Caution word: pet illness/death

A week ago, Darth Krytie's cat, Mochi, needed emergency urinary blockage surgery, which was very expensive.

Despite a successful surgery, and a recovery that had her hopeful she could take him home a couple of days later, his condition suddenly grew worse and he had to be euthanized. She was able to say goodbye to him.

This left her with a lot of credit card debt, $2,700 all in. She is prepared to try and pay it off over the next 12 months, but we all love Darth Krytie and mourn with her, and want to do what we can to help her.

All "Plus Credit" and ad money for March will be given to her to pay off some of that debt.

Nothing is required or expected from the community, however I wanted to be sure everyone knows the situation and knows what their money will be put towards if credits are purchased in March.

Much love to Darth Krytie and her family, and may Mochi rest in peace. ❤️

Really sorry to hear about Mochi. She looks like a wonderful cat.

Credit card debt is killer, even if you're prepared for it, so hopefully we can put enough together to at least put a dent in it.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your cat.

I appreciate that the community has an opportunity to assist in clearing up at least some of the resulting financial costs.

I'm very sorry Krytie for your lost cat mochi losses are hard to handle and I'd understand because I've had losses myself and It was the fact I accidentally released a shiny magnezone and I've been mourning my accidental release

I'm so sorry for your loss Darth Krytie. It's always hard to say goodbye to a family member but he knows that you loved him. You'll always have the memories you shared together.

(((( hugs )))) I'm so sorry for your loss, Dark Krytie. I understand how hard the loss of a pet can be. They are our furry children and there is nothing we wouldn't try to help them. Hang in there and may you find comfort in knowing how well Mochi loved you and appreciated everything you did for him. I'm certain he is frolicking on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge and will greet you in your dreams.

Krytie is a core part of this community and I would be more than happy to donate to help alleviate any stress on their shoulders. I'll be doing this next week when I have the means.

I have been on here for 10 plus years. and never spent a cent. I keep ads on now because they dont bother me. but... with everything going on. I have kept my job and been able to save so much money even while going to college and helping my parents pay all the bills in the house. I will finally put money into this site because I just got a puppy a few months ago and right away he had an allergic reaction and he is doing well now, but at the time I threw $2000 for him to be ok. they asked me if I wanted to opt for respiratory aid if he went into failure and that it would cost another $200-$400. I would have thrown all the money I had. I would go into debt for the rest of my life for my fur baby. I love this site. I want to help because no one should have to deal with debt after the loss of their pet. that just adds insult to grieving.

Thanks to everyone's generosity, you all raised $800! That's a new record for donation drives!

After ads, and me throwing in my own donation, we were able to gift Darth Krytie $1,000 to put towards her vet bill.

Thank you all so much for a wonderful March! We sure had a lot of Plus days.
