This group is for anyone who:
1. Absolutely loves certain trinkets and wishes to "collect 'em all" We will help each other with mass collecting these trinkets and reach our goals
2. Is a newcomer and wants to get their collection started by getting trinkets not of their affinity.

Rules:
1. All forum rules apply
2. You may list up to 10 trinkets at a time for people to gift to you
3. Chatting about trinkets and Gpx+ life in general is acceptable, but please use the forms for posting any updates
4. Be respectful of other people, do not make fun of them in any way for trinkets they collect
5. Only Rarities 1-5 may be freely asked for
6. If you are a new trinket collector, you must have less than 200 unique trinkets
7. If you are a new trinket collector, please do not request trinkets your affinity can get, be patient, do not harass anyone if they do not give you a trinket, and remember to thank anyone who does
8. For every 25 trinkets gifted to a mass collector and 50 gifted to a newcomer, you will earn 1 point. Points can be put towards rarity 5-8 trinkets you want to collect, if/as they are available. Both the Gifter and Giftee must post their forms for you to be credited. If you gift someone's inactive trinkets, it will not count either
9. Rules may change or be added to as the group grows or problems arise that need adjustments


Point System:
Rarity 5 - 100 points
Rarity 6 - 300 points
Rarity 7 - 500 points
Rarity 8 - 800 points

It's a crying shame....as much as I adore trinkets and the groups of such, I only have 12 trinkets left to get.

Instead, Key, do you think you could smack my name up as a go-to for trinket-gifting? It's most of what I'm capable of doing now.

@ Keyda: I'll probably post updated forms once a week if that's alright? I have a lot of dupes for gifting, and I receive Fancy Glasses on a somewhat regular basis, so a near-daily update would get tiring for me. Rest assured I will keep track of everything I send out and receive. On that note, so I can remember everything:

Velocity, I listed the rules as being you can only have rarity 1-4 on your list, does anyone think I should up it to rarity 5? I wasn't sure how "easy" it was to gift rarity 5 freely but if others feel it is, I can mend that rule.

I'm very sorry for accidentally breaking the rules.

If you'd like I can change my Active Trinket to the Mew Mask which is Rarity 1. And as for changing the rule to rarity 1-5 it's totally up to you. The last thing I want to do is impose a rule change on the group.

i just want everything once.
I am Malachite myself so i would be gratefull for anything my affinity can't get.

Velocity I dont mind suggestions or opinions at all. That's why I posed the question. I want the group to be cpmetwly interactive and a place to hang out, so please let me know of you think something could be improved or not. I think I might be spending too much time at my job to say it that way lol

Dolphine the group is specifically for hoarding trinkets. There is the trinket tower if your looking to complete sets. I haven't figured out a way to do that kind of thing here without copying the group entirely yet.

I think it would be a good idea to add R5 trinkets. Not just for my personal collection, but also because you can't use them for Sky Gifts. R5 trinkets tend to be the ones I just don't know what to do with.

I'll get to gifting once one of the two people I have on my Pal Pad for Social network get their achievement.

And now that I've used the forms for the first time, I must say it's a bit confusing. Do we really need a form for sending and getting gifts? That would just mean the same update is posted twice, and I didn't even know about the "I got trinkets" forum until now so should I have posted those too...? Don't know, it just doesn't make sense to me.
And I'm already having trouble finding the hoard forms so I know what I need to gift people, and if we keep posting updates in a new form for higher numbers too, we'll end up with a thread full of forms to sift through if we want to find out what members are looking for. Don't know about anyone else, but I don't really have the time for that.

So here's a few suggestions:
1. Put the trinkets people are looking for in one easy to find post. (This would make it impossible for users to update the numbers themselves though.)
2. Only use one form for gifts.
3. Maybe get rid of the numbers altogether? I'm not sure if it really matters how many trinkets we already have if we're hoarding. Would it be enough if we just say how many we're looking for and tell everyone when we're done?

@Manah: I agree. Keyda should simplify it to one form. For that matter, we could just put our forms in our signatures... And I don't think we should get rid of the numbers. Besides, no one who has joined this group so far has put a limit on how many of a certain trinket they want.

If we put it in our signatures, we still have to go through each member individually. It's a bit easier, but not that much.

And I was talking about the numbers we already have. If I'm hoarding unlimited Model Kits, does it make a difference if I have 676 or 682 and do I really need to flood the thread with forms to update that? No matter how many I already own, I'm still looking for all the kits in the world.^^

Manah, I am putting everyone's Grotto in the second post, I had a crazy weekend so didn't have a moment to sit down and focus to update that post with the new people. One place for everything

Just to explain the reasoning behind so many forms: I had intended for both people to post to know that they are active and still collecting the trinkets, it's not really fair to give to someone without them giving back in return, whether or not it's to you or somoene else in the group. I put the number of trinkets each person has because that's the point of the group and I think that it is fun to see how big someone's collection is. I also intended to give prizes periodically to those who contribute a lot or reach their goals, or who has the most of their trinket etc etc.

I could do one of two things:
Just have one form that the person who gifts uses when they gift something, and update the numbers myself, since it is simple addition.

Have one form that the person who receives the gifts uses when they get gifted something and has a spot for putting their new total.

If people obtain trinkets on their own, you can either post or put the numbers in your signature and when I see the numbers don't match, I can update accordingly. Does someone have a suggestion about this?

I will accept rarity 5 trinkets for hoarding as well. I will update the rules accordingly

Ah okay.

Makes sense, I didn't think of it as an activity check. Now I'm not quite sure anymore. xD Personally, I still think it's a bit too much, but I see the point.
Now, which form to keep? Since you said you want to be sure people are active, it would probably be better to go with the trinkets received form. And if someone gives trinket to another user and they don't post their form, the gifter can inform you about their inactivity (after giving them some time, of course). However, II'm not sure if I'll always remember to post my gifts here. @_@

In my opinion, the form that states you've had your collection added to is unnecessary. It's far easier to make a post in the club to confirm who has gifted what to you rather than submit a new form for each person.
