There is now a list of five different berries for you to choose from when feeding a Pokémon. If you know your games very well, you'd know that each one is a different type (spicy, sour, etc). How much experience the Pokémon gains from it depends on what their nature is. Ones that happily eat anything, however, always gain the same amount no matter what the berry is, but they do gain more than normal still. So it's still a great nature to have. This at least makes natures have more of a use and makes the interact page slightly more fun.
EDIT: I also removed the interact page completely. Now you do it all through the info page. Should make some things more easier. -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? Check out my website: randimg!

I think it's a good idea, but is there any way that instead of a drop down menu you can make all the berries different buttons? The logic being that if you're trying to click/warm/feed a bunch of eggs and pokemon at once it can slow you down by having to drop down instead of just clicking. Either way, it's a nice addition and I'm glad to see it
Also, ditto what the others are saying. It would be great to see the pokemon's nature before hand. These two ideas in combination would be great! -------------------- |

Wouldn't it be helpful to know what the nature is before feeding it? Maybe add what nature the Pokemon is to the feed page would help a tad.

I second the suggestion to add nature to the main creature page 'cos I'm definitely unable to keep them all in my head and will have to open info page for each to check it.
But in any case, nice addition! -------------------- |

I just wish we knew what the nature of the pokemon is before you feed them so it's not hit or miss :/

I agree with having buttons instead of a dropdown, because it'd be even more fun!!

I'm not disclosing the base numbers for anything. :P
Anyways, I added the Nature to the Party page too now. No Pokémon information has ever been on the interact page so I don't really want to add it there either. If you're just feeding other peoples, hey who cares what you give it, choose a random one. I'll think of a nice way to display buttons. -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? I'll think of a nice way to display buttons. It could be the sprite for the berry going across the bottom, underneath "Would you like to feed ...?" Then have a tiny "No thanks" button so that no one can see it. *shifty eyes* -------------------- Rest in peace my love. October 2nd 1983 - October 4th 2013 |

Awesome. Thanks. (: *begins cramming berries into her pokemon*
edit: I know the type of berry and nature of the pokemon affects the exp gained, but does it affect the happiness gain? Or does every berry give the usual 1 happiness point? This post has been edited by a m y: Apr 22 2009, 03:28 PM -------------------- |

I had to look it up the berry flavors, and now I guess I'll have to look up what natures like what food if I don't want to look at info pages. I'm not that familiar with the games, that I know those things off the top of my head.
I'm kind of neutral on the change. It doesn't really affect the fun level of the interaction page for me, and it could make getting experience from clicks on other forums a bit more of a challenge. On the other hand, perhaps making it more challenging is not a bad thing. -------------------- |

I kind of like this new change. However, I'm also liking the idea of multiple buttons to help clicking along.
Another thing I'd like to suggest is having what kind of food the Pokemon likes beside the Nature stat on the user page like on the info page. That would make things even easier. *nods* -------------------- GENERATION 30: The first time you see this, copy it into your signature on any forum and add 1 to the generation. It's kind of annoying, actually, because I never remember what nature goes with what flavor and what berry is what flavor. But that's just me, and other people seem to be enjoying it so rock on.

Well I think the idea is that if you choose the right berry you get 'boosted' experience, so I think technically you aren't loosing out on any exp, but I could be totally wrong on that XD

I think this is a great idea and all, but I dont really think its fair to all of the people who dont know which berry does what and stuff. Ohyeah, and I totally agree with the idea of adding the nature to the feeding page. Couldn't you say like, "This pokemon likes Rawst Berries" or something, though? I just dont think its fair to all the people who dont know.
Edit: Okay... I have a problem... Whenever I click on a berry, the info page comes up as the one when you say "No, let it starve" -------------------- |
