Maribella Monteiro has a fully developed body and is full of 'curves'. She stand at 5'7" and weighs 118 pounds, making her almost underweight. She has dark purple eyes, which sometimes seem to be black from far away but you will observe it's unnatural color if you get to look at her up close. She has long eyelashs, making her eyes very attractive and seductive depending on the way she closes them. Her hair is a dark black that sometimes appears to be a midnight blue, though her roots are completely black and her hair color is 100% natural. It is short and stops right after her chin. She has three ring-shaped earrings on both her ears, them being two on the bottom and one on top. They made of pure gold and shine brightly in the sun.

She wears a teal blue dress that has no sleeves at all. It barely covers her legs and has a dark black belt on her waist, which she can easily unstrap to do random damage on an enemy, or simply because she feels violent at the moment. She has some teal blue straps wrapped around her arm just after her elbow. It is fairly tight and if she were to take it off you could see the marks of it. She wears them over a white glove she has on both her hands.She also has what looks like a dark blue handkerchief wrapped around her head, which she occasionally uses to put her hair out of her face.

The bottom part of her dress as stated above, barely covers her legs stopping a lot before her knees. She wears some white shorts under it though, since she doesn't find it necessary to show her panties off to anyone. Her bottom part of the dress which is separated from the belt, is cut on the sides, making it visible she wears white shorts underneath, though it does match to tell the truth. Similar to the teal blue straps wrapped around her arm, she has some of those on her legs too. The go from just below her knees all the way to her sandals, actually being part of her sandals. She wears some long socks that are held by the straps though, which is very comfortable if you ask Mary.

Mary has a small pocket tied to her wight leg, where it has a very small knife she keeps in handy just in case she looses her sword. It also has a smaller pocket in the inside that has a few peices of candy and gum. She wears a golden necklace under all her cloths and it has a blue jewel made of turquoise.

Personality:

Maribella is a slightly mysterious girl at first glance. She doesn't speak much and seems to keep everything to herself. But if you think she is the silent type... think again. She is very excited and simply loves having fun whenever she can. She will turn the worst situation into the funniest one with a simple few words and comments.

She doesn't like feeling bad, so she often chews a piece of candy whenever she feels bad to fill her up with sweetness. If she isn't chewing gum or sucking on some candy, she is looking for something to do while she waits for time to pass by.

Most of her feelings and emotions are unknown to herself... Making it almost unpredictable on how she will react in various situations... Though most of the times she appears to be a jolly happy girl that simply loves riding in her ship and making friends.

Mary has a weird habit of glaring at any person she just meets, using that as a test of their courage to stay near her. If they get away from her, she thinks of them as weak and scared. But if they tend to stay after her evil glare then she will greet them with a happy smile and welcome the person as a brave and courageous friend.

For some weird reason, Mary tends to see hallucinations at one time or another, making her randomly yell or fight against mid air.. This is unknown to her however, she believes that she is gifted in seeing some things that no one else can.

She is basically a happy and mysterious freak!

Biography:

Maribella was born in Portugal inside a pirate ship. Her mother was a maid and her father the owner of the pirate. She grew up to be spoiled, though she always was a nice little baby. Her father were beat her mother up, though Mary would never see or hear this anytime. She didn't like her mother much anyway since her father would always take her out to the top deck, and then downstairs to beat her mother up for not cleaning the ships bathroom and etc.

When Mary turned 5, she got her first little sword and would wander around the ship and even land sometimes with it. "Hiya!" She would yell while twirling it around in her right hand and stabbing random people in the middle of the street. She would see the blood coming out of their bodies, which she had no idea what it was not seeing it before.

"What's this stuff?" She asked as she put her sword away and walked up to the people on the ground, who were in deep pain. She bent down and touched their wounds, observing the warm red liquid on her index finger and watching the sun shine on it. She dared to put her finger in her mouth, the blood tasted funny... and weird. Not very tasty to tell the truth.

"Eww... That doesn't taste good." Mary affirmed to herself as she turned around and walked back to the ship, curious about if she had that so called 'blood' in her body too. When she got to the ship she hear her mother yelling, to her surprise she seemed in pain and never having her this before she was quite scared about what was happening. She walked downstairs and heard the yelling even louder. She didn't dare to enter the room, but she could hear her father yelling at her mother as she continued yelling in pain.

"Stop yelling you maiden!" He would yell, a few seconds after her mother's screams turning into quiet whimpers. He was glaring at her, she had cut marks all over her body and blood dripping to the ground. He cut her up badly when she talked back to him. She didn't agree about wanting to steal from Cervantes, but whenever she talked about the subject she would be smacked in the face.

"I... I just don't want you to die... Maribella would be very sad." The poor woman mopped from under her tears and pain. She whimpered once more and soon quiet down. The man glared at her, putting his black boot on top of her cut bleeding leg and coming close to her ear, whispering a few words to her.

"I won't die before you. You know that. Your days are counted and Maribella has to grow up. She's already five years old. Pirates go through bigger things than losing their parents." He told her, now pushing against her leg, which now had a boot mark on it was the blood seeps out quicker. She bit her lips so she wouldn't yell again, she didn't want Mary to get scared or watch the scene.

"O-okay mas-ster..." She answered, then looking down to the ground from the wooden chair she was tied up to. The man smirked evilly, and walked behind the chair as he grabbed his long silver sharp sword. He raised it up and cut the ropes, making the woman fall to the ground on her knees and hands as she coughed some blood. She then wiped her lips and looked at him from the ground.

"If you don't mind... I'm gonna go look for something to wrap around these wounds before I doe because of blood lose, thank you very much." She then slowly got up and started walking towards the stairs. Maribella upon hearing this quickly darted upwards, running out into town and far away from the ship so they didn't know she heard all that. While Mary ran, her father looked at her mother barely being able to hold herself up as she walked towards the stairs.

A year later Maribella's father brutally killed her mother after a discussion they had. She was six and now had grown to not like her mother at all because of the things her father would tell her, such as mothers were for weaklings, which was why he killed his when he was 10.

"Wow... Why'd you kill your mom papito?" She would ask curiously, actually forgetting her mother was killed that very morning. She did feel somewhat depressed though, even though she didn't like her mother, it was still her mother. Her father wrapped his hands around her as they stared out into sea and he pointed out into the wide ocean.

"Well... I didn't like her. She'd boss me around and I think piratas take care of their own lives. That's why I let you wander off around the city. It's because I know you are a pirata and you know how to care of yourself no matter how young or how old you are." He assured her calmly, looking down at her and greeting her with a friendly father hug.

"Wow... Is that why you killed mama? So she wouldn't boss me around?" She asked innocently, looking up at her father's eyes and hoping to god she wouldn't get beat up for mentioning the fact she knew he had killed her. Her heart pumped quickly, fear slightly taking over her body as she looked at his eyes becoming visibly angry. He paused for a minute and soon took a deep breath before speaking to her again.

"No. I killed your mother for other reasons... but you can look at it that way. I don't want anyone to boss my little pirata around." He told her, biting his lips afterwards as he restrained himself from his violent nature of brutally beating women up.

Mary smiled, she was happy her father controlled himself, and to her this was a test of control. If her father hadn't controlled himself right now, she was sure she would leave the next day, even if she had to take the small rowing boat all the way back to Portugal.

The years passed. Maribella got better with her sword skills and had traveled around the 7 seas with her father at the time. She was 10 years old now and was on a journey with her father. He verbal language had changed drastically though, she would say more cuss words, most of them being in Portuguese though... She also acquired this weird habit... which got her into stabbing her father accidentally.

"Hey papito... Do you see that whale over there?" She asked, climbing up higher on the poopdeck and putting her hands over her head as she squinted her eyes to see better. Was she actually seeing a whale? She was near Africa, and what she knew about Africa was sharks were more common than whales for sure.

"Whales? Are you crazy Bella? There are no whales here!" He told her, speaking as if she was some crazy person that said turtles had wings and could fly if they wanted to. He continued steering the boat towards shore, which was another reason there shouldn't be any whales nearby.

"I'm not crazy. I see a whale! A baleia! I'm not blind it's over there!" Mary yelled, pointing at the black figure which now jumped out of the water and made a huge splash, throwing water up and over the boat. Mary threw her arms upwards to not let the water get her face, but ended up only covering her eyes. She was soaked now. Her hair was dripping and she ould taste the salt water dripping inside her mouth.

"Want anymore proof that there's a whale out there?" She asked blankly, turning over to her father with her arms still up. He looked at her, and saw her perfectly normal. Dry hair, common dimwitted expression and her clothes perfectly normal as well. The only strange thing to him was the fact her arms were upwards.

"I don't see any proof minha pirata... You must be playing tricks on me." He told her shortly before rolling his eyes and looking again at shore, turning the ships steering wheel and now going towards it. There was no whale, so what was Mary seeing?

"There is a whale!" Maribella flailed, throwing her arms next to her as he wet hair flew into her face. She wasn't crazy, her father just was pretending that she was... or was he not? He had to... if he wasn't then why was she all wet?

"Calm down Maribella!" He yelled at her, now going straight towards African shore. His eyes were filled with anger due to the childish insistence his child had about seeing a whale. "There is no whale! You are seeing things! And if you want to prove it go and ask an African native!"

Bella dropped her arms... he called her by her name, which meant he was serious and angry at the same time. She gave up at convincing him... it could end up costing her life to do so and that wasn't worth it. She could as well as just ask a naive about nearby whales and if they had a towel for her.

Soon enough, Bella caught a glimpse of a person slowly creeping up towards her father. Her eyes widened as she reached for her sword behind her and started running towards the figure, which now was ready to give her father a good bye.

"Dad watch out! Behind you!" She yelled as she threw her knife at the figure, who now let go of the sword and let it drop to the ground. "Filho da puta..." She cussed in Portuguese as she then watched the attacking figure fade away into something else as her father figure faded away completely. The figure was her dad!

"Holy shit!" She yelled as she ran up to him and pulled the sword out from his abs, watching the blood slowly seep out. She was horrified.... Didn't she just stab the figure that was going to attack her father? Or maybe it had powers that let it run away and make her stab her father... either way she ended up hurting her dad badly and had to do something about it.

"Maribella you idiot!" He said as he placed his hands over his wound and slowly got up. Those words hurt Mary greatly, making tears slowly form at her eyes as her hands overed her mouth in astonishment.

"I-I'm so sorry dad... Foi sem querer..." She apologized, a tear rolling down her face as sh watched him get up and get off the ship and onto shore. He was probably going towards a place with something to tend his wound to. Even though nothing 'serious' happened, she was feeling terrible...

After that incident, Maribella would see occasional things that no one else would, which made her think her eyes were gifted and she could see some things no one else could. She would get into fights with other pirates and even mid-air through others' views, but to her it was all real. So real she even saw her own blood after a fight with 'mid aid'.

When she was 13 now, she was coming back towards the ship with some fruits. She walked inside humming happily and then saw a scene that stunned her greatly. She let go of everything in her dress and ran up to a figure laying down in the ground. Her father was dead.

"Pai! Pai! Are you okay?!" She yelled as she ran over to the limbless dead figure with blood surrounding it. She threw herself on the ground next to him and put his head on her knee, slowly messing with his hair. She observed the sword cuts all over his body, which was probably what killed him... Anger burned inside her as she felt rage building. Who dared to kill Maribella Monteiro's father? She didn't know it was Cervantes, the deadly pirata... She just couldn't believe it... At least she had some candy and gum with her at the moment and managed to get one and pop it onto her mouth and chewed it slowly... tasting various flavors of sadness as she did so.

She took over her fathers ship, claiming it as her own since she was the only daughter of the pirate. She cared for it her own way, and it was always in good shape. She learned how to steer it before her father dieing of course. She now decided since she had no parents to hold her down what-so-ever, she would do whatever she wanted. She ruined a few villages, killed a few people... but only when she was in deep depression and out of candy. Which gave her a nickname of ' Mary Depressed '.

She decided to go to the cursed city of Ostrheinsbur when she was 16, it seemed like a new adventure. She arrived there after a month or two of sailing her ship around. She was curious about what awaited her, sine she barely ever left her ship she didn't know much about anything going on... not even much about the famous soul edge itself.

Shitsuren (失恋)

Appearance: Zahira has dark skin and cropped, white hair that she pulls back into a stubby ponytail, with a red line, a powder made from some type of berry, running straight through her left eye, starting at her forehead and running down to right below her left eye, as a blue powder repeats the opposite pattern on the right side, starting at her chin and going to up to pass her right eye. When you look at her, you would probably observe her yellow eyes staring at nothing in particular, though perhaps the ground, or maybe the sky. You would also observe the yellow bangles around her neck and the red bracelet around her right wrist the shoulder bearing a tattoo of the symbol of her circus. You will perhaps then notice the short red vest that travels down to her waist, and the black, skintight strip of cloth beneath it that covers her chest. Lest your eyes travel to the waist, you would notice the black sash around her waist, where her rope dart is tied to her waist. Even lower, you might notice her red shorts with the blue lining, and perhaps even her brown ballet shoes, ribbons crisscrossing until they wound down to the shoes below.

Personality: If you noticed above, I said "maybe" you would notice something, and you would "perhaps" see something else. I said this because nobody hardly notices Zahira at all, as her silent, mute attitude often makes her easy to overlook. When asked a question, she generally makes some type of hand motion, or if she has to, will say a one or two word sentence. However, if you somehow get her to open up and get close to her, you might find her forming 4 or 5, or possibly even 6 word sentences, just for you.
Though some might consider her silence a weakness, Zahira would probably tell you, if you were close to her, that it was really the fact of how she was afraid of fire, and when faced with a problem that might harm her, she often opted to run away, and is hence more of a dodger than an attacker, meaning she isn't an extremely skilled swordswoman- swordsmanship is more her brothers kind of thing. However, due to her agility and speed, she's rather good, though certainly not strong.
"But what about your strengths?" You might ask. Well, then she would confide in you her expert acrobatic skills, and how she's generally extremely fast and agile, probably due to her "running away" habit.

Biography: Zahira was born in a small, ancient town on the bridge of crumbling to pieces. Her parents, extremely old fashioned, refused to leave the town, and caught a terrible disease that was spreading throughout it. Zahira ran away with her older brother and a few other people, some, including Zahira herself, who had only caught minor cases of the virus.
After many days of travel and near-death starvation, they reached a new, battling town, full to the brim with swordsmen of all shapes and sizes. To earn money to buy Zahira and some of the other sick escaped townsfolk's medicine, her brother, Zazu, fought in tournaments and street battles. After all of them had regained health, most of the townsfolk moved on, but Zazu, addicted to the thrill of the fight, stayed, and Zahira stayed with him. Soon, he heard of Soul Edge's wielder, and how any who beat him was sure to be named the best swordsman in the world. Zazu left the town, discouraging his sister from following him, and leaving her with his first weapon- a Chinese rope dart he had never named. As she cried herself to sleep that night in sorrow at their parting, she clutched the rope to her chest and named it Shitsuren- Broken Heart.
Zahira moved on to another town and made a living as an acrobat, performing dangerous tricks with Shitsuren, and sometimes even participating in battles similar to the ones her brother used to participate in. However, years later, she still has not heard from her beloved brother. Cursing Soul Edge, Zahira set out to Ostrheinsburg, where she would begin the search for her brother, and defeat Soul Edge for him.

Ok, holy shoot! 34 new e-mails?! gotta go and delete them... Well, how is the city? do the people look normal? Do I RP normally like a 16 year old female freak? Or does she need to be careful about blah-blah that might be lurking in the shadows?

Alrighty.

So, Ostrheinsburg is a cursed, deserted city. It has a river running past it, essentially separating it in two halves. There are many bridges connecting the two sides, but some are destroyed or in a bad state, rendering them unusable. There's a destroyed chapel and a big castle too, both are very important locations. Since it's old, there's also moss on the buildings and such.

The city is deserted, so there are no citizens and no animals. The only people there would be some of the already existing characters of the series, who would seek to destroy/gain Soul Edge's powers. You can find more info on them on the site linked in the first post.

Well, you RP like you would in a normal medieval RP while taking the Soul Calibur series' factors, such as an evil sword and so on.
