I've just updated the forum rules as well as the pinned signature guidelines thread in this section with the following:
QUOTE -GPXPlus Pokémon(/eggs) in signatures- You are only allowed up to 12 GPXPlus Pokémon images in your signature. If you use the party image code, it automatically counts as 6 separate images. This means you can have up to 12 single images -or- up to 6 single images + 1 party image -or- 2 party images. Why are we doing this now? Because people seem to be taking advantage of the party image codes to put as many in their signature as possible, whether it's to help out friends or just 'trading' signature space with other users, and frankly it's gotten out of hand. You have till the end of the week, the midnight ending this Saturday (August 28th, EST), to make sure your signature follows these new guidelines. So basically, update your signature if need be before this Sunday rolls around, or a mod will go ahead and remove them for you or erase your entire signature. Be sure to point your friends to this thread if they're currently hosting multiple users' images in their signature. Also, sometime in the near future I will be adding some special code to the Edit Signature page that will make sure you can't save your signature if it contains more GPXPlus images than is allowed. Any Pokémon icon/images that don't use the image URL we give you on your codes page do not count against this limit, because they do not net you any views. So you can still put Pokémon images you got from an external site or little icons such as our emoticon ones. Same goes for links to a Pokémon/party, as those aren't the images. Note that there are still other signature guidelines you have to follow regarding how many images/links are allowed in your signature, so just be sure you've read over the forum rules and the pinned signature rules thread in this section (post there if you're unsure). -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? Question: Will a sig that rotates random parties - in the same fashion as your avatar each time it's viewed - still go against the rule?

I don't see why it matters, but I don't care because it doesn't affect me. Even if it did, I would probably only post mine and my sisters eggs/pokemon anyways.
If you feel like it, please answer these questions for me. Why does it matter if someone puts 50 eggs in their signature and how does this negatively impact anything? Was it a single person who inspired this rule, a small number of people, or a large number of people (if so, why not just ask for spoiler-things?)? Answer these questions, and I shall be at peace! I'm sure that this rule won't be strongly enforced someday. You know, like that other rule. Yes, you know. I can see it in your eyes. T.T But anyways, I find LPTPW gang a bit guilty because of this, I think we started it. oic. *shot* Anyways, maybe its better this way, because of those views I could hatch my eggs within an hour without even clicking, which was a bit unfair to other users.
