Images (click to show ) Here's a link if the spoiler is broken still. http://serebii.net/corocoro10151.jpg Several new Zygarde forms have been announced, and will debut in the anime. The small creature seen in the Hoopa movie is the Cell form. The dog is 10% form. The regular dragon is 50% form. The mech is Perfect form. Well, it seems pretty safe to say that the deluxe game will be called Z now, because the new anime series is called "XY and Z". What do you guys think? I was close to panning Perfect form until someone compared it to Big O. XD Greninja also has a new form, called Ash form. http://serebii.net/corocoro10152.jpg This post has been edited by ShrapnelStars: Sep 12 2015, 01:54 AM -------------------- |

Pokémon Z confirmed?
This is good, though! Months of speculation was spot on. I love the fact that one can immediately compare 'Perfect Zygarde' to Perfect Cell from DBZ. Seems like it's gonna be the meme of the month in the same way 'hoenn confirmed' blew up tumblr in May of last year. -------------------- Software engineer by day. I heard about this on the chat and thanks to Master_Element noticed a similarity of the formes to Loki's children in Norse mythology:
Zygarde 10% Forme corresponds to Fenrir (a giant wolf that will battle with Odin at Ragnarok, and defeats him) Zygarde 50% Forme corresponds to Jormungandr/Nidhoggr (the Midgard Serpent, who fights and loses to Thor on Ragnarok but ends up defeating Thor as well due to its poison/the dragon/snake/wyrm that resides at the bottom of Yggdrasil and gnaws on its roots) Zygarde Complete Forme corresponds to Hel (the Norse goddess of the underworld) Since the Mortality Trio is based on Norse mythology, it makes sense. (Xerneas is based on Eikthymir and Yveltal on various figures. Bulbapedia lists Hraesvelgr, Vethrfolnir, and the unnamed eagle at the top of Yggdrasil as possibilities.) Either way, as a mythology buff, I find this connection to be rather fascinating. EDIT: Added some information on the mythological figures that the formes correspond to. ITS name is SQUISHY and IT will be having a good time with EUREKA.
My Celestia does that bother me. I have a headcanon that the Zygarde Core is a GUY who speaks in squeaks and not those petty Luma noises, and he'll be travelling with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. -------------------- This is funny. (click to show ) |
