Hasn't anyone heard her interviews on the news? This woman isn't mentally right. . . they had asked her many common sense questions that she couldn't answer. I'm not trying to just put insults on her, I think she really is mildly mentally retarded.

Pretty soon she will have her own money for these kids. She is having her own show aired on tv sometime soon. That will pay her loads of cash. Just like John and Kate. Resorting to tv in order to help care for all these kids.

I also think her children will eventually be taken. She can't even spend one hour with each child she has so many. If she did that would be 16 hours a day just playing/interacting/ect with her kids. Every child needs attention and one hour a day doesn't really cut it if she even COULD spend one hour.



I agree with most. If you can't afford them, don't have them. simple as that.

I think it should be a crime to have more than two children per family seeing as how overpopulated America is already. Or at least tax them double for three kids triple for four and so on. The media over glamourizes having a baby and I feel that's why so many women in America just want to keep having another mouth to feed.

Perhaps America should stop allowing people to immigrate before punishing its own people by putting a "child limit" on like China has.. we can all see how well that's going.

Believe it or not, but some people have kids because they actually like... you know.. having kids?. Media over glamorizes? Try watching Knocked Up, 9 Months or any other "We're having a baby" movie.. not so glamorized. Also, if anyone in breeding age thinks it's all fun and fanfare then they're idiots that should be castrated immediately xD

All anyone needs to do is look up Labor videos and all that built up glamor goes riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight out the window. You'd may as well say 2 girls 1 cup is glamorous.

Octo-mum needs a bullet between the eyes. She doesn't even have a good support system set up to look after the babies. How is she going to be able to spend quality time with each child? She won't know her kids one on one, they'll just be a mass of squirming pinkness.

Each time I hear about her, I just think she planned to go ahead with them to make money from their fame. Never mind that she risked them all.

Talk about putting all of your eggs in one basket. get it? xD

knocked up, and other movies as such, did seem to make getting pregnant look bad in the beginning, but at the end of almost ALL big hit movies like that, the two people usually fall in love with eachother and spend happy lives with their love child. so the media DOES glamourize pregnancy. and unfortunately people in school arent required to witness a child being born in health class or sex-ed anymore because all the stupid over-sensative parents find it "disgusting" and think that kids at that age shouldnt know about all that stuff. cuz trust me, if we take a room full of kids and make them watch a live birth, they wont wanna have a kid for decades, lol. so thats a fail on the parents side.

Honestly adults are stupid and most of them are too lazy to raise their kids right, I don't see how one woman is going to raise 14 children (I hate it when they call her super mum )

Aren't there several books out about that happening? Most of them are stories about the 3rd child in the family having to flee from a murderous military. I agree, something should be done, but maybe not that extreme...especially in the tough economic times we're in right now.

Maybe her children need to be given away to couples who can't concieve themselves.

That would be a good thing to do. Some people can't conceive children because they're infertile. That would be a really nice thing to do, actually.

But on topic of the post, this woman is completely... I don't even know what word to use. She shouldn't be able to keep her children. The donations from charities I understand, but tax payers shouldn't have to suffer because she's insensitive and stupid.

I say stop supplying her with money, and let her do this on her own.
Let her taste her own decision.

most people know that alot of the comical situations in the films cant happen, like being in the middle of an earthquake and saving your bong only (knocked up), unfortunately people do tend to beleive in the whole HAPPY ENDING parts.

and although some movies like knocked up are more comical then real, movies like Juno (i hated that movie SO FREAKIN MUCH), although still comical, that entire movie is 100% possible, and they glorified the girl in that movie for getting pregnant, making it out to seem like its perfectly main stream and normal to get pregnant as a teen, and then made her seem like a strong, brave, and responsible person (*cough* STUPID *cough*) for giving up her baby for adoption. and i do know plenty of people who felt like having a kid after watching that movie. i know you said that people who think that way dont deserve to breed, and your absolutely right, but there ALOT of stupid people in the world and no ones getting then to stop doing it with eachother.

I think she figured out how to work the system. And I'm annoyed, yeah, but to be perfectly honest, it just shows how many flaws there are within the system. I think she should be getting stuff like FoodStamps and WIC and such, but it all just shows there needs to be an uncrossable line or limits so that other people won't do the same.

And as for charities, if they want to donate to her, why not? =P We can't do much, but if they were SMARTER, they would donate to someone NEEDIER like... The Homeless? Or something?
