Lolglitch, Catching a Pokemon glitch |

I was on Route 16, faced with a level 20 Liepard. Having given up on Purrloin for Pidove, I hadn't caught one before, so I cut down its HP and threw a Pokeball at it.

That's no glitch, it's a Critical Capture, which provides a massive boost to the catch rate.

i've had 1 critical capture, but i can't remember what it was for. i had the sound off so i didn't know until i read this post why it only shook once.

I think I had a crit capture once. But I don't remember which Pokémon it happened with though.

I got my Deino on my Japanese White via a critical capture. I basically knew something was off once the ball throwing sound was a little louder than usual.

Throwing sound kinda sounds like you threw the pokeball at mach 5, dings, shakes a little in the air, then makes the same bounce once, shakes once, clicks. Congrats you have captured the pokemon.
In short Critical capture is like a critical hit for pokeballs. -------------------- I have no more words.  |

I've had one Critical Capture. I've had Critical Captures on a few things, namely things that they would be useless on. Example: paralyzed Litwick with maybe 5% of its health left. Thanks, Critical Capture! (Well, I suppose it's nothing to be upset about, but still.)

I've had quite a few Critical Captures. The only one I remember is the one that failed, though. lol
It wasn't even a cool Pokemon! It was something like an Onix, I think. It just wasn't staying in a ball, and I was getting really annoyed with it, but then I heard the "Shing!" and was like, "HA! Got you, you stupid-" and then it burst out again.
