Yea, standard thread to go with new feature.

Green is my favourite color, so this is turning out pretty cool already. I wonder if the affinities might have something to do with our play styles? Such as heavy clickers, battlers, breeders, whichever.

Azurite seem to be people in the top 500 users
Malachite seems to be people between who aren't in the top 500 users (like 501-1500)
Wulfenite users outside this bracket

And then, when I saw that Azurite was an affinity as well, I was like "Hmm. Interesting. I think I used that name in an unfinished Sailor Moon fanfic." Yes, I did use it. He was a member of the Neptunian Royal Guard who had to tell the King & Queen some bad news.

Just an idea: could it be that by clicking pokémons of people with your affinity you gain more points (whenthe system will be active)? Or something that concern advantages for interact with your affinity

Because you need to post in sections other than this one. This entire section brings no post counts.
I doubt it's to do with anything like that. Could be competition related.

Same here. I thought the affirnities were grouped by what color scheme you prefer. i always pick blue. But apparently wolfenite isn't yellow and malachite isn't red, so that theory is out of the window.

Not everyone here is into geology. But I do see your point. Although you did forget about luster and streak color, they are similar. But as it looks, they are related to the admins.

Azurite is Blue (Cobalion)
Malachite is Green (Virizion)
Wulfenite is Yellow/Gray (Terrakion)

If you're referring to them as some form of summons, then from what I remember; there is no generation 5 summon items... besides, if they WERE, why would they only be on your Pokétch pages?

Hm... I don't think they got to choose. As Wymsy said, everyone was randomly assigned an affinity. Judging by Letan's probably sonfusedish sounding post it looks like they were randomised too.
Pretty sure the only people who chose were Admins (Obviously)

I'd take a guess and say Icicle and Mephistopheles are in Azurite and the rest are in Malachite or Wulfenite
