Now introducing... Mission Camps.

Mission Camps are secret bases where members can go in order to receive missions from the Officer who heads the camp. These missions are designed to train and test the faction members in their skills.

It is the job of the Officer* to design these tasks based on the learning needs of the member who has come to them and the jobs that need done for the factions.

After the successful completion of enough missions to satisfy the Officer, he or she will give the member a certificate of completion and deem you graduated from that camp. If you wish to move on to the next Mission Camp, that is your choice.

Mission Camps In Roleplay

A Mission Camp is not an additional RP. If a member wishes to have their character go to a Mission Camp, this will be their RP. They will gain levels and faction points where applicable, as with any RP. The only difference is that a mod is playing the Officer who will be giving them their mission, at the start and end of the RP.

As with all RPs, the rules still apply that there must be at least two people RPing together (in this case, the mod who plays the Officer does not count).

It is also possible to perform the job assigned you by your Mission Camp Officer (MCO) while performing another mission given you by whoever it is who normally gives you missions.

To Join a Mission Camp

In order to start a Mission Camp, a member must PM an Uprising RP Moderator (currently Master Houndoom or Umbrae Calamitas) and tell them that they wish to do a Mission Camp for their next RP. The mod will then PM the member back a letter from the Officer.

The letter will contain the location of the first Mission Camp, and the name of the Officer the member is to report to. The member may then RP finding this Mission Camp, as it's not going to be as simple as walking into a Pokemon Center. The Mission Camps are hidden. Expect to have to search.

Questions

If you are confused about something or have any questions, you can visit the Mission Camp Discussion Thread, or PM a mod.

Good luck!

As an additional note: Mission Camps all have high defenses that make it so that anyone actively searching for them without an invitation, or letter, to be there, will not be able to find it. Those that break their contract by telling someone else of their Mission Camp will also be unable to find it.
