Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

Event dates and what's being handed out

• June 2nd: Thunderstorms in the area? Look closely and you might find this Pokémon hanging about. ~ Zapdos ~ 350 eggs
• June 3rd: Keldeo - Winner: The Majestic Mr L - 350 eggs
• June 4th: Valentacool - Winner: RicFule - 350 eggs
• June 5th: Heatran - Winner: Nostalgic River Shadow - 350 eggs
• June 6th: Not fond of warmer regions, this Pokémon cruises around arctic environments. ~ Icy Horsea ~ 350 eggs

I still can't believe half the year is gone already and it doesn't feel like it. We've been getting temperatures in the negatives still, it is June, not September.

I'm going after the first or last Pokemon for the distribution. I'm hoping to get the first one the most so I'll cross my fingers for that one.

Well yesterday was crazy on the site, I got Prankster 4 times . I totally wasn't expecting to get that, I haven't seen it in a while. None of them were shiny though, one is still waiting to hatch(darn hour long cooldowns).

Welcome to June Everybody!

Sweet, am I the first to come on here? Surely not as I'm sure others are posting quicker than I.

I'm hoping for a late birthday present by getting the June 2nd Event Pokemon, but I guess I'll have to be actively active and keep a space free. Pretty much all of this month's Pokemon are pretty good choices. Loving the Heatran one, given my location and the "official" start of summer. Yeah. It works. LOL

In other news... now that my shiny sentry has failed me ever so badly, I can actively search for the Poke Hunt entry this week. So here's hoping to some success in that regard. Not sure yet what the prize was/is for the May SWSH as I haven't looked and am on my way to bed.

Ooh, looks like we have a nice pair of mystery Pokémon this month. I'm guessing some kind of electric and some kind of ice type. x)

I hope everyone in the US had a good Memorial Day weekend! Mine was not too bad. Got some things done around the house, started a more intense workout routine, and just did a lot of relaxing.

Merry June everyone! June means start of winter break for me so I'm happy

Hopefully now that uni is almost done, I'll have some time to actually click and get my current run of DotW over with. Then I should have a chance before the end of the month to do Kyurem and Thundurus' explorations to get their forms for my living dex ^^ I'm thinking the first mystery egg in the distribution might be Thundurus but I'm going to go for the last mystery because I don't know what that is off the top of my head :P

I'm also halfway to the infamous 75 win streak in the Battle Subway. My Ferrothorn/Azumarill duo is awesome xD

I was thinking that the first one would be either Thundurus or Raikou. Definitely leaning more towards the former, though.
Not so sure about the last mystery one - I would go around looking through Pokedex entries and such, but I'm not really in the mood for that.

And I'm not quite sure which one I'm gonna go for - maybe Keldeo if I don't go for one of the mystery ones.
Also not sure which explos I'll be doing either.

Anyways - Hello June! even though it's still May here for about another hour.
Can't wait to see what the SWSH prize is once it's released - and also for the Sun/Moon info! Super hyped!

Looking through the Novelty and Very Rare pokemon led me to believe that it's either Articuno or an entirely new one.

And I went and bought myself the new voucher, since I failed to get a SWSH shiny this time. Might end up buying more if I need to after it's completed.

Ugh. 775 eggs and I still didn't manage to hatch a shiny Baltoy for the SWSH. This is the first one I haven't completed within the month in probably more than two years. Ack!

Aw, well, at least the voucher's available in the Prize Shop. This is why I always keep some Prize Points in reserve for.

Manaphy is available for download for all of you ORAS/XY players in North America. I think I'll go ahead and grab mine. That's one of the ones I needed for my living dex in Poké Bank, too.

I'll probably try and go for the June 2nd mystery egg, but knowing me, I'll completely forget about it.

Edit: My 7th year anniversary was back in May. So weird. @_@

First mystery Pokemon is either Raikou or Thundurus. I'd bet money that the last mystery Pokemon is Icy Horsea, based off the Pokedex description for Icy Seadra: "An arctic-dwelling variant of Seadra. It has adapted to subzero climates and prefers them to warmer regions."

I recently hit 6 years myself! Its seriously felt like my 3rd was just yesterday XD It amazes me how fast time flies lol

Didn't hatch my shiny in time, like I knew I wouldn't (I was too slow, could hardly grab any eggs bc I had to refresh almost 20 times to see another egg, and my new laptop makes mass clicking way too difficult bc I picked a shite processor) but luckily I had 180 points to spend

*sigh* And I really need to find some shinies... Yes, I finished this SWSH (only 189 eggs hatched!), but I would like to start some new, private hunts. Which isn't possible when you're at 16 active hunts (most SWSH). Some of those Hunts date back till 2010!

First one is more than likely Thundurus, last one I feel is Icy Horsea. So there's pretty much nothing I want at all. Might have to see if I have two Thundurus, but I think I already do!

Oh, and in addition to Manaphy being distributed over Wi-Fi (in NA and EU), there's a code for the Mew event as well: MEW2016! (no !) It's exactly the same event as the in-store distribution from January, so this is if you weren't able to get that, like I wasn't :P
Unfortunately this code won't work in NA, only in EU, but I hear a similar code for Mew is coming in the Trainer Club newsletter (the same one with the birds codes).

22 days from tomorrow and I'm all done with my exams I can't wait. Revision is soooooo boring (there's only so much Ecosystems/Plate Tectonics and Associated Hazards/World Cities I can take in a period of time.

Next exam is next Thursday so just a week to go and NO MORE GEOGRAPHY I loathe it. Can finally get some of my life back for a bit then!

Excited to see what this Artifact Voucher is all about and yay for explorations this month. I need to finish off Raikou then I'll move onto Kyurem.. maybe try and finish it after my exams then use my voucher for another Kyurem alongside. Can I has my shiny soon?

I had been planning to go to London MCM but then it just kind of didn't happen. I'm not really fussed about it though, I'm still visiting my partner over here and it's been so nice. The weekend was lovely!

I got Overwatch this past... Monday, I guess it was. That wasn't long. My parents bought my the Origins Edition for $10 more than the base game and because Amazon is amazing I ended up getting a preorder copy a week after it released. So I'm really happy about that! It was a little funny trying to explain to my mom which keys from the package I needed because I'm in England and she's in the States, where it was delivered, but I did get it eventually!

It's my birthday today so I'm kind of chilling out and stealing my partner's yogurt drink (I'll run out later to get him another!) but I'm pretty psyched about the honey+ we have going on right now (maybe I'll actually finish my first Eevee hunt?). Going to get myself some birthday legendary birds and a Manaphy on my 3DS games, I've been looking forward to this for ages!

I don't think the weather got the memo that it's June. I woke up this morning to frost on the windshield of my car. The temperature was -3 when I left for work this morning .

Thankfully the multiplier is still going for Honey+, makes it a lot easier to hatch Eevee eggs. I haven't had much luck getting anything above 100 since I started hatching eggs. I'm hoping to get at least something good to get the Mind Shard, I have 3 out of the 5 needed to forge the plate. I'm running behind on getting shards, but then again the shinies I hatched lately I already have the Plate .

I downloaded the Manaphy in one of my games but I haven't picked it up yet. I beat the Elite Four last night and I'm currently working on the Delta Episode. My team was Swampert, Masquerain, Shiftry and Mightyena. I'm waiting until I hit the Battle Resort so I have access to the IV Checker. It'll make SRing for a good nature and IVs a bit easier. My other games I have way too many things to pick up, I'm just hoping I don't run out of spaces for wonder cards.

I got a 160IV Musharna for the Pokehunt, if this wont get me rank 1 I dont know what will.

Just cleared another achievement rom my to-do list All Geared Up. Now back to Darwanist and Im Legend...


I also got lucky and got Giratina in Pokemon Shuffle with ?% Capture rate, he is a great addition to the team ^^.

At those levels, I would not give them. Save them for the Pokemon who need them next time 'round. I can't imagine it doesn't win. So long as it is fully evolved you should be good to win. In my opinion.

I got Giratina after the first time it came out, about a year ago. I'm just doing this for the rewards. I'm up to level 50 (the Mega Speedup stage) and of course I might have to spend more money if I want to clear it. I might take a break from the game or just hoard coins. I can't really keep up at the moment. Plus Albens Town is really grinding my gears. Took me three Great Balls to catch a mere Grimer.

Idaknow. While Munna/Musharna IS a Rare egg type, it also has a low eggstep hatch rate. It doesn't have a gender bonus, since it's a 50/50 split. It might still pull out a Rank 1, however, but I think it will likely be really close to the Rank 1/Rank 2 cutoff. Of course, I'm not certain what IV totals a Munna-line egg would need. Maybe someone else can clarify?

{And my current entry is a 137 IV Espeon. Which is a potential placeholder, as I'm not certain how well THAT one will do either. But I'll look up until Late Thursday, anyway.}

Huh, I can't use the Artifact Voucher I got for the SWSH. I've had this occur once before, and the reason, I believe, was that the Pokemon the voucher gave you wasn't ready yet. Is that the case this time too?

Yeah, it isn't ready yet apparently. Darth mentioned it in the June thread.

As for the Poke Hunt, I'm not really working that hard on it right now. Maybe soon I'll really get back into it so I can get more points. As I said before, now that I don't have to worry about shards, I'm not too worried about it as much.

Speaking of F2P games (right?), I downloaded Pokemon Picross a few weeks ago.

Kids, don't spend your money on this game. From what I hear, if you're into Picross you're much better off buying some of the e-Series games and you'll get much more bang for your buck. I played through the Pokemon version without spending money... it wasn't too great. Decent puzzles but with a bunch of Pokemon stuff slapped on to it. I guess if you have some time to waste it's OK, but only if you play for free; it's not worth the money to unlock everything immediately.

I actually prefer playing for free (though I did buy the smallest picrite package to knock out the energy meter, cause that's dumb y'all), it slows it down a lot. Plus I like collecting Pokémon and neat sprites I got the Zelda Picross off My Nintendo and I actually didn't like it quite so much... Still good though.
I'd definitely buy a Picross-e game if I was gonna spend more money on picross.

Yay for june and the summer time~ It's also my birthday along with my sisters this month, so it should be fairly fun

I may also get a job this month The lady said she would call me tomorrow. I'm excited but also extremely nervous, It's like going back to school for the first time again.
Still studying for my Drivers permit and because of that i put my nuzlocke on hold.
Probably gonna go for Azelf or uxie this month along with landorus or thundurus.

Wow! June already! School's ending on Tuesday and loads of amiibo are nearly here. My wallet will be completely empty by the time summer ends.

As for the first mystery egg, I believe it would be Zapdos. Raikou was obtainable last month through the Tour of Illusions exploration and Thundurus is already available this month through the Mansion of Gods exploration. It wouldn't make sense to just re-release them so soon.

It doesn't really matter if special explorations feature the same Pokémon as the ones from the giveaways -- we've had a month where the same Pokémon was available from either. Mewtwo was the one that I can remember right off the bat.

We were all given the day off work tomorrow, yay! Well, seeing as I'm a casual I won't get paid, but at least I'll now have an extra day to spend finishing off my last couple of assignments ^^

I've been playing a lot of FE Fates lately, so hopefully I'll remember sometime to go onto ORAS and download my Manaphy. Looks like the Sun/Moon announcement is happening 9pm tonight my time, so I'm going to be on the lookout for that!

So June is (Sexuality) Pride month and if you are willing to share your sexuality, I figure this is a great place to do that (even if you're straight, feel free to say so (even though pride month is for LGBTQIA+) Your sexuality is just as valid as everyone elses'!) So if you wanna give a bit about your sexuality and what it means for you to be that sexuality, then here's the starting point! Every time they release new info I get so excited.
I can not wait til November.

The Pokedex is adorable! It's interesting how it's gonna be like another character of sorts.

From the expression Lillie makes on her artwork makes me feel like she's gonna be one of those characters that are kind of a jerk to the main character at first (and since it says she "has devoured many books", she'll probably giving some information for the story at some point).

And it turns out that there are multiple islands (figured so since it's based on Hawaii). And an artificial island? That's sound interesting (and undoubtedly significant to the story I assume - villain team base? maybe not but *shrug*).

^And I was expecting Solgaleo to have a fire type, too.


Welp, I'm ready for the next batch of info.

On the other note, im not hyped at all for Pokemon Moon and Sun. So far I only like the water starter and the fire, the legends look like lost art for Noivern en Pyroar and as some have mentioned before the typing of pokemons these days dont make any sense what so ever...

Strangely enough I do still like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, though thats a whole other type of game.

I guess no one was expecting such (bad) typings, but it's not the first time that GF gives us different typings than what people were expecting based on design/descriptions. I'm more upset with the abilities, which are "new" but not really new since Clear Body and Multiscale already exist. And it seems like Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam disregards abilities. Pretty much op. I'm hoping that the Rotom Dex ends up being a new form, but I highly doubt it.

Speaking of anime conventions, there's a con on here later this month which I'm looking forward to. Though this year they seemed to have really cut back on the anime voice actor guests they usually have, which is a little disappointing. Nevertheless, it will be fun to look around at all the stalls, displays and cosplays and get a heap of Streetpasses :P I can't decide if I'm going to cosplay or not this time. I don't feel like putting the time/money/effort into one or reusing one of my old ones, but I don't think I'd feel right going to a convention and not cosplaying to some degree ^^" Maybe I'll just go as a school girl of some sort, which would be pretty easy and effortless and low-key. Maybe Nozomi Toujou...

Pretty interesting types for those legendaries. Gotta say that I'm not surprised by Lunala's, but Solgaleo's caught me off guard. Their moves are cool, too.

Professor Kukui looks like a chill bro and probably calls people "dude."

Everything about the game looks great to me so far. The Rotomdex is unexpected, but at this point, all I hope is that they keep things like DexNav. Please, please keep DexNav. I frankly don't give a damn about Amie or even Super Training (except for rare stones, I suppose), but I need my DexNav.

Edit: Regarding anime conventions, I've only been to one. The only things that really appeal to me about them are the artist alley areas, and otherwise, I don't care that much. I'm more of a PAX person myself, so hopefully I'll get to go some year. Too many teenagers otherwise.

Oh nice! A Rotom in the game?! Wow! I'll have to watch the trailer again, when I have free time and can turn the sound on. I didn't mind the type matches for the legendaries because it looks like they're both using the sun and moon to assist in their fighting. It's kind of cool and different. I don't mind that the sun one isn't fire; it looks like it can use the benefits of the fire (sun) though so... that's nice. Right?

I deposited my Poke Hunt entry and am not expecting anything above a 3rd place. I'd actually be surprised, if I don't find a replacement, that it'll make a 3rd place showing. IVs of 125 are pretty bad for the Poke Hunts now that we all look for higher IV levels. *blush*

In other GPX news... happy birthday to me.... my random Munna for the Hunt had hatched shiny. While it is now sentry, it is awfully pretty (imo) so I was quite pleased with its hatching. *happy dances*

Today I hope to finish this exploration step and collect my prize so that I can move on to a new exploration. I might begin DotW again. I do have a couple of plates left to forge. I don't have the Exp All to assist, but I don't want that to stop me from another possible Arceus form. So we'll see.

Alola looks nice, though count me in as one of the many confused about Solgaleo's typing. It could have at least had Fire as a secondary type, but I guess if that's what they want.

I'm also loving the new characters, like Kukui and the rival. The Rotom Pokedex looks like an interesting twist. I wonder how Mega Evolution will be handled now.

That'll definitely give you a leg up. I don't have that so that task takes up a great deal of time for me. How I wish I could pay money for it... or every single point and/or prize point just to get that. Yeah. It's worth that much to me. My prize points are currently at 1,005 and my points are at 4,001,900.

We went out to dinner last night to Chipolte. It's one of my favorite restaurants. While I kind of wanted Applebee's... after my soup or salad lunch that left me feeling ill.. I wasn't quite up to much. But the girls really wanted to go to Chipolte so I agreed to that restaurant. And, I suppose, since I brought them yesterday, I did get myself 4 new pairs of capris. I take it none of you guys have seen the deer-like Pokémon in the first trailer? I've not seen many people pick up on that.. if you stop the trailer about 12-13 seconds in and look at the lower left, there's a a boy with some deer-like Pokémon in front of him.

I won't be surprised when they change the Professor's name for the French version, since it's hilarious when you say it out loud for us. They're changing the interface design so much I don't know what to think about it. One of the Japanese trailers seems to show Rotom-dex will become the Navi-dex on the bottom screen. Its design reminds me of those "my first laptop" toys. I hope there's a way to make it stop helping you after the tutorial. I bet that Rotom can never be a part of your party, but if it can, I'm renaming it Clippy.

Right now I don't use any since I haven't bothered with it. Upon researching all my Pokemon, their IVs were PITIFUL! (For the most part). So I need to sit down and go through the current guide and work from there. But yeah. I've paid $150 for what FarmVille called an Unwither Ring to save my crops. Spent that much $ at least 4 to 5 times. So here? I'd so be willing to buy my way into that Exp All seat. *smirk* But thanks for be willing to assist me. Once I get good IV Pokemon I'll be researching that ugly side of GPX then.

I foresee me using that guide sooner as opposed to later and seeking the recommended Pokemon. I can't help but think IVs will play a role in my success though so that is why I'm dumping 9 out of 10 of my "basic" Pokemon and will (soon) be searching for stronger ones. I thought most people were of the impression that the "antlers" were actually the feet/shoes of the person in the background, and that the thing in front was a dog-like pokemon. Me? I was of the impression that the "mystery pokemon" was actually just a second human standing in front of the other one, possibly wearing a backpack. But yeah. It's likely a pokemon o some sort, making me wrong. Not that it matters.

I forgot that this exploration task doesn't let me move these Pokemon from my party to the PokeWalker. This is gonna take a while to get all these annoyances Pokemon to level 100

Aw no I missed it. I wanted to get today's distribution but I had just hatched the Eevee eggs in my party at the same time it was going out. Oh well, maybe I'll get the next egg I want.

No luck getting any Eevee with good IVs. The best I've gotten so far is a 123IVd one. I don't think I'll be hatching a lot of eggs so I'll probably not get the Mind Shard this week.

finally got the dratted elusive pokemon I needed for Task 6 of Mansion of Gods... and then as I was levelling another mon for task 9 I got a Hoopa from the event thing at the top

When it was first introduced, one guy from Nintendo said that he hoped that eventually all 'mons had one (and it's completely possible, since Mega Evolution only envolves having the stone and a strong bond with the trainer (with the exception of Rayquaza)). And they want to make one for Flygon (and they know how much people want megas for Flygon and the Johto starters), so I doubt that they would drop it.

ok fo Lulana, it's bone-like shape on the wings was already a ghost signal. But with its double type psy-ghost, a bit of dark and this one will be ohko.
But I love the way both got the canopy of heaven (is that the way you say it in english idk) on their forehead.

I'm a bit sad to see that for the user face there IS NO GINGER ok it's Hawaii and ginger people have difficulties to tolerate the heat, but at least give us the possibility to have something between the pale blonde female and the pale raven female... but I'm pernickety.
I'd love tho see a kamehameha.

About June the month of gender: I thought I was asexual for a really long time, then I fell for a jerk and now I don't know what I am anymore, just bored I guess.

The "deer" pokemon in the corocoro trailer: I insist, I see a dog, a shiba inu or something like that! why a deer would be at the feet of a hooman! 8D I mean a dog would be more like "hey hey I wanna play gimme that ball".

It was an event egg day, wasn't it? Didn't I have an open slot this afternoon? Gah. I dunno. If I didn't, it was by total oversight and accident. Definitely beginning to wear down and look forward to bed, but we're watching our neighbor's youngest right now and then I have to take my daughter's friend home. So bed escapes me for a while still so I figured I'd come out and click my way through the first explore task.

Well I was hatching Eevee for the pokehunt that i missed out on because I was playing animal crossing, one of them hatched shiny.
At first I freaked out because I also hatched the zapdos I got with it and thought the Zapdos was the shiny lol. Little bummed out but a shiny is a shiny and I'm gonna turn it into a... Flareon ? I think ill make him a Flareon
On the Animal crossing side- I haven't played it in a week so bamboo took over most of my town. (yes im still playing New Leaf)

It would almost be a year since I properly played ACNL. I did get a random urge to play it a couple of weeks ago, but as soon as I turned it on and saw the state of my town I was like, no, I won't play this xD

In FE Fates I was looking at the DLC and downloaded Map Pack 1. Not that I'm anywhere near finishing the actual game yet, I just wanted some more side battles to do to level up and bond my troops

I was also surprised with my Pokehunt placing: rank 1 with a 115IV (female) Espeon!

I got New Leaf recently as I said a while ago and I've really been enjoying it. I haven't played an Animal Crossing game since City Folk back in 2009 I think, so this was welcome even if the game is a few years old by now. Don't have bamboo yet but I'm working on hybrid flowers and overall just beautifying my town. Grass deterioration is ruining it though...

Also, using my birthday money I bought Halo 3, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Black Ops 1 and 2, and they should be arriving today, so I'm happy.

Luckily Europe gets the game a couple days late, so by the time I get the game, it should be obvious whether you can change hair color/style or not.

I think I'm prolly gonna go for the blondie since I like blue eyes a lot, even though I don't have blue eyes myself.

So far I preffer DotW over TBD anytime. Yea the party lock is annoying, but I preffer that over 3 feeding tasks.

Edit: Just saw Shiny Latias again, damn do I want one badly. I doubt ill ever get one here, but a man can dream cant he?

I didn't realize you had a limited window to complete the monthly explorations after the month ends! Glad I snagged the last trio one I needed though. Guess I'll be working on that this week and doing my best to power through. Hoping for another multiplier to help me out there!

I got my first shiny Eevee of the batch after 200 eggs, I've already started another hunt. I'm definitely using those to get Hatching Insanity, I love the eeveelutions enough to keep me motivated.

My partner bought me a 12kg/~26lbs watermelon yesterday and I've eaten a quarter of it for breakfast alone. I am going to have to pee so much

I'm sure that trainer customization will come back with all of the features it had originally, so we'll be able to change clothes hair style/color and eye color.

I just think it would be very strange (and a bad choice) to have it where you can choose from the different hair/eye/skin colors at first and be able to change your clothes, but not have it where you can dye your hair and change contacts later in the game like it was in X and Y.

And I really hope that this time around we can take off the hat and put on glasses. And I really want to have more hair and eye colors, not just natural ones. It would be cool to have like red or black eyes and green or blue hair or something. More hair styles is needed, too. And there definitely needs to be better clothing. A lot of it was too girly for my tastes. There needs to be more for tomboys/nerds.
And I mainly just want to make the trainer as close as possible to the one I drew, so I really want white hair to be an option (and long wavy hair).

And I wish it could be even more customizable where you can choose different eye shapes, heterochromia eyes (each a different color), and be able to dye certain parts of your hair (where you can have stripes and such) or maybe even style your own hair with the stylus, but I don't see these happening soon (especially the last part).

How long have I been playing Pokemon? Well. I'd have to estimate and say... 14 years at least.

Earlier today, while waiting for my daughter at the dentist office, I was working on leveling my party up. They began at level 26 and ran up to 33. I was working on getting them all to level 35 so we could go face my father, Norman, and earn the next gym badge.

So we were traipsing - more like combing - every inch of the sand storm strewn desert. We did this to search for fights so we could level up. And then. Fourteen years after it all began... it happened. TO ME!!!!!

You must forgive the blurred factor. I took it off my 3DS with a cell phone and sent it to my email then saved it to the computer and copied it to Photobucket. And here it is. I'm. So. Floored! By this!!! Wasn't it just last week (or the week before) that I said Nintendo has it in for me and will NEVER give me one when I've actually got Poke balls? LOL

And I was so worried I'd kill it or use every Poke Ball I had. See, with my levels, I couldn't hurt it. It was only a level 21. If I swung even once, I'd have killed it for sure. *eek* So I switched to Grimer (lvl 33) and used the only move I could. I used Disable. Which, ironically enough, disabled the move it just used on me. Leech Seed. *rolls eyes* So I opted to use my one. My only. My last. Repeat Ball. It had full health (and then some, from the two leechings), but it worked! My very first ever authentic IN GAME SHINY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*faints*

So my first and only shiny pokemon in the games was a Druddigon found randomly in the caves right before the elite four. It was in the game before X and Y. Uhm....the name is escaping me right now. But yeah. Only shiny found to this day. xD

Nice! My daughter must have had a 4 leaf clover on her one day because she found 2 in game shinies. They turned out to be the same Pokemon (different, related games) so she gave me the second one. But this one is all my own dumb luck so... it's going with me in all my games down the road. Uh-hu. Oh yeah. *happy dances*

Picking up the talk about shiny Chaos and all... I can't really comment. I'm trying to remember... isn't there a Sonic game with Chao island or something? I haven't played it in so long! But it seems, to my memory, that the game was more like a side fun thing to do when you're not racing with Sonic. I can't even remember how or what system it'd be for. LOL Are shiny Chaos hard to come by?

Also, I was just looking around at the Chao pictures on Chao Island, and the shiny two-tone brown Hero Chaos looks amazing (yeah, long title )! I've been trying to make a Chaos Chao for a while (lacking much motivation though), and I started out by trying to do it with a mono-tone brown Chao, then I remembered that I wanted to do it with a two-toned one, so I had to get another Chao and start over the process.
But now I may have to start the process over again to do it with a shiny version (and I've spent quite a bit of time already on this second one ).
Idk, I might not do it, but the shiny one looks really pretty.

And that is why I like having a False Swipe pokemon in my Party at all times. No worries about accidentally fainting a random shiny I come across. And I normally use Premier Balls to catch my shinies in as well. I mean, what ELSE are they good for? LOL And that's why the ORAS "Buy ten Balls and get a Premier Ball" is better than the older games, where you HAD to buy 10 PokeBalls to get the Premier.

Congrats on your shiny Cacnea. No clue how many random shinies I've found in-game. Probably 4? Combee, Gligar, Eevee, and I think a Flabebe? Of course, I've made a ton of horde battle shiny catches but those were intentional hunts.

So you mean to tell me the Preimere balls do work? I have a few of them in my inventory, but my daughter told me that they were useless and all the Pokemon just break free of those. So I was too afraid to try it. *blush* I think I have 3 of those all together. And yes, you're right. I need to go back and make sure I have that (it's a TM, right?) taught to at least one of my party Pokemon at all times. Thanks for reminding me!

Premier Balls are just like normal PokeBalls, so they're "weaker" than Great Balls and such. The Repeat Ball was probably a better choice, since it's likely a little stronger and you said Cacnea had full energy.

Yes, False Swipe is a TM. BUT! Some pokemon learn it by leveling up. Which game are you currently playing?

Well, Chao Island is actually kind of a Wiki for Chao stuff (http://chao.hippotank.com/). The actual places where the Chao (that's actually plural and singular 'cause I know pointless random facts about things I like) are in game are called Chao Gardens (with other names depending which type of Chao Garden you go into, like the "Hero" and "Dark" Gardens). And yeah, it's a side part of the games. The rings and such you get from the main game can be used in them. It's just a fun addition to some of the Sonic games (and some people prefer it to the main part ).
And the games that have the Chao Garden are Sonic Adventure (and the "DX" version), Sonic Adventure 2 (and the "Battle" version), Sonic Advance, and Sonic Pinball Party - which are on the Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Game Boy Advance (at least the original versions were, some were brought to newer systems).
Also, shiny Chao aren't really that hard to come by, but the areas in the games that you buy Chao eggs from have the shiny Chao eggs highly priced. Though on the Sonic Adventure games, you can just buy one shiny Chao egg, then you can breed that Chao (once it becomes old enough) with other colored Chao to make different colored shiny Chao (like a shiny white Chao + a brown Chao (may) = a shiny brown Chao).

Yeah... I know a lot about Chao.
They're a part of the reason why Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is my favorite Sonic game (and one of the other parts is that you can actually control the characters well *glares at Sonic Lost World*) - which is why I really hope that in the future a Sonic Adventure 3 with a new and improved Chao Garden will come out (but I feel like it may never happen ).

I left a space open in my party and did indeed get a Keldeo egg today. I went ahead and tried for that one because it's the toughest to get of the giveaway Pokémon (due to having more egg steps than Heatran and not being a novelty), and I don't have its shiny. If the last mystery 'mon is what I think it is, I have the shiny of it already.

Regarding in-game shinies: Man, I have plenty in my Poké Bank now thanks to the Shiny Charm in Omega Ruby. Before 6th Gen, the only shiny I ever caught (besides planted ones like Red Gyarados) was a Chansey in Pokémon Silver. (I feel like I told this story before in here, lol.) But someone stole my Silver version (in the sense that he didn't return it to me ever), and I lost it. Well, now I'm grabbing shinies left and right in Omega Ruby, so there!

Oh man, Sonic Adventure 2 is also my favorite Sonic game and one of my favorite games ever. I definitely spent hours in the Chao Gardens with my Chaos Chao. <3 I still have my original file from 2004 and still have every Chao I ever got. Every now and then, I boot up the ol' Gamecube and take a look at them.

Oh, what type of Chao is your Chaos Chao (you know, like the tone and stuff)? And what are some of your favorite Chao you have?
At the top of my head, some of my favorites are Cocoa (the two-tone brown I mentioned before that I want to be a Chaos Chao - still unsure if I'll swap it for a shiny version - it's also the in game "version" of my Chao I made for my Sonic OCs ), Alpha ("Shadow" run-type Chao), Jelly (green & transparent - from breeding a shiny Chao with a Jewel one), Galaxy (another transparent one, black and redish iirc), and... yeah, that's all I can remember of my faves at the moment. I haven't played the game in a little while.

Also, what's your favorite character in the series? (also asking this to anyone else that likes the series)
Mine's Shadow (I think partly deriving from my love for SA2B).
I watched the Sonic Boom show (actually not bad, especially in comparison to other video game shows but how dumb they made Knuckles bothers me), and on the episode Shadow came in I fangirled a little. And it was funny how Eggman was like "HOLY CRAP OMG IT SHAADDOOOOW SPOLNPSOHFGOPHPLSDKNA!!!!!!"
Eggman is definitely interesting on that show...

Oh and ships? Do you (or anyone else here) have any ships in this series (or any others)?
My main ship is Shadow & Rouge and I despise Kunckles and Rouge. I always thought they'd be adorable together. Like, a cold dark character that hates everyone and then develops feelings for his partner. I think it would be interesting since he doesn't have social skills and distances himself from people so he may not really have much knowledge about dating and how you feel when you like someone, so he would be trying to figure out what's going on with him and stuff but wouldn't talk about it with others since he likes doing things by himself so he would randomly get confused/frustrated while trying to figure it out and would act really weird around Rouge and everyone would be like "uh Shadow you ok?????". I think of a lot of scenarios of my OTPs and OCs
I just feel like this would be a fun topic to discuss.


And aside from my fangirling - my sleep schedule is impossible to fix. I had it on track for about one day, then I went to bed around 11 (pretty early for me during the summer) and I slept for about a full 12 hours.
Now it's about 2 in the morning.
I wish I could go to sleep as late as I want and wake up as early as I want without getting tired. Or better yet - not even have to sleep. Over the summer, I don't like to go to bed when I'm not even tired - I like staying up late until I do feel tired. But then I also like to be up by 9 to 10 in the morning because if I sleep past then I feel like I wasted the day (even though I'll pretty much be spending the same amount of time awake doing about the same stuff). I like staying up at night, but I guess once it's dark out I just feel like the day is completely over (I don't know how to explain it, it doesn't even really make sense to me).
Idk, I just wish I could stay up late but then be able to get myself up before noon without being really tired.

In other news, I've dropped myself in on attending a firm quiz night on Tuesday...yikes. I'm absolutely awful at quizzes, so I need to revise so I don't become too much of a liability. Apart from Olympics and World Cups, what other stupid things do general knowledge quizzes in the UK touch on? Quite reassuringly, someone else in the team said they're bad too, but we might end up with the loser's prize at this rate...

I've never really got into Sonic, but I did like playing as Blaze in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. I thought she looked cool (I like purple), plus she was quite good to be in terms of the game ^^ I've also been seeing fanart around about how Litten resembles Shadow which I thought was quite funny :P

I had played the modern Sonic games. My favorite was Sonic Unleashed. I never understood why people hated the game so much. I get Sonic '06 and Sonic Boom (I dislike what they did to most of the characters in the latter). But Unleashed had gorgeous graphics, and the Werehog mechanics were awesome. The biggest complaint I hear is that the night stages were slow. I actually LOVED the night stages, because I prefer an awesome beat-'em-up than constantly running through the stage and being done with the enemies with multiple one-hit-KO Homing Attacks. I get the complaint if you're speedrunning, but I'm one of the people who aren't in a hurry to finish the game.

I just have a Light Chaos Chao and a Devil Chaos Chao. Never bothered with any others since my ultimate goal was to get all 180 emblems, and getting those two Chaos Chao did it for me. x) I never got an Angelic one because I wasn't fond of how it looked.

My favorite characters are Shadow and Rouge. I love Shadow's backstory and color scheme, and I love Rouge's design. Also, I'm a huge fan of Perfect Chaos. I'm sure that counts as a character.

I was REALLY into Sonic around the early 2000s. Roleplaying, writing, playing every game that came out, etc.

@Luneon: I actually don't find that all that odd. Idaknow, I don't really find much stuff weird anymore. But you should try out the Sonic Adventures. Imo, they're the best ones, and I feel like a new good Sonic game isn't going to come out very soon. The new ones haven't stuck out to me at all and I'm not very interested in the stories. But maybe this is because it's focusing mainly on Sonic and the other characters are just kinda "there" and that bothers me - they don't do much and they're just becoming more and more bland in the games. I really liked having separate stories for the characters and their take on what's going on.
_{Also it really irks me at the end of Sonic Generations and everyone is cheering on Sonic - and Shadow is like "you can do it Sonic" and I'm just ???? Shadow your not supposed to be supportive. I can't get over this.}

@CrazyUmbreonLady: It's been a long time since I've played that game, so I don't have much of an opinion on it. I also never really played it a whole lot, so I never really knew the story much. My brother was one of the people that didn't like the night stages (I don't remember why though), so he would play the Sonic stages while I played the Werehog ones - and because of this, I can't really compare the two. I do remember the night stages being kinda fun, though. I really need to start going through my games and replaying/beating the ones I never finished (or on my own).

And another Shadow fan! Woo! Yeah, his backstory (and colors too) is another thing I like about him. I generally just like his personality and how it contrasts from most of the other characters (same goes for Rouge since she also likes doing things just for her benefit most of the time).
Perfect Chaos is definitely one of my preferred villains from the series with the Deadly Six at the very bottom - no, they're not even on the list. Probably since I love Sonic Adventure.

But yeah, I think it's that they're so used to blasting across the landscape with a bit of platforming that they refuse to tolerate any other gameplay that deviates from this. Sonic Boom, as previously mentioned, is understandable (probably doesn't help that the glitch that ended up being the only enjoyable thing gameplay-wise was patched). But I don't think that the night stages have that issue. Instead of exploration that could've been done better, you have parts where you fight enemies, and there's plenty of action to keep you entertained unless there's an adversary that happens to be playing keep away constantly, and to my memory, that doesn't happen often on the Wii version. In addition, the original mechanics are kept in the daytime stages, which helps balance it out.

I've finally finished my last assignment for the semester! So relieved now. I do have a two exams to completely finish things off in a couple of weeks, but I'm pretty confident for both of them so I'm not too worried ^^

This morning I also managed to get to my 75 win streak in the Battle Subway, so the Exp All is now mine I also conveniently got to everyone's favourite task 11 last night, so I can put the Exp All to good use straight away, and continue on with my streak and start making a dent in my Battle Tower/Subway achievements.

I loved Sonic games when I was younger. I mean, I still play some of them now and again but not to the magnitude as I did then. I think I racked up well over 100ish hours on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Most of that was probably spent in the Chao Garden but hey, who's counting? But Sonic Adventure is probably by far my favorite. Tikal <3 Runner up would probably be Sonic Rush Aka that one game with Blaze in it.

I need to get a GBA because I still really want a Peridot jewel chao.

Now I want to play Sonic Rider Zero Gravity again. But if I do I have to start all over again because it's going to have to be on my WiiU. *Sigh*

I know most of the time on my file for SA2B is mostly spent in the Chao Garden.
And I need to play more Sonic Adventure DX. We've had the game forever, but I never really played it much. I always just watched my brother play it. I started a file on it not too long ago, but I haven't really progressed much on it. There's several other games that we have that I need to play myself. Sonic Heroes and Sonic 06 are some - I also need to play more of Sonic Rush. I started it, but I haven't done much on that either (and I may start over Rush Adventure - I don't think I beat that one myself either).
Ooh, and Sonic Riders! I remember I loved playing that game! I also remember not liking Zero Gravity as much - but I don't remember why. Those are some more games I need play again.
And I got Sonic Advance just for the Jewel Chao (and I think I have one so far - silver I think). I need to play it some more to get more rings for the Chao eggs. Though, not too long after I got this game my dad found a DS lite in a car he bought that had Trace Memory and another Sonic Advance in it (and according to the activity log on my 3DS, iirc it says I beat Trace Memory in 9 hours and I only opened it once ).

Leaving me to deal with the 90+ degree heat. I actually moved my computer down stairs where its cooler other wise i was gonna die trying to talk to everyone. If it isnt hot enough down stairs it 3 times as hot up stairs.

Anyone else dealing with insane heat this week? If so do you enjoy it or want it to rain? Id love summer to be over already even though it just begun. Cold snowy nights~ thats my kind of life.

I spent 15 minutes at the store today playing with the new lotto machine they got. It's freaking amazing and sleek. I've never seen a lotto machine with a touch screen. I was very impressed with it *didn't get any tickets though since i'm not 18 yet*

Well, I've been trying to have a full living dex on AS, so I've been breeding some Pokemon to get ones I'm missing. And at Battle Resort, I noticed that if you go to certain spots on the edge of each side (before the camera spins) and hold up, your character will go in an endless loop. Fill your party with eggs and a Pokemon with Flame Body and ride the Mach Bike and you can hatch eggs in no time without having to really pay attention to the game.
I always have a Japanese (iirc) Ditto in the daycare and just switch out different Pokemon into it for breeding (so higher chance of shiny), and when I looked back at my screen once one of the eggs hatched:

So this was a pleasant surprise!

I was thinking of what to name it, and my instant thought was "Gold" but I was like "nah" so then the next word that came to mind was "Lemon" and I thought "sure."
So it's name is Lemon.

Well my week went down hill. I was suppose to go down to Indiana but plans got changed and I couldnt go. I spent so much time packing I took time off aswell :<

We got like, a random thunder storm/hail/funnel cloud weather the other night. Pretty interesting to watch inbetween moving everything ahaha. I usually HATE storms but it was pretty neat since we were on the farm. Weather here is so damn fickle!

I think I might EV train or shiny hunt some pokemon in AS, since game wise I have nothing else to do

I took the SAT on Saturday and I don't know how I did. I got a 1080 on the first one I took and people have said to me that the second one is usually better, but I feel like it wasn't.

As for GPX I am furthering my current explore and will be working to level up some necessary Pokemon. So it'll be a relatively simple and relaxing day. I'd love to say it'll be a cool day, but I'm doubting that the Valley will cool down until next week at the earliest. LOL Currently it looks like we're only at 86 so... probably no true excessive heat today. Just a tad (or smidge) over 100 F. I can deal with that.

My living dex in Alpha Saphire is well under way. I was re-battling trainers last night on route 120 and I was awestruck by the stars reflected in the water everywhere.

I'm battling the Herculean task that is Getting Your Passport While Out of The Country That Grants Said Passport. I have to send authentified photos, get references, and send my original birth certificate by mail to the ambassy. I'm terrified the mail will get lost.

I'm on the Mansion of Gods exploration, and on task 6, you have to find two patrats in the shelter. I don't know if everyone is just doing this exploration or if there's not enough people hatching and releasing patrat's but I haven't been able to find the second patrat in over 2 days x-x

Well, today is my birthday. I have so much stuff to do in the morning why am I still up aurghlaugh.

I want to finish this drawing of mine before I hit the hay. (It's of a Serperior) Hopefully it will be slightly better sleep than last night when I fell asleep at 5 in the morning. It shall be a while before I drink a Red Bull again.

I got a Keldeo (Not a sparkle-mon though) for my event. Pretty sweet seeing that I don't have one yet. Now I can really procrastinate on that exploration.

I just finished 'task 11' for the first time since I got the Exp All, and I finished it so much quicker than I normally do. I'm almost at the 100 win streak mark in the Battle Subway! I've gotten so distracted by the Subway, I remembered I haven't finished getting all of the Furfrou combs yet...I should probably do something about that :P

The baby lovebirds I'm raising are doing well ^^ One of them has started to get his coloured feathers and looks like he's going to be green, like Zuko and Zazu. The younger one still only has her baby feathers so I can't tell her colour yet. They both spent most of last night cheeping, flapping their wings and trying to escape their nest, which kept me awake. Now today, I haven't heard a word from them and they are both sleeping soundly! Why couldn't they do that last night haha :P

I just reached a sub-milestone for me, I got into the top 1000 ^^. Next goal top 500!

My battle subway streak ended at 143 because of bad luck, my best before the 143 was like 30-ish so its alot better then it was. Eventually all teams get the same and it does get a bit boring. I did get alot of points from the gems I got though, and it is great for increasing your overall rank.

This poor guy has been poisened, it needs Pecha Berries to survive. (Sidenote, the pokemon is way to happy when you get him. I mean its state isnt that good is it? Maybe its happy because you encountered it?)

For the bad side of things though my Eevee jacket... One of the ears is falling off so i had to safty pin it for a temporary fix. I plan on sewing it after i learn how to tie the strings so my work dosent come apart like it did on the pocket... thats falling off too x) I guess i wear it too much? I just love it so much especially since its summer and its the lightest jacket i have.

On my way in to work this morning I was actually hoping to find an Amazon card at Wally World. Only, once I got to the store, I realized: Wally World don't sell Amazon cards. Weird, right? But! What they do sell.... Pokemon plushies.

So I looked at them. And wow! I wish my last name was Warbucks so I could have gotten them all! They not only had an original Eevee, but a number of Eevee lutions including... Flareon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, and Sylveon! My collection needs them all, but I knew I shouldn't get them all. It took me five minutes to decide, but in the end, I got:

In other news... I see my least favorite exploration is one of this month's options. While I know I need to revisit it (I've only done it 3 times), I've opted to go to Kyurem's hometown instead. That sweet trio is going to have to be on a long waiting list because dang! Those rotating battles (where you don't know which Pokemon you'll be versing and they always bait and switch on you) have really unnerved me and I think I'm going to skip it this month. Yeah. That's it. That's the ticket. So I'm off on another explore while searching for a Normal Pokemon for this week's hunt and hoping I might finish either my Dedenne or silent, non-shiny sentry hunt. I bet I get electrocuted before I walk into an armed guard. LOL

I went to the cinemas last night and saw Hunt for the Wilderpeople. It was really good and so funny! I'd definitely recommend watching it if anyone gets the chance. It was made and produced in New Zealand so I thought it was also a nice change of pace from the normal Hollywood movies you see at the cinema. Also, Finding Dory comes out in a week! I'm looking forward to seeing it, hopefully it is as good as Nemo ^^

As for long shiny hunts, my longest at the moment is Cherubi at just under 700 eggs, which isn't that bad. I've only had two hunts ever that went over 1000 eggs: Eevee at ~1050 eggs and Winter Vulpix at ~1100 eggs.

@Mamanator I have the same Leafeon plushie I have all of the Eeveelution plushies (minus Eevee and Sylveon) like that. The Eevee and Slylveon ones I have are mini plushies.

Worst shiny hunts? Hmm... *looks through shine recorder*
I currently have a Bagon hunt from September 2013 SWSH that's at 890 eggs. I'm hoping this'll make it to the 1000 mark for the achievement.
But the worst for my completed hunts is a Pumpkaboo from November 2014 SWSH at 549 eggs. That one's not too bad though.

I was at Walmart just a little bit ago and I was looking at the Pokemon section and it is so freaking tiny and it bothers me. You can look to the left of it and there's this whole section for Minecraft (which is understandable, it's super popular), then you look to the right and there's a big spot for Yokai Watch and I'm just ????? I've heard that game is getting sorta popular, but I believe Pokemon is more well known, so I don't get why there's not more Pokemon toys.
There were no Pokemon plushies, and that last time I was there there were only 2, a Minun and a Pichu. Both were in the wrong place (though, there didn't seem to be a spot for the Pokemon plushies) - Minun was with the Yokai Watch plushies and Pichu was over at the end of the isle in the Ninja Turtle section (I might have gotten the Minun if there was a Plusle to get with it, but there wasn't ).
So I was pretty disappointed with the selection. I finally have money from my birthday, buy now it seems like I can never really see anything that I want anymore.

Oh really? I new it was coming out soon, but I didn't know that soon. I'm looking forward to it, too.

But my worst shiny hunt was my personal challenge, it was Feral Zergoose with 402 eggs, and it lasted for 3 1/2 years.

I had several hunts above 1000 though, like my Rattata hunt recently at 1300 eggs.

The news this morning was reporting about how pet shops are concerned over the Finding Dory movie. They remember all too well what happened after Finding Nemo came out. They're worried that people won't understand the level of involvement with such a fish. Hopefully the pet shop employees will be well versed (or have someone on site who is) in explaining it all to the parents of the kids wanting a Dory fish. It sounds ludicrously expensive for sure, but hopefully the true fish owners know and understand and want that commitment. As for me, personally? I'd rather get a small dog. *blush*

In relation to GPX news, I just scrapped by the latest exploration battle. It would seem I need to add "must start off with a fighter/fire type to begin with". I started with a fire Pokemon and that didn't go well. So next time I'll know better and (hopefully) find a stronger Pokemon to lead with. But! I did manage to win the battle... yay! ... and now I have this poor, frozen teddy bear that is in need of our help. So if you happen to have a sour sort of sense to the Beartic, could you please toss this teddy an Aspear berry? His sour disposition over being frozen to a bear-sicle might thaw if we can help him out.

My longest hunt is Litwick at 1,700. Second longest is Scatterbug at 1,452. There's nothing like the "I never want to see a [insert name] egg ever again" feeling though

I'm still waiting for one of my legendary hunts to complete...that have been sitting on my counter since November 2011. The interesting thing is that my Fake Groudon hunt was the first to complete...!!

In other news my workplace is celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday tomorrow. Which is cool but a bit weird at the same time. London's going to be manic on the Saturday as well, so I'm avoiding it by going to a friend's barbecue...who actually lives just around the corner from me

The longest shiny hunt I had was 502 eggs. I'm okay with that they just seem to stretch out because I suck at egg management.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes once again. I was rather busy yesterday so now I can actually do interweb stuffs. My Coworkers decided to throw a small surprise party for me at work yesterday. Kinda bittersweet in the end because one of the assistant managers is leaving to a different store and she was kinda the biggest help with my family issues. They also gave me a cake. Now I have half of two different cakes. It's like my 7 year old self's dream.

Alright, so I finally finished drawing my Pokemon Trainer Bonnie Clyde (from which I got my username). I've redrawn this character (and some others) many times, but I finally feel satisfied with how this design looks.

Once I finished, I made a quick doodle of her on my phone *points to avatar*
I was just making the doodle for fun and I wasn't going to keep it, but then I liked how it turned out.

Man, it feels good to progress on things. I need to do it more often.

But now that I'm done with that... *wonders what to do*

On another note, my brother finally brought over his little puppies! They already got rid of some, so there is only 2 of them now. But oh my god, they are so tiny and adorable! I'm gonna try to take a few pics of them soon and share them with you guys.

EDIT: Oh, I guess the Trainer Club Mew codes are starting to get sent out now. I haven't received mine yet, though. *hopes it doesn't take too long*

Returned from the con and I'M EXHAUSTED
I had 5 cups of coffee there and I'm more tired than I been the past 3-4 weeks in which I had LESS coffee (maybe 1-2 cups a day)

Sadly the IA movie was canceled due to technical difficulties.
BUT I got myself a handmade mew plush, 2 Mekakucity Ene keychains, and 1 Hoppou (Kancolle) Nendoroid

Just checked GPX+ and I got the 3rd place, aka 3 more prize pts = 1 more blue stone
(since I had almost enough for 1 again already)

Pretty happy with that

All with all a good day (and my mom said it's ok if we go to another event to see IA)

I knew the dog thing was... a dog thing. I'm not really fond of its muzzle, but I like it otherwise. Also, it's a rock type, and I'm glad to see a more subtle representation of that type.

Koala thing is cute, too.

Regarding earlier posts about longest shiny hunts, mine was definitely Skrelp at 1703 (I think) eggs. Absolutely horrible.

Really like Iwanko. Looks like it could be an early game Pokemon, but hell yeah I'm getting one. Nekkoala is ehh, but it has a really interesting ability of Definite Sleep, which prevents it from getting any status other than sleep. Iwanko and Nekkoala are both so adorable I can see me using Iwanko in my initial game run through team ^^ I'll have to see what Nekkoala's evolution/s look like before I decide to use it. Hopefully they don't make it a buff fighting type, and keep its cute sleepyness :P It could even be cool if they made an evolution of it part grass type, and it was holding a big eucalyptus leaf or something

Oh, today is my 2nd anniversary on GPX+. ^^ I'm glad with how much I managed to accomplish in that time (considering I was on a hiatus for a bit). Being 280th in total rank is quite good, imo (although I feel like I'm stuck on that rank)

Regarding longest hunts, mine was one of my Raltses - 1134 eggs.
Also, I'm on the last task of TBD! Yay! ^^
+ I'm so close to getting SN achievement - 69/75.

About the new pokémon, I'd like to point out that Iwanko is probably a popular pet choice in Alola, which makes it a pet rock :V

Both the puppy and Nekkoala are really cute; I wonder about their evolutions. I see Iwanko becoming a big dog like Stoutland, but I hope Nekkoala is a single stage, I don't really see it evolving.

Remember how idk how long ago, a couple weeks or so, some guy went into the source code of the official Pokemon site, and they found "fighting" and "ground" type images there?
If the dog is ground.... and the koala is fighting (the little thing with the stars)
Then doesn't that just mean the typing referred to them and not to the starters' evolutions?

I was just looking at the new Pokemon a little bit ago and they're absolutely adorable! The picture of the dog on the left makes it look even cuter (on the pic that has 3 different pics of the dog). I love both of them so much and I too will be catching them asap (although I will have to eventually to keep up my living dex ). I also saw the Zygarde forms in-game and the move did look pretty cool (and the 10% dog is quite cute too).

And I received my Mew code earlier today and entered it into AS. I'm still really glad that they sent these codes through the emails since I missed Mew in February.

Also apparently they're are giving away shiny Mewtwo to people that compete in the video game competitions and get a play Pokemon point. I may join just to get that (but I definitely won't be very good ).

Also, I got some pictures of my bro's pups!

@Luneon: It says the dog is rock and the koala is normal though.

I guess, but I figured that if they were relevant to these two Pokemon, it would also/instead have the rock and normal type pictures.
But Idk. I guess we'll just have to wait and see once more Pokemon are revealed.

In other news, I spent way too much time in the pool yesterday and now I'm sore, sunburned, and tired.
But I think I turned my sleep back around though, so I guess that's a plus.

EDIT: Also I kinda expect the koala to evolve into a big fierce-looking bear *points to Ursaring, Beartic, and Pangoro*
Though I kinda hope that it doesn't end up fierce-looking since it's the Dreaming Pokemon and retain it's gentle appearance. I'd also like if instead it didn't evolve, but I feel like it will.

Today kinda sucks with news. My mum pestered me about this news article about The Voice and how one of the contestants were shot dead, obviously sad until we read it and saw who it was.

Definitely a huge shock. Followed Christina on YouTube for quite a number of years so it's quite heartbreaking - especially as she's only some months older than myself.

The world really is full of nutcases.

I heard about that, too - also from my mom.
I never really listened to her much or anything, but she did seem like a good person from what I've seen of her. When my mom told me the news, all I could think is "what was the point?" I don't see why they would have any motivation to kill her.
Then when my mom said that she was 22 (I think), that was kind of upsetting since she didn't really get to live much of her life.
And yeah, there are a lot of psychos out there.

Yesterday was a bit of a slow day. I got woken up by dad around 8(he has no volume control whatsoever). I decided to give myself 5 minutes sleep and I'd wake up for the day. That 5 minutes turned into 2 hours . I guess I was more tired than I thought I was. I probably won't get very long to sleep in tomorrow, assuming dad does the same thing he did yesterday.

Anyways, sorry for my drop in activity. I frequent at the temporary place for the MSPA forums for Homestuck fans and the like until What Pumpkin gets the new MSPAF site up (shout-out if you're a MSPAF user too), in addition to my newfound addiction to Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and me hosting my own Terraria and MineCraft servers, which are the reaons for my inactivity.

Speaking of MSPAF, apparently WP is getting the new MSPAF up right now. Unfortunately, there's not much hope of recovering the old threads and posts other than what was saved in the Wayback Machine. This particularly troublesome for some old forum adventures that weren't mirrored in some way.

I guess all we can do is try to rebuild. I would try to rant about all of this in the "Fate of the MSPA Forums" thread at the temporary MSPAF location, but I would simply be repeating what has already been said ever since the temporary place has been set up.

@Bonnie Clyde, those puppies are adorable Makes me want another dog even more! We were planning on getting one pretty soon, but mum decided that she wanted to wait until the end of the year instead.

Last time I posted some pictures of my latest baby lovebirds, one of them was still an egg, so here's what the babies look like now ^^

I also went and hung out with one of my friends this afternoon, and he has a pet bearded dragon so I had fun playing with it ^^ We also had a mini Assassination Classroom marathon so I'm slowly making progress with that (still only up to season one). Aside from watching the weekly episodes of Sakamoto desu ga and Bungou Stray Dogs, I've breen pretty slack with my anime watching lately ^^"

Well just finished up the Deoxys exploration and got the Speed form. It was a lot easier this time around, I found the Pokemon I needed for tasks quite easily. I guess there weren't a lot of people on the tasks I was on, so they weren't all snapped up.

I decided to start the Keldeo exploration and this poor Suicune needs some Sweet berries:

Some of the tasks for this one I had to grab the base Pokemon and level them up. There weren't any Braviary in the shelter so it took a while to get a Rufflet high enough in the Pokewalker.

Good morning Everyone. What a horrific weekend worldwide it has been. I didn't follow who that "The Voice" contestant was, but it is always disturbing to hear that someone was taking violently from this world. And to hear her age... it is sickening. To top that off with yesterday's events in Orlando... we were in Flagstaff when the news came on about it and I'm just dumbfounded. When someone's hate grips them so tightly that they can do something like that... I don't understand. My heart is worried for that one mother whose son was in the bathroom texting her as I don't know if he got out alive or not, but I'm praying for all the families involved.

It has been a rather tragic series of days, hasn't it? My thoughts go out to those in Orlando. People go out to have a good time, and then that happens. One thing that was really wonderful to see was how many people were donating water, snacks, and other stuff through Amazon Now. Not just in Orlando, but all over the country. Very heartwarming.

GPX-wise, I jumped back into DotW. If I am to complete it this month, I might as well work on it now.

I wonder what to shiny hunt now. Except for Crystal Onix, I cleared out my entire Shine Recorder. Perhaps I'll focus on a single gen at a time or something.

Indeed, the world has experienced not one but multiple tragedies today. I've never heard of The Voice or anybody associated with it, but the victim sounded like a such a sweet and caring girl.

The one that hit closer to home for me was the Orlando shooting. It's horrible people would flat-out kill people just based on sexuality, like anybody who isn't hetero deserves to die. Being friends with people who are homosexual and bisexual, I know that they're just as human as any heterosexual, and killing humans is murder.

I really don't understand what's wrong with people.
When I first opened up Google Chrome on my laptop yesterday, I noticed it had the black ribbon towards the bottom of the screen, so I hovered over it and it said something about victims in Orlando and I just wondered "what happened?" I didn't look into it, but later my mom was looking at an article or something over it and gave me a few details. I always thought it was ridiculous to discriminate against people with different sexualities (or other things), but to kill them for being that way? That's just completely absurd. I don't get what would make someone want to do that.

Well, on to something more positive: Those are some really pretty birds, eevee64! (and it sounds like they have some bad parents lol) And they do indeed look really soft.

I came across the prankster for the first time today! I already hatched the egg a little while ago. Korechu sure is a cutie.

Also for some reason when I turned my laptop on today, my wallpaper was reset to the original one and my icons were moved and everything. I don't know what caused it, but I restarted it and everything was back to normal. I think this has happened a few times before. It's really weird how it just happens randomly.

lol, it does kinda freak me out. My computer is sorta oldish (not really old, but I've had it long enough so it trips out every once in a while), so when this happens I'm just like "oh god my computer has deleted my stuff" or something. And it takes a little bit for it to restart, so the wait becomes a little stressful.

I also found my external keyboard, so now I don't have to worry about wrecking my expensive laptop's keyboard when I do DotW. Plus, I can lean back and click if I want to. Keyboard's more comfy, too.

Happy Poke Hunt Day Everybody!

Hopefully today will be a more positive day and the investigation in Orlando will show that the event wasn't anything organized by a group but the mad ramblings of a single so-called person. I call them so-called because, in my opinion, there is definitely something broken about your human nature when you want to go and do something like that.

In GPX news I have moved on to the last task of feeding a very hungry legendary. I didn't reach out yesterday afternoon as I didn't have anything of import to add to the plea, but here I am this morning. Looking at my half burnt legendary and thinking: ok. This poor guy needs a leg up. Or wing up. Or berry up. LOL So if you happen by him, he's real bitter at me for not asking for help yesterday. In fact, I think he snapped at me and is feeling real ornery and bitter at the moment. So if you happen to have a Rawst berry that might fill him up and he'll heal up and be less bitter. We'll see.

I'm also attempting to successfully get into this week's hunt, but have already failed with finding the level of egg that I like to search for. So I'll probably end up using my failed (but continuing) SWSH Pokemon, that Elusive Shiny Sentry. I also like your shiny hunt method, Synx Itax. Going in order sounds like a great, straight forward approach. I think that, once I clear my two failed SWSH's I might follow suit and do the same.

So I was just watching them talk about Sun and Moon on E3. The gameplay looks really cool so far! They even have the NPC trainers standing behind the Pokemon during a battle, and they show what moves are effective or not effective against the opposing. Then there's two new Pokemon: Yungoos and Pipipek (the bird they showed in the very first trailer), and I already love the latter! There's also the new Battle Royal format, AND they're bringing customization back!

They also released another trailer and there's another new Pokemon named Grubbin, a Bug-type!

They showed off 3 new pokemon! Some new abilities. Pretty excited about the game tbh. Was a little on the fence but atm, I'll probably preorder.
Also, the bird pokemon will have 2 more evolutions and Grubbin looks like it'll be a electric bug when it evolves.
And, popplio evolution will probably be water/fairy since it learned disarming voice .

Overall, I like the changes. The new battle system. Being able to see stat changes easily and seeing move info right away instead of going into the summary is nice.



ALSO. When is the voucher going to be available? A couple of days doesn't equal 14 days ......


OH AND TUPU KOKO MIGHT BE A NEW LEGENDARY.?? 4 islands, and every island has their own guardian.

I was just visiting the Official Pokemon website and saw the 3 new Pokemon and battle royale arena. I might give that a try; we'll have to see. Also, I saw where select people, lucky ducks, will be getting a shiny Mewtwo. Makes me wish I was better at "real world" Pokemon battles. LOL

I'm definitely more interesting in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild over the new Pokemon info. I am in AWE of everything I've seen so far. The map is absolutely HUGE, I'm going to have a lot of fun trying to 100% the game. Speed run anyone, there's only 100+ Shrines to go through . I just wish they'd give a definite release date because 'sometime in 2017' is a wee bit vague.

I'm freaking out over the amiibo that they showed on the Treehouse stream, DO WANT.

I just watched the Sun/Moon E3 demo and I'm really loving the look of the game play! Even the simple things like what they've added to the battle interface and making the trainers stand behind the Pokemon in battle are really cool I'm also really looking forward to the new Battle Royale format. And yay trainer customisation is back!

Pikipek is adorable X3 Yungoos looks alright too. I'm interested to see if it will have any evolutions. Not that fussed on the look of Grubbin but I'm sure its final evolution will look cool ^^ So far, I'll probably use Rowlet, Pikipek and Iwanko in my initial party

Well, I FINALLY beat the genocide route on Undertale.
Not gonna spoil anything, but the final boss is freaking INSANE - but so is the rest of the game.
*is now waiting 10 minutes to start the game over* < those that have played know why.
But it's a relief that I finally beat that guy.

Ooh, and the voucher is usable! I'm so curious what the novelty is!

I'm watching the Pokemon E3 footage right now, but I can't say I'm very excited. :P Everything looks good, but any huge franchise that dependably doles out games is just not going to have me on the edge of my seat. Or embarassingly excited to the point of bouncing up and down in my chair like Psychonauts RoR. Sigh.

(Now actually getting to play the game *is* exciting, so I'm still gonna preorder & hopefully get it on release day.)

Yeah, biggest thing of the E3 stuff were the three new pokes for me. Another new battle mode doesn't really get me interested. Hopefully that's just an online thing.

A lot of small quality of life additions though, that's actually nice, nothing exciting but nice to have.

Oh wow, thanks for the heads up. The 'egg' sprite looks great, and you can guess which Pokemon it's based off from the silhouette dex preview. Sweetness.

I think it'a really cute how Pikipek is based on a woodpecker, makes you wonder if its evolution(s) will look like that too.

I was at work all yesterday, so I'm only getting the info second-hand. One thing I did see is a new Rosalina amiibo Zelda looks really interesting as well.

During the livestream, the woman asking the questions asked if they can talk about the bracelets, and they replied not yet or something like that.
Plus, the bracelets were in some promotional material.

Good morning everyone. I saw the notice about the artifact voucher being ready for use. Once I find this egg I need I'll probably look into redeeming mine. In my quick clicks I did see a few "odd" eggs show up (at least I think they were eggs, LOL) so those seem really fascinating! I can't wait to see what comes of them.

I'm on a rather simple explore at the moment but, sadly, am stuck until a breeder releases who I need or the Lab makes room for this egg to come through. *sigh* I've spent the majority of my time searching fruitlessly for this green dragon and hope that I'll come across one soon. *fingers crossed*

I spent my morning searching the Lab and Shelter for my dragon's egg and came up totally fruitless. After a 5 minute search and realizing that I no longer had the dragon in my own Poke Dex, I finally came across one in the Safari. So she's in the daycare now with Ditto and, hopefully, she'll be "in the mood". LOL

I had to shell out a few prize points to get all three of those. The SWSH one gave me a Dark Device. I still have a couple left over from when I was trying to get them all. I also finished up the scavenger hunt task.

A lot of people keep saying that Pikipek reminds them of Pearl from Steven Universe, and I can see the resemblance.

Well I just blew 120 Prize Points trying to get all 3 items from the Artifact Voucher. I am now down to 115 Prize Points. So much for saving them to get another Legend Voucher Plus .

While trying to find an Igglybuff egg in the Shelter for today's task, I ended up snagging something better. A Cypress bred Moltres egg . This has been the first Cypress bred legendary egg I've gotten in like 2 years. I didn't think I was going to get it but I did.

Finished today's scavenger hunt task as well, I ended up using a Cherrim [Bud]. It took a while to level it up, the Mobile Walker isn't all that great on an iPhone. It didn't help that I only had a 30 minute lunch break so I couldn't click as much as I wanted. The task was a doozy but at least I finished it.

I've been using my prize points to buy Twinkies for a Shiny Pudgy Pidgey hunt, but I caved and bought two more Artifact Vouchers to go with my one from the SWSH, and luckily I got one of each of the Artifacts

All this typing of the word 'artifact' has made me realise that in British/Australian English you're meant to spell it 'artefact'...I did not know that. I was wondering why Chrome was red underlining 'artifact' every time I typed it. I guess I just learned something haha. Though I think 'artifact' looks better than 'artefact' :P

I really need to get a move on in Fire Emblem Fates...I've had it for almost a month now and I'm barely half way through Birthright, and still have to do Conquest and Revelation. At this rate I'm going to struggle to finish it all before Sun and Moon come out and if that happens, I'm not going to know what to do with myself haha ^^"

You need to make sure you raise the pokemon from the egg stage, if you just adopt an Oddish from the safari zone it won't count towards progressing.

There was news about a boy being killed by an alligator at the Florida Disney Resort. It was sad. It has been a tragic past few days, and I hope the tragedies come to a stop.

Yeah all the news from Orlando is quite depressing. May those souls affected find peace.

Anyways, I completely missed the part of the scavenger hunt being yesterday. In my defense the highish level I would need to have for that Pokemon would have been hard for me to reach seeing as I had to work rather early.

Speaking of that I finally got a full time spot (even though for most of the year I was working full time hours. lol) and the correct wage that I was supposed to get. Turns out the old manager had really left a mess of that for our new one and she's been correcting that. Seeing as I wasn't the only one to get corrected makes me rather cheesed off at him. Luckily that's behind us now.

I got a bell from the voucher. I loved that episode. <3

Nope. Definitely just luck based. *sigh*

I had 3 vouchers and just turned them in. One at a time. My first was the Urn and I got that fossil and turned it into an egg. The second was an Old Bell and I did the same. Turned the fossil into an egg. On the third try, I got another Old Bell. So that one is sitting in the "queue", for all accounts and purposes. With any luck my UG Pokemon will be kind to me and I'll get another one (not sure if they'll come back with the voucher or an actual fossil). So we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Hey Everybody! It's been a rather busy day for me which is why I hadn't gotten out here sooner. I finished my Ditto explore and (if you couldn't guess) tried my luck with the vouchers. Not bad! Love em! I think I know what comes from them as I've seen a few "odd" Pokemon popping up today in my quick clicks, but that's ok. It'll be interesting to see how my odd Pokemon come out.

So these 3 items... they're all from older, long forgotten Pokemon series episodes? Really?! Wow! That is too! cool!

TGIF Everyone!

I was very shocked when I tuned in this morning and found my IV 125 Golurk placed 2nd. Wow!! Was so expecting a 3rd place showing so... *coddles extra prize points* Yay!

I was lucky enough to find an egg for today's scavenger hunt, too. Pretty painless in doing that and, given the level I need to raise it to on a non multiplier day.. definitely happy to see that I found the egg quickly.

I'm not sure if I'm going to start up a new exploration or what. Tonight we have my daughter's high school graduation party and tomorrow I have to, some how, wake up early to help my hubby go get his DPS vehicle from the lot. Not sure how active I'm going to be so I might just idly click about and worry over another exploration come Monday. *blush*

Sometimes it pays to not do explorations and just collect random eggs - and even summoning random eggs. Because then? Then you get random achievements unlocked:
