I took a break for about a week of only pretty much just hatching eggs and clicking back, then SWSH start convinced me to do the last 40k clicks for DotW. Since i had a 6 year hiatus, i may be a while until I get another plate. Which I'm not very-- sad about. Meanwhile, just hatched a 160 IV Eevee in my first round of eggs. Pokehunt done lol

I'm kinda torn and not at the same time for having taken such a long hiatus but at the same time I had other interests going on, ect. Eevee hasn't hatched with good IVs and honestly I already finished a Zap plate, not really ready for round 2. We'll see... DotW isn't so bad save for the level whole party to 100 by other people's mercies haha. With the site being so slow on most days it's a real chore.

TBH, I don't really have many regrets about my long hiatus - same here about other interests going on then and still. I mainly come here now to mindlessly click when I'm thinking about some stuff/procrastinating, and/or now being a bit 'wow so many pokemon i dun have', but I'm not much in a hurry to catch up either. Just click click click from time to time.

I've taken several hiatuses here. I can't remember how long I took a forum hiatus for, but it was probably around 5 years. Sometimes I take 4 or 5 month hiatuses from this site every so often. I've been playing it rather consistently for the past year or two, though, ever since I got really into getting all the plates, memory drives, and combs.

Combs are murdering me haha...My brain power is saved for min maxing on MMOs and slogging through legal paperwork for NPOs. FML. Got a billion memories to collect too so I guess that's something to aim for. The forums are slow these days and it's kinda sad. :[
I'd love for my W. Vulpix pair to give me a shiny. All these years and more than 400 eggs...sigh. -------------------- |

Morning Everyone!
I, also, chose the solo fishy wishy hunt. 166 eggs later and no end in sight... shiny hunts detest me. Ugh! On the brighter side, my wild electric Pokemon is beginning to feel the love. Nearly 300 berries down and only 100 some more to go. So, hoping that someone notices him alongside the road (so to speak)... here he is, making his first appearance... He's got a bit of a sweet tooth so... And now... back to our regularly scheduled program of shiny fishy hunting. I see some of us have been lucky. I'm hoping to join your ranks before the timer goes off. -------------------- |

How is everyone's Trinket collecting going? I've currently got 3,988/4,133. I suppose I could theoretically fill in a few of those gaps with ease considering I've got 91 unopened Trinket boxes just sitting around currently [and currently got 126 Trinkets shoved into the Market, but no one seems to want to accept my offers], but I like to wait so I can get Monthly/Holiday ones. In regards to the Pokedex - I honestly don't care about trying to complete it by this point, even though half of what I'm missing is just stuff I need to evolve. I'm barely online for more than an hour every few days now, I don't have the same energy as when I first joined back in 2014. Also, this SWSH isn't going well for me; I've only managed to find and hatch 31 Eggs. On another topic, happy early-ish 1 year anniversary to the dating simulator Dream Daddy! It was initially released on July 20th. Seems like all of the fandom died a quick death, considering that the hype was over within a few weeks, all because of an unreleased ending that made everyone mad. Guess I'm one of the only people left around these parts... -------------------- |

I started getting better at getting them when I kept a record of all the elite four members' teams so that if I lost I could make it back there pretty easily. Bit by bit I got through each of them. The rematch with Blue was insane but I finally beat that one last. I also gradually stockpiled a good set of battle tower mons through shiny hunting and having the locking high IV pokemon to the party setting on. Gave them some good items and movesets (after years of not realizing I could do that... lol) -------------------- |

@Gigadweeb: Trust me I get other shinies that I hunt in the meantime faster than my pair will ever breed one. It's sad honestly.
@Cytosine: Been slowly trying to work on my Battle Tower stuff in between hunts, just getting high IV pokemon is a chore haha...Not even remotely close atm. 2 more days until lockout's done... Speak of the f'ing devil: I got my shiny. Ironically near the time frame when I got Houdini years ago. This post has been edited by Natsume Reiko: Jul 19 2018, 11:16 PM -------------------- |

Does anyone want to get rid of Rarity 1-5 Trinkets in exchange for Sky Gifts?
I want to make more Sky Gifts! I'll send you the ones I can, of course! (I can only send 1 to you after i give 5 to random people) Offer only good for the first person who PMs me, I can only keep track of so many things! We would need to have each other added on our PalPads for this to work, so you need to be able to add me. I can easily add you, I've got lots of space. Edit: Found a partner! 2nd Edit: I was mistaken. Speaking of the Combs, I honestly just gave up on collecting them after a certain point. It's probably not a great idea, but I don't really bother with the Battle Tower anymore.
Also, so this post isn't too short: what do you guys think of the Pokemon Fit plushies? https://www.pokemon.co.jp/info/2018/07/180706_p02.html I'm personally excited for Kantonian Persian, since this is the first time it'll be getting an official plush that isn't that one prototype..which the current owner doesn't want to sell, for understandable reasons. And this is the first time things like Sandslash and the Hitmons will be getting plush merchandise as well, I think. -------------------- |

So my SWSH is a total drag and I'm not really motivated to try right now. Combs...I don't wanna think of them. Please prize point them or something. I really don't like the battle tower. -------------------- |

No matter how they try to interpret Moltres as a design, I feel like it'll inevitably come out looking funky. And this month's SWSH hasn't been working out too well for me either, only hatched 51 Eggs so far. -------------------- |

Too stressed with work and fighting city council at all turns right now to really relax. What does year of the dog voucher give? Hello! I've been kind of innactive on GPX lately, even though I'm always logged in, because I'm back at shiny hunting on the main games, namely Ultra Moon and Y (Friend Safari). This week I caught a bunch of shinies, so I'm pretty happy Now Dhelmise could present me with its shininess on here lol.
I'm s.o.s chain hunting Riolu right now and let me tell you, what a hassle. 409 calls and still nothing, this dog must hate me :I Oh, I've got a double shiny Shiinotic I can offer. SuMo/USUM only. Does someone want it? -------------------- •TRINKET TRADING PLACE•||FC: 4055-4266-5767 POKEMON SHINY HUNTER//XY; ORAS; SUMO; USUM Spoiler (click to show ) |

@Natsume Reiko: I think the year of the dog voucher gives the Novelty egg of Beeark.
I don't know for sure, though, and you can find the egg easily in the Shelter. Or, at least, I always see one. -------------------- Avatar by Cycloneblaze at Cycloneshop II Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/eevee64 Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/Baymax |

Oh okay. Yeah I think I know what you're talking about. Didn't know since I missed the voucher for that. Sadly I don't have enough points to get voucher borne novelties though it'd be nice haha. -------------------- |

Bleh, only one more month before I return to university. This coming semester, I have a class that doesn't get out until 10 at night. I'm hoping I'll have my driver's license by then so I don't have to depend on the buses.
