Johto! Especially since that was back before they went mega crazy with psychic legendaries. Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia and Celebi = enough psychic legendaries. Also I love Totodile, crocodiles ftw! <3

Johto. I've never played Sinnoh for obvious reasons, nor do I care to.

jhoto definitely.\
umbreon and espeon (my two favorite pokemon) were introduced there, putting it at an automatic number one for me. also, as i have never managed to catch suicune, entei, or raiku in kanto, i find jhoto is truly the only place that you can easily catch them. --------------------   |

I like Sinnoh a lot better than Johto, because its the only region you can get Leafeon and Glaceon and because it is the region where Staraptor was introduced.

Sinnoh has 9 legendaries (Phione, Rotom and Manphy are not legendaries.)
Johto has 6 legendaries. I'll take Sinnoh because I got a copy of the original Gold and the save game battery was dead. Johto indefinetly.
Johto was a major innovation in the pokemon world. It gave us the ability to call people. It created egg moves and breeding pokemon. It fused two regions It gave us day and night. It gave us Steel pokemon The pokemon were pretty awesome The starters were freakin awesome It was the first to introduce gender choices. what Hoenn did was just make the graphics better, and so did Sinnoh. Sinnoh only got the better things because it was made for the DS. And Johto has that nostalgaic feel to it. If one had played Gold and Silver when it first came out, they can't help but feel 10 years younger. And they usually enjoy every minute of it. But what Panlah said is true. I'm not to excited about HG and SS because it won't be just the awesomeness that is Johto. It will include Sinnoh too.

Johto's Pokémon were such a let down when I first played Gold and still are. Johto may have given me Porygon2, but I hate the starters, the legendaries, and most of the other Pokemon in the region. It was a major improvement from RBY game-wise, I'll give it that.

I would have to say that Cyndaquil is my favorite starter and the legendary beasts are my favorite legendaries. Johto is deffinitly my favorite.

Johto, even though it ruined Kanto, Sinnoh feels like a tacky vacation house (Less so in Platinum than Diamond/Pearl).

Definitely Johto for me.
Sinnoh bored me so much that I just finished Diamond I few months ago. I bought it when it first came out. I started Pokemon with RSE, and went back to play GSC, which gave me Umbreon, two regions, my favorite legendaries, and innovative features for that time. Sinnoh almost made me quit Pokemon, lol. -------------------- -
