My Guards

Secret entry, date unknown

Since coming here almost two years ago, I have been fascinated by these Pokemon and their mysteries--so much that I have started studying them extensively. I admit I'm not much of a scientist, but working with a few others and reading into the early hours of the morning have given me some idea of what things Pokemon scientists look for. I've taken a particular interest in Pokemon genetics, especially the makeup of the rarer ones. But my biggest question is this: what determines how Pokemon breed? Why are some species unable to breed, and how do they continue to survive and thrive? What determines compatibility of two Pokemon? Lastly, how come we don't see any "hybrids?" Where I come from, when two dogs breed, for instance, the offspring is a mix of the two parents' breeds, sharing the characteristics of both. Why is this not the same with Pokemon? What would a hybrid look like, and how would we identify them? I have spent the last year studying Pokemon genetics extensively and... messing around with the DNA from some of my Pokemon that willingly volunteered to help me. I'm not entirely sure what I did, but I finally made a breakthrough, and my Houndoom and Mightyena have loaned their DNA to the first--to my knowledge--true Pokemon hybrid. It's identified as a Mightyena, despite having dominant Houndoom characteristics. My research has only just begun...

Okay, so I'm not really splicing DNA here, but I am splicing sprites! Awhile back, I spliced a Houndoom and Mightyena together and I was rather pleased with the results. I'd like to try my hand at it, though I admit I have little experience with it at the moment. So, that's what I'm hoping to do--splice some more sprites and get some experience! But I need your ideas! So, send 'em to me! There's only one thing that I ask at this moment in time--please, please, please list only TWO (2) Pokemon in your idea/request. That's all I can handle right now. Any requests that list more than two will be ignored. Also, please do not hound me to get these things done--I have a very busy life outside this forum and site, and sometimes I get caught up in a bunch of other things. Please be patient with me--I will strive to get things done as quickly as I can.

Alright, that's it! Mind the Mightyena on your way out.

(Oh, yeah, it would help if I showed you what I was talking about, wouldn't it? Check this link! Mightyena/Houndoom hybrid)
