Self-explanitory: HP or THG?
Imo, Harry Potter is a no brainer on my end, but I'm curious.

I would have to say Harry Potter. Both series were amazing and written by extraordinary authors. In the end, though, Mockingjay is a bit too violent, and coming from me that's pretty dogone violent.

How about neither? I don't conform to such media trends.

Oh my god, I sound like such a fucking hipster...

I say hunger games because it's better than TWILIGHT O.O
Harry Potter... eh, it's okay. It's been one of those "okay" series to me. The thick books... I don't really dig those.

I enjoyed reading both series, but I enjoyed reading The Hunger Games more.

Harry Potter is leagues ahead.

Harry Potter of course.
HP had a better storyline than HG.

Both are good works of art, and litertature in my opinion. however, Peeta's 'Always' is not as good as Snape's 'Always.' So go HP!

I say the two are of a completely separate caliber. Harry Potter was about a magical world with the subjects of loyalty, love, friendship, and comradery discussed with respect to their conflict with power and control. The Hunger Games is one big political struggle in the setting of an alternate world where a (in my opinion) very intriguing idea behind it.

One thing we can all agree on, though, is that both are still better love stories than Twilight.

Harry Potter all the way.

Just a question, why are we comparing Harry Potter to The Hunger Games? They're pretty different.

Just a question, why are we comparing Harry Potter to The Hunger Games? They're pretty different.

Because they're majorly popular and came from previously unknown authors that suddenly got huge success.

...and people say they hear too much about the Hunger Games.

Personally, I love the Harry Potter series more.
The Hunger Games has a great storyline, but Harry Potter has many more underlying meanings.
Plus, I am so tired of love triangle plots.

I CAN'T VOTE! my option isn't there whut

So here's my vote:

Harry Potter for the Movies. Cause the movies were unf. <3

Hunger Games for the Books. Cause it's the only book series that made me fangirl squeal. ._.

Harry Potter that's for sure, i'm not into Hunger Games, the original idea was from Battle Royale which i really like

Harry Potter is by far more entertaining in my opinion. I mean, I love the hunger games, but there's so much more you can learn and do with Harry Potter. You can go into your own house and everything. There really isnt much to the Hunger Games besides the movies..

Posted by: TTD Feb 13 2016, 01:25 AM

I'm sure Harry Potter is better written and more entertaining if I were to get into it, but my vote goes to the Hunger Games since it's like a less silly Battle Royale with the hotness of Jennifer Lawrence.

Both series of books are really good reads but if I had to chose one it would be Harry Potter every time.

Posted by: Felly Jun 21 2016, 04:32 PM

I think I'm gonna have to go with Harry Potter. Don't get me wrong, I liked Hunger Games too, but I feel like Harry Potter was more relatable overall. That's not to say that Hunger Games wasn't relatable too because it certainly was, but Harry Potter just had more that people could relate to than Hunger Games.
