Do you personally think that naming your Pokemon makes you more attached to them? Do you name all of your Pokemon, or just the ones you like?
I haven't named any yet but I plan to once I figure out names for them all. I know in the original game I named EVERY Pokemon, but the ones I didn't care as much about got really stupid names. I left them in the PC and they never saw the light of day. Here I think it might be the same...I'll end up naming them all eventually, but my favorites will always be out with me when I'm not trying to hatch a new guy. --------------------      I always click back when I can! I'm really bad at naming things.... AQnything that I come up with sounds worse than the standard name, so I prefer keeping the later. Less brain usage for me

I usually have names for my Pokemon, even if it is a silly one.
My female Gengar will always be named Xanthro, my male Wartortle with always be named Terry and I usually don't have preferences for names for any other Pokemon. My favourite name will always be BRB Soup for my Linoone in my Diamond game.

Ingame, I don't name my Pokemon, 'cause I become attached through simply battling with them all the time. But on here, I decided to give them names (and soon descriptions) for more attachment. My Azurill was the first Pokemon I gave a name to. Her name is Lulu.

I name my pokemon if It has a name in my Pearl game or if it reminds me of something, otherwise, i don't name it

Naming my pokemon does make me much closer to them ♥

In the names, I've nicknamed most of my Pokemon, except for in Platinum when I've literally nicknamed every since one that I've caught..

eh I used to never nickname unless they were special but since rescue team blue and diamond ive nicknamed every single one just to distinguish, even if they were nonsensical. the habit continued over here. I've nicknamed every single one. I only follow one rule: The nickname has to start with the first letter of species. and i dont change it if they evolve. so like on here my bannette is named Shayzn because it WAS a shuppet. Oh yeah on here they all have Z's in there name haha.
Also if I'm mass breeding, I try and name them after places. So my Mudkips are all places starting with M (until I ran out and then started just naming them something foreign) and my bulbasaur's are all places starting with B -------------------- I claim Vash and Hunny-chan!

I didn't nickname the majority of my first hatched Pokemon, but lately I've been naming them all. Usually just random things that pop into my head within a few minutes of hatching.. gives them a bit of extra personality, I think.

I name all of mine. I use a name generator, or sometimes give them a name I made up or the name of a meme or a famous individual.
