.1 Magikarp makes the once useful glitching powers of Missingno. look like a joke. Don't get me wrong, Missingno. had perks in the old days, filling my bag with seemingly limitless rare candy and gear, but it occasionally corrupted my saved files, forcing me to start all over again, and got fixed by the time the second gen came around so it never gets to see the light of another battle. By today's standards, Arceus wins without batting an eye. Sorry Missingno.

arceus could easily kill missingno. but glitch nidorino, thats a different story, he shuts off your game with the attack "tm 42"

I would personally think that Arceus would win s ice Missingno. is nonexistent. The glitch was fixed, so there is no Missingno. to battle with. However, if somehow you manipulated the data and hacked a Missingno, the data could be read ottally differently. Anyways, Arceus would still win by utterly destroying it with a well placed Judgement.

Missingno pwns EVERYTHING eventually. Like, Arceus would win, but then MissingNo would come back to haunt it when Arceus' plate data got corrupted.

MissingNo. would most likely win because it uses gliches to win and when Arceus is caught it loses its supernatural
abilaties like any other legendary.

Going outside the game standpoint, we need to know what, exactly Missingno. IS. I've always viewed it as a cosmic horror of sorts, ESPECIALLY IN YELLOW. In Yellow, Missingno. "killed" your character by frying his brain. And in all of the games, it is lurking, waiting for you to preform the right rituals to summon it into being--in other words, congrats, you glitched your game somehow.
Now, we need to figure out if a powerful--probably not ALL-powerful, but powerful--creature, verging on a god, is enough to take down something that is closer to Nyarlathotep (because I'm assuming it can actually THINK, unlike the blind idiot god Azathoth). It certainly seems to enjoy spreading madness...
Besides, i'm pretty sure Arceus would have curbstomped it by now if it could. They're probably at least equally matched in power.
EDIT: Woops, forgot about Yog-Sothoth. It fits Missingno. better anyway. DURRR, I'M FREAKING AMAZING.

It depends on Missingno.'s level. 0=Arceus, 80=either, 120=either, 180=Missingno.
That Sky Attack will mess you up.

Yes, but they can't do that sort of maneuver in a game. My comment was from the perspective of it crashing the game but not corrupting the save file.

Arceus is a God, while MissingNo. is an eldritch abomination from beyond time and space. Arceus has no concept of MissingNo., and could not defeat him in combat. I like to imagine that simply seeing MissingNo. in the physical plane would cause people and Pokemon alike to die of massive brain hemmoriging.

Hm, I'd have to say Missingno would probably win. Being a glitch in the system, who knows if could glitch up 'god'?

Last post is from Dec 10, so I hope it's not too old for posting.
Anyway, if we take MissingNo to represent chaos and entropy, I'd have to say Arceus can only banish MissingNo to Far Realms-or-whatever-you-call-it, but eventually the universe will dissolve to the chaos and MissingNo ultimately wins as Arceus disappears along with people and Pokemon who worshipped him.

agreed. Missingno may "self-destruct", as some of you people say, upon trying to mind-fuck the crap out of Arceus and completely glitch-up and destroy the game, but whos to say he can't be created again, or even transferred?
all it takes is a good hacker, and Arceus is toast.

MissingNo. will glitch itself up so it can have that one HP bar that goes over the screen. I actually don't really like Arceus that much compared to other legendaries, though.
