September Community Thread! The August Community thread has been moved here. If you're new here then don't be shy! The community thread is the place to come and chat with fellow members of the site who share a common interest with you. Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people! Rules
Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently! The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose! -------------------- |

Hmm. Seems like the 5th could be Victini. No idea as to what the 6th is yet.
To the PC! EDIT - PC tells me the 6th will be Lunar Larvitar. This post has been edited by RicFule: Aug 31 2016, 11:02 PM -------------------- |

I was going to guess Diancie for the 6th, since it's associated with Carbink, but I think Lunar Larvitar makes more sense.
I totally thought someone else was going to request Floral Togepi, so I didn't request it. Plus also I've already got one you see. (/reference) Also I'm hoping for a shiny Mega! c Sooooo I dunno how many people have opted for Dark Saturday, but I need to (temporarily) change my Daycare pair because I'm pretty sure there are no eggs in the Shelter for it... -------------------- |

Finally a new month! I've only registered five days ago (or was it six?), so I didn't have a chance to participate in any of last months special explorations. I could have started one, but wouldn't have had a chance to finish it, so I've been waiting for this impatiently.
Though I must say, I'm kind of disappointed with the legendaries available this month. Zygarde is the only one, that I really want from the list. Genesect is okay, but I'm not really interested in all the Regis. At least I won't have too hard a time choosing between them I'm also waiting for that Egg Distribution! Especially hoping to get a Xerneas or a Lunar Larvitar (at least I think that's what the last one is). -------------------- |

Hi everyone please tell me how it's September already? Because help. How. Seriously. Eek.
I'll probably go for Yveltal, but who knows what RNG will grace me with. -------------------- |

Hard to believe there's just four months left in the year! I say, bring on fall! I hope the weather will actually be cool in the next couple of months. Last year I was sweating during Christmas of all days.
And as RicFule said, the mystery for the 6th is more than likely Lunar Larvitar. Hard to believe that one had just been released earlier this year. I haven't decided which one I want yet. -------------------- |

I guess I'll try for Xerneas or Yveltal.
I also got a rude reminder from a friend that NaNoWriMo is now two months away. Anyone participating? I haven't even had a story idea yet. I just dropped 3 Floral Togepis too! -------------------- |

QUOTE(KatTheBard @ Aug 31 2016, 9:30 PM) Yeah, looks like Sign Seven got that egg. I seem to be pretty lucky with breeding novelties; I get like two or three a day! ( Haha I either breed no novelties or a pile in a day, it's a bit annoying for my shiny hunts xD I'm looking forward to the last pokemon in the distribution, I'm intrigued by what it might be! I think you may be right about it being Lunar Larvitar (which I am side shiny hunting!) KatTheBard -------------------- |

Too time consuming. :P I like watching the booktubers I watch go through it though. Good luck! I'm excited that it's finally turning into autumn months. The weather needs to seriously chill out. Less than a week for competitive season 2 on Overwatch as well. So excited to try it out and finally experience a limited hero roster. -------------------- |

YUSSHH foggy weather at last! I've been stuck on this dumb Gengar task for DAYS!
I've been tempted to try NaNoWriMo since I'm a writer, and do a lot of fan fics and stuff... but never have the inspiration or motivation to write more than a few weeks -------------------- |

Writing stresses me out way, way too much. I can only just barely get through nonfiction/research-based writing without panicking, but fiction? Nooooooooooooope.
Be sure to note achievement/pokedex/interaction/points requirements for the explorations, DraconicDM, since you said you're new (welcome btw! ) -------------------- |

Hm, the last one sounds intriguing. I started the Arceus explo for the first time earlier this week. Not bad so far though I'm sure some frustration is in store. Can't believe the year is almost over already (and i almost have a 2 year old!).

I think I might put my Shiny EB hunt on the back burner (again) for now... I wanna be one of the first 20 people to get a shiny Lunar Larvitar

Seriously, where is this year going? :P Time's going so fast.
I unfortunately didn't get to complete the last task of the scavenger hunt (damn real life got in the way haha). It's the first scavenger hunt that I haven't fully completed in a long time. Oh well. Need another Xerneas for my living dex, so I think I'll go for that in the distribution. As for explorations, I think I'm well overdue for another Arceus run, so I'll be doing that this month ^^ And I got a bit of exciting news today! Looks like we'll be getting another dog at the end of the month It's almost been a year since our old doggie passed away, so we thought it was time for another one. We're going to adopt a greyhound this time, an ex-racing one from a greyhound rehabilitation organisation. The organisation is pretty good at matching a greyhound to suit your household, so we got an email today saying they have picked one out for us, and she'll be ready for us by the end of the month I hope it all works out, because I really miss having a dog around. -------------------- |

I can't believe it's September already It'll be 2017 before we know it, way to close to my proposed wedding date :s Can't believe it's been almost four years since we started dating xD
That is SO sweet to hear, Eevee! Hearing people rescuing animals makes me so happy (: Edit: Okay, what are the odds that my novelty pair's first batch of eggs would have a novelty?! My Shiny Lunar Larvitar hunt is off to a good start <3 Edit 2: My shady Salesman FINALLY morphed into a Prankster... only took all week xD This post has been edited by Alicat: Sep 1 2016, 04:38 AM -------------------- |
