Violet grabbed hold of the rails, and slid down, landing hard on the platform at the bottom. She waited, hoping that he would get down the ladder with few complications. After all, she didn't want to be responsible for someone's injury.
Down below she heard shouting, and saw flashes of red. Craning her head, she shouted up to Trace. "We need to hurry up! I think someone's coming after us!"

[Wildivlax]

Trace started running as fast as he could. He triped and fell down the ladder. He landed on is stomach and went out cold. "Ugh..."

Violet frowned and ran over to him, trying to help him up. She panicked slightly, before an idea popped to mind. Pulling out her Pokeball she called Storm back out, and helped get Trace up onto his back, before running alongside him towards the nearest Pokemon Center. Even if they did try to follow them, no human would ever try to step into the path of a running Rhyhorn.
It took awhile to get there, and a few stops to keep Trace from falling, but soon they made it to the Pokemon Center. She removed him from Storm's back before calling him back into his Pokeball, helping him inside.

"Ugh... Where am I? Ugh..." Trace asked, starting to wake up, but going in and out of consionous.

"Hey, take it easy." Violet replied, sitting on one of the chairs, having placed him laying down. "Our Pokemon are getting treated as we speak."
Leaning back into the couch and sighed. "Anyways that was a good battle, apart from breaking the roof and all. We should try again some other time." Violet grinned.
Standing up, she walked over to the Nurse to inquire about their Pokemon's conditions.

He heard what Violet said. "Thanks... Ugh..."

A few minutes later, Violet returned with a pack of ice, and placed it in Trace's hand, before placing his three Pokeballs on the table. She placed hers back in her pocket, not wanting to get them mixed up. However as she began to place her last one in, it popped open, and Tikal appeared beside her, the Dratini making a cooing noise. She smiled, rubbing her head and watching the Pokemon rest beside her affectionately.

"Could you please let Zex out? Ugh..." Trace asked Violet hoping she would hear. He heard her let out Tikal and he wanted his Dratini out too.

Violet nodded. "Of course."
Glancing over to his Pokeballs on the table, she piked up the one containing Zex, and pressed the button. In a bright flash of light, the serpentine form of the Pokemon appearing. She smiled, seeing Zex to be happy around her trainer, and watched as Tikal moved from her side to go examine the same species Pokemon. Violet figured it was because Tikal hadn't been around her own kind that long, so a chance like this would not be common.

"Thanks... Ugh..." Trace grumbled.

Violet laid back happily in the couch, deciding it'd be best to get some rest for now. Trace would probably be fine after he slept and stopped groaning, and all their Pokemon were in good health now. Opening an eye, she watched as Tikal leaped onto her lap again, and curling up close dozed off to rest.

Zex flew over to Trace's other pokeballs and let the others out. They then went over to Trace and comforted him as much as they could. "Ugh... Thanks guys..." He started to snore, signaling he fell asleep.

Violet decided to let the others out as well, since Tikal was already comfortable. In bright flashes of light, Cinder and Storm were released, Storm lowering himself by her legs, and Cinder curling up by her side, taking care of the flame on his tail. Watching the Pokemon Center wind down, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

A couple hours later, Trace woke up and felt much better. "Hey guys, wake up," he whispered to Zex, Vuk, and Dew, shaking them a little.

Hey guys, I'm new! rt117 just said I could join. My character has just arrived in Noverus, and, well, here it goes...

The mountain path stretched on for a mile. It was beginning to get dark. A flock of Murkrow flew above, their loud caws seemed to echo across the mountains. The trees were now casting tall shadows against the ground as Daniel trudged on, wondering how much farther they still are from Noverus. He was beginning to think he made a bad decision in leaving the Rustboro Academy.

King and Queen floated around him, as if they were cheering him on.

"Thanks, you guys," Daniel said, catching his breath. "But I think we might need to camp out for the night."

He walked a little bit further down the path until he reached a clearing by a cliff. "This looks perfect."

King drifted towards the cliff. "Shuppet!" it cried excitedly, calling its master, who then walked and looked at what his Pokemon was trying to show him. From the cliff, he could see a rather odd embankment surrounded by a river which branches off in two directions and joins again further down. "Shuppet!"

"You're right! We are in Noverus! Good job, King!" Daniel said as he gained new energy to go down the few miles into Noverus. Queen rolled its eyes. "Come on, Queen. You were awesome, too!"

The three started the walk downhill into one of the bridges that lead to the city of Noverus. Daniel has suddenly forgotten all about the trek from Rustboro and led his party happily on the way.

Night was falling silently as Daniel, King and Queen made their way down the mountain and on to Noverus. Suddenly, Queen stopped. Without warning, she bit Daniel's hair from behind, pulling him slightly backwards.

"Hey!" the trainer yelped, more in surprise than pain. "What's the big idea?" Queen flitted restlessly in front of Daniel. "What's the matter, Queenie?" King looked at Queen dully. "What's wrong?"

Suddenly, they heard footsteps from further down. The trio jumped behind the nearest bush to hide as two Magma Grunts walked past. The Grunts paused for a moment in front of Daniel's hiding place, who was trying his best not to make a noise. Then, the Grunts moved on.

"That was close! Good job, Queenie!"

The Misdreavus did a 360 in mid-air, proud of itself. King gave a soft groan which sounded like "Pfft."

As soon as the Grunts were out of sight, Daniel stood up and looked around him. He took a pair of binoculars from his backpack and surveyed the immediate area. There were several Magma Grunts patrolling the bridge and the roads which lead to Noverus' entrance.

"Looks like this is going to be a lot harder than we planned, guys."

So this is kind of just a prologue. You guys can continue with your story, I will connect to you next post.

ooc: Daniel, do you think you can make your way into the Pokemon Center? That's where we are right now.

Violet was still fast asleep on the couch, not having realized Trace was awake. Tikal opened her eyes to see the other trainer awake, and began to tug on Violet's shirt. She mumbled lightly, leaning forwards and almost knocking the Dratini off her lap. "Hm? Oh... is it morning already?"
Picking Tikal up and allowing her to slither onto her shoulders, she stood up and stretched, nearly tripping over Storm in the process.

Night time covered the city outskirts in heavy darkness, giving much needed cover to Daniel, who has been racking his head for a way in all this time. The bridge to Noverus was guarded by two Team Magma Grunts, and although his Pokemon were positive they can battle, he didn’t trust his own abilities as a trainer.

Daniel could hear Kricketots singing loudly from the nearby mountain forest. The moon’s reflection shone above the surface of the river around the city, slightly blurred by the motion of the water’s flow. He looked at it, mesmerized by its silvery radiance. Shuppet poked him with its point-tipped head, snapping him back to reality. They still had to find a way to cross the river somehow.

The river.

“That’s it!” Daniel exclaimed, and with one look at the slow moving body of water surrounding the city, he realized what he can do. “I’ll swim across to the city!”

He took two Ultra Balls from his backpack and faced King and Queen who, at the sight of the balls, slowly backed away from him. The two, having never been properly captured, were never kept inside a pokeball before and were never used to traveling inside one.

“Come on, you guys,” the trainer urged. “Get inside your balls, please. I need to swim across the river, and you can’t float around me or we’ll be spotted.”

Just then, a huge explosion shook the ground, throwing him off balance.

A flock of Pidgey and Taillow flew away from the forest canopy, frightened by the sudden blast. He quickly stood up and searched around him for where the noise came from.

A dense white smoke was now coming from the bridge where the Magma guards were on post. Shouts and beams of light suddenly appeared from the nearby woods, the roving guards suddenly rushing to the site of the attack. Daniel hid again deeper behind the bushes while King and Queen scrambled to get next to him. He peered through the interlocking branches and leaves and saw Team Magma preparing for battle against a group of Team Aqua Grunts who were apparently behind the explosion.

Trainers summoned their Pokemon and yelled attacks. A pack of Houndours appeared in a flash of red light, their snarling mouths burning as they leapt into the air and landed on the ground. A giant Quagsire, belonging to an Aqua member, surfaced from under the river and began using Mud Slap on every enemy it can attack, human and Pokemon alike.

Daniel felt the ground shudder as Team Magma’s Geodudes and Gravelers Rolled Out onto the invading Aqua ranks. The water type trainers ordered their Poliwhirl and Corphish to Water Gun the approaching Pokemon in retaliation.

“Guys, I know you dislike getting inside a pokeball, but we need to get out of here fast,” Daniel explained to King and Queen who looked at him intently. “I can’t protect you from all this unless you’re in your pokeball. I promise I’ll let you out as soon as we get across the river, please.”

Queen gave her trainer a slight nod and Daniel clicked the ball’s button and a beam of red light transported the Misdreavus into its confines. He tried to do the same to King, but the Shuppet was adamant about staying out.
“King, please. I don’t want you to get hurt,” pleaded the trainer.

With hesitation, King allowed himself to be beamed inside his pokeball.

As soon as his Pokemon were safe inside his pack, Daniel made a run for the far end of the river and jumped into the water. He swam against the currents as the battle began to escalate at the bridge. He felt his limbs grow heavier with every stroke as he fought his way through the river’s flow. The river wasn’t forceful, but it was vast. It took all of his strength to finish the crossing and as he reached the opposite shore, Daniel fainted on the mud.

A few hours later, he woke up to a Wingull pecking his nose.

“Where am I?” he muttered, frightening the Wingull which flew away. He staggered as he got to his feet. The sun was rising from the east, and the skyline of Noverus’ decrepit Poor District was visible against the bright blue sky. He searched his wet backpack for King and Queen’s pokeballs and released them.

Queen gave a slight shiver as she materialized in front of Daniel. She looked at her trainer and immediately floated her way to him. King looked disgusted from being inside the pokeball as well, but seeing Daniel struggle standing up, softened his heart as he ran to aid him.

“I’m fine, guys. Thank you,” managed Daniel, still feeling a bit weak. He rummaged through the rest of his backpack and was disappointed to see his PokeNav wet and dysfunctional. “We need to go to the nearest Pokemon Center,” he decided.

With a slight wobble, he walked up the shore and deeper into the mysterious city. He found it odd that there was almost nobody around. The streets looked deserted, yet Daniel could feel he was being watched through holes and cracks of the boarded windows. Fortunately, it didn’t take him long to reach a building with the obvious Pokemon Center sign barely attached.

He saw nobody in the reception area and was about to leave when he heard scuffles from a nearby room. Carefully, he approached the sound while King and Queen followed closely behind. He peered through the open door and saw a girl with short purple hair getting up from the couch, signs of sleep still lingering on her beautiful blue eyes. The Dratini wrapped around her shoulders gave the girl a playful lick, while a Charmander and a Rhyhorn slept peacefully on the floor.

Violet mumbled something about needing more sleep, and sank back into the couch. She rubbed Tikal's head with a warm smile, before rubbing her eyes to try and further awaken her senses. She looked up and blunk, seeing she and Trace weren't the only one's in here. "Hello? she called to the other stranger, trying to pull herself up once again after having sat back down. Storm and Cinder began to stir as well, having been awoken by their trainers voice. Tikal remained on her shoulder, not seeming ready to leave her position any time soon.
"I'm Violet, and these are my Pokemon: Tikal, Storm and Cinder." she replied, giving him a warm smile before looking over at Trace and his Pokemon, who were still fast asleep. "That's Trace and his Pokemon: Vuk, Zex and Dew." she told him, motioning then to his Chimchar, Dratini and Porygon

The first part is kinda like a "Meanwhile..." part of the story. Do you want to discuss with me how the plot of "Looking for Aid" is gonna turn out? I am seriously making it up as I go along. lol

He’s been looking out the window all morning. Yesterday’s meetings didn’t go too well at all for Congressman Daniel Morgan. The Goldenrod Transportation Bureau was demanding an increase in budget as the Magnet Train was constantly being harassed by vandals. He has already asked the city gym leader, Whitney, to look into the matter as he had more political problems to attend to, for example, the union strikes about allegations of Team Rocket activity in a secret basement under the Department Store. He certainly didn’t need any more on his plate. But as fate would have it, he was about to be battered with additional problems.

The Noctowl perched in his office gave a nervous squeak as his telephone rang.

“Sir, there’s a Roxanne from Rustboro Academy on the line for you,” his secretary’s cool voice said on the other line. “She says it’s urgent.”

“Put her through, Steph.”

“Mr. Morgan,” Roxanne started. “I’m Roxanne, Daniel’s teacher from Rustboro Academy. I’m afraid we have some bad news about your son.”

“Is Daniel failing his subjects?”

“No, sir. I assure you, Daniel’s current standing is more than satisfactory, but that is not why I called. I’m sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but...”

“What’s going on?”

“Daniel has been reported missing, sir.”

The girl named Violet smiled and looked at him, apparently waiting for a reply, but Daniel somehow found it difficult to open his mouth at that moment. How hard could it be? She just introduced herself to you and all you have to say is a simple “Hi” back, he thought. Her bright blue eyes looked at him expectantly. Finally, he opened his mouth.

“Hi. I’mDanielandI’mlookingforNurseJoydoyouknowwheresheis?” Daniel blurted, his heart struggling to jump out of his chest.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t quite get that,” Violet said, chuckling. The Charmander and the Rhyhorn woke up and looked up at the new kid standing frozen at the door. The seconds seemed to stretch on forever, extending the awkwardness Daniel suddenly felt. King and Queen looked at him, half-laughing at their master’s ineptness.

“Shush up, you two,” he told them under his breath. The Pokemon tried to stifle their chortle but the effort to do so made it even more obvious, making their trainer blush with slight embarrassment.

Finally, with a deep breath, he answered slowly, “M-my name is D-daniel.” See, that wasn’t so hard, he thought to himself. Now be polite and return her greeting. “G-good morning. Pleased to m-meet you, Violet. And Tikal. And Storm. And Cinder.”

“Pleased to meet you too, D-daniel,” she joked.

He gave her a lopsided smile and asked, “Uh, Violet? My PokeNav is broken and it’s absolutely important that I make a phone call. Is there a telephone here that I could use?”

“I’m not sure if the telephones are working. Don’t ask, long story. Why don’t we just wait for Nurse Joy and ask her? She’ll be here in a minute. Come on, have a seat.”

Daniel shuddered at her invitation. “N-next to you?”

“Anywhere on the couch would be great, D-daniel,” laughed Violet. “You’re not from around here, are you?”

“How can you tell?” Daniel suddenly realized he’s wearing his Rustboro Academy uniform. “Never mind.”

He walked up to the couch and took a seat, carefully avoiding to sit too close to the girl. King and Queen floated behind him, still giggling at their master’s violently red face.

“These are my friends, King and Queen,” he said, pointing to the Shuppet and Misdreavus who were looking quite amused at the situation. “Say hello, guys.” The two Pokemon drifted their way in front of Violet and, despite being suspended in mid-air, gave her what appears to be a well-practiced curtsy. Storm and Cinder stood up, threatened by the strangers who were now too close to their trainer. “It’s okay, King and Queen are quite friendly,” Daniel reassured. “Well, except probably King.”

The Shuppet quickly flew next to Daniel’s head and gave him a rather painful poke with the tip on its head, much to the laughter of everybody in the room. Daniel blushed even more but the sound of everybody laughing seemed to make Daniel more at ease and he allowed himself the pleasure of laughing as well. Maybe going to Noverus wasn’t such a bad idea after all, he thought.
