Name: Lanette Saital
Age: 17
Hometown: Alto Mare, Johto
Appearance: Despite what others think, Lanette’s crimson hair is natural. The result of a birth defect, what would’ve been cherry blonde became striking red, making her an oddity among the other girls. Whatever fates controlled beauty blessed her with striking features, her face smooth and perfectly shaped. Her skin is silky and slick in appearance, a colorful but at the same time pasty tan color. Lanette’s ears are round and her nose is slightly pointed.
Her typical outfit, when she isn’t in a contest, consists of a lime-green tank-top and long white jeens, cut at the ankles. She also wears brown sandals and always has a black armband around her wrist. When she wants to dress up for a contest, her favorite dress is a large red ballroom gown, complete with matching headdress and a wand with a small ruby-colored fixture upon it. The dress, obviously, matches her hair.
Personality: Lanette is passionate and fiery, always determined to do her best, even in hopeless or otherwise difficult situations. Although contests are more her style, she’ll never decline a challenge when it’s presented. When she isn’t in a competitive zone, she’s one of the most pleasant and compassionate people one could meet, and she cares greatly for others’ feelings. When she can, she helps, even if it’s a complete stranger, and no matter the job. She rarely gets angry, and when she does, it’s short lived and quiet. Lanette’s quick to forgive and forget, and is honest and kind.
Biography: Born to a struggling family of four, Lanette was the youngest of two siblings and her widowed mother. Growing up, her only male role model was her eldest sibling, Jason. Her mother was always distraught and stressed, working almost all around the clock to make ends meet. At age three, Lanette’s ten year-old brother went off to try his hand at being a pokemon trainer, coming back after only a year to help the family. Soon after, when Lanette was seven, her older sister, Mylissa, also tried to go on an adventure, but came back even sooner than Jason had.
Alto Mare was not a great place to Lanette. Having lived there her entire life, the sights of the town didn’t impress her anymore, and she wanted to see the world. So, at eleven, she also left on her own adventure, expecting to make a success of herself. And she did, but it came in an unorthodox fashion. Soon after leaving home, Lanette found a quaint little dress shop and decided to look around, not having too much money to spend. But she found a dress that just clicked with her, and she knew she had to have it. Asking the cashier how much, she found it would cost her all the money she had.
She bought the dress. Immediately following, she left the little town and made her way to Azalea Town. On the outskirts of town, she ran into a young man by the name Vincent Lance, an aspiring young trainer having trouble raising his Totodile. Lanette offered to help train the young man’s pokemon for a short time, and after about a week, the unruly Totodile was tamed. Lanette had grown quite fond of the young man, Vincent, and decided to travel with him for a little while. They talked to one another about life and future plans, having as great time. Vincent even helped Lanette catch her second pokemon, a young Burmy hanging in a low tree.
Eventually, Vincent parted with her when their paths split, Lanette going to Hoenn and Vincent going to Kanto. Half a month into her adventure, Lanette made a choice to collect contest ribbons, and so she did. Her Burmy worked extremely well with her Beautifly, and together the three obtained three ribbons. Lanette headed home as fast as she could to brag to her family, only to find her brother home.
“Jason,” Lanette started, coming through the front gate, “where’s mom? And Mylissa?”
“Gone,” Jason said evenly. “They packed up and left.”
“Without you?” Lanette asked, unable to think of anything else to ask.
“Yes, without me. Someone had to stay and hold down the fort.”
“Well, what happened?”
“Mother fell gravely ill, so Mylissa took her to Verdanturf in Hoenn.”
Ironically, Lanette had just been there not even two months before. “Shoot, I missed them!”
“Well, I just got the word the mother won’t recover,” said Jason, adding to the already bad news. “Mylissa will be staying with her.”
“Well, I can’t stay here,” Lanette thought aloud. Then she remembered that Vincent, the boy from Johto, had offered to let her come live with his father if anything ever happened to her. So she headed that way, going straight to Sinnoh and looked up Mr. Lance’s number, finding him on a remote island just off the coast of Sandgem town. She waited there until she was seventeen, and Vincent finally came home, only to announce that he was leaving again. She decided to go with him, having been told that there would be contest halls in this new region he was going to.
And the boy was sorta cute. Why not go with him, right?

Name: Govannon
Age: 22
Hometown: Pewter City
Appearance: Govannon stands at 5'10''. His long black jacket isn't that much shorter, reaching down to his knees. Beneath this he usually wears a dark buttoned up shirt (but this is rarely seen since the buttons on his jacket, which are around his waist and chest, are usually done up) and black trousers, tailor made so that they're just the right height above his perfectly shined shoes.
Govannon himself has a light tan, although only so much that it looks like a normal skin tone. Part of this is due to his skin being contrasted to his deep brown eyes and jet black hair. He has it cut regularly, keeping it fairly short and easy to manage.
Personality: Govannon has a great love of pokémon but this isn't usually extended to people. He's not a misanthrope at all, but prefers his privacy and independence. This is partly due to a high (although arguably justified) opinion of his own abilities and other people's abilities to mess things up. He's still polite and civil however, but would rather that other people didn't get involved in his studies unless he knows they're competent, which is what makes him independent since he rarely does anything but research and raising pokémon. He doesn't like being distracted from his studies and research though, and is very easily annoyed. He won't get angry at people when annoyed but won't bother hiding it.
He's interested by history and pokémon. History of pokémon is easily his favourite subject. These interests most likely come from visiting the Pewter Museum in his youth.
Biography: Govannon was always an only child but it never seemed that way. Him and his parents often visited his father's brother's family in Celadon City. They had a daughter a few years older than Govannon, named Amy, who was more like a sister since they first met when he was only an infants It was on a trip to Viridian Forest when they were 10 that Govannon found his first pokémon. The pair of them came across an abandoned egg. It was in tatters, it had cracks on it and was clearly unwanted. They tried to find any pokémon it might belong to but none took it. They could only assume that it had been abandoned by a trainer, so took it to the pokémon centre to get it checked over. Everything was fine, and with a little care from Govannon it hatched into a Pichu a few weeks later. She and Govannon were inseparable, and have been ever since. When Govannon was 13 Pichu evolved into Pikachu, and three years later he invested in a Thunderstone and evolved her into Raichu. Shortly afterwards he returned to Viridian Forest and caught a Pikachu, a male one. Besides Raichu he went to Viridian Forest alone. By this point him and Amy had drifted apart. They hadn't fallen out, but their parents just weren't visiting so much and weren't a close friends they had been earlier in life.
Govannon's family had always been very well off. They didn't splash the cash and live a life of luxury, which was probably what helped them stay wealthy, but lived in a nice house and when they wanted it money was always there in abundance. When Govannon decided to move out aged 17 they bought a large house for him, and gave him enough money to use it how he liked. He used the money to help him study pokémon, building rooms designed for different types to live comfortably. The garden backed onto the forest and was inhabited by many bug and bird pokémon. Since he started his career as a pokémon breeder he raised a lot of pokémon in the centre, including the offspring of his pet Pikachu and Raichu. Pichu was too much of a handful however and needed a trainer to take care of her, not someone who stayed indoors all day working. Pichu was sent to his cousin Amy, who had become a teacher by this point. It was given to one of her students, Malcolm Smith, in return for spending more time working and less time playing with his pet Pidgey.
When Govannon was 22 the centre was almost empty. Besides his personal pokémon (Pikachu, Raichu and Mime Jr, who he obtained from a visitor to the centre in a trade for a Growlithe he caught on his travels) the only one left was Charmeleon, not counting any that strayed into the garden. Things seemed dull until someone arrived with an interesting discovery. Govannon had developed a local reputation for knowing quite a bit about pokémon, causing the owner of a Charmander egg to visit him. The egg was no ordinary egg however, it was much smaller than normal. It was a little over half normal size and apparently came from an island where the pokémon where equally miniature. This island was near a far off region called Furoh. Govannon's curiosity at this relatively new discovery got the better of him. He gathered the pokémon and locked up the shelter, making his way to study these pokémon and find out what made them this way. It was the first time he'd left Kanto but he wouldn't be gone for much longer than he was for any other trip, maybe a month or two at most. At least, that's how he planned it.

Name: Nate Guzman
Age: 20
Hometown: Petropolis
Appearance:
At 5 feet, 5 inches, Nate is a pretty small guy. He even has a young looking face with little facial hair, causing him to look very much like a 15 or 16 year old. This does not stop him from wearing grown man sized clothing, however. He wears shirts and sweatshirts that are very baggy, though his pants are pretty well fitting. He shaves his head when his hair starts to grow out more than a little, but when you can see it, it's black. He has a high pitched voice and a really sweet smile.
Personality: Nate is loud. Quite simply, he loves the sound of his own voice and he loves to pick fights. That combination is quite deadly, especially for a guy so tiny. Growing up in the urban areas of Petropolis, he got into a lot of fights and lost a conservative majority of them. Realistically, he didn't win any. Even still, he continues to pick them, and tries to be as intimidating as possible. He's sort of like a blowfish, except instead of physically inflating himself, he does so verbally. Others might call it a Napoleonic Complex, but I'm not sure they know who Napoleon was in Furoh. Talk aside, Nate is actually a really nice guy and even somewhat of a romantic once you get to know him. He doesn't let many people in, however.
Biography: He grew up in a rather poor part of Petropolis. He went to school sometimes, but the whole experience really was quite miserable and there wasn't enough pressure from his family to keep going. In fact, his father mentioned, half jokingly (but also half seriously) that he should just drop out of high school and get a job to help the family. Nate probably would have if it weren't for his girlfriend at the time, Julia, who really wanted him to stay in school. His senior year, however, he barely passed, while Julia got a full ride to a great university in Kanto. The notion that he could go to college hadn't even crossed his mind until Julia said her goodbyes and went off to work at being successful, while he got a job at the Raging Tauros, a burger place walking distance from his house.
It didn't take a week for him to realize the restaurant business was not for him. Well, maybe it could have been, but not working the fries. He wanted to own a business. Restaurant, insurance, it didn't matter. He wanted money and this barely above minimum wage job just was not cutting it. But there was little else to do. His parents were kicking him out now that he was 18, and so he had to find a place to live an work full time, leaving him literally no time to think about continuing school, and really, he didn't consider himself smart enough to go back. And he was pretty much right about that. Petropolis Independent School District clearly failed young Nate.
He had always been interested in pokemon. Pokeballs were fairly expensive, though, and so he could never actually catch one. But one of his favorite things to do when he was a kid was to get together with some friends and go to the richer side of town and watch the rich kids pokemon battle. Specifically, there was one time when he, as a 10 year old, stole a kid's empty pokeball, hoping it would have a pokemon inside already. There was not one, however, and so he was determined to use it to catch one of his own. That's when he hiked with a group of friends to the beach and caught himself a krabby, which na named Pinch.
He and Pinch spent a lot of time together when Nate was a kid, but they didn't do a lot of battling since his neighbors didn't have pokemon, and he didn't want to risk the dangers of fighting wild pokemon. So for a while, Pinch was more like a pet.
Flash forward eight years to when Nate graduated high school and got a job. In most of his down time, he was looking for an apartment, but one weekend, about a month after graduation, he took a weekend and got a ride to Fidona specifically to test Pinch's power and see if he couldn't catch himself a cool new pokemon. It was expensive, but he went out and bought himself a pokeball. This trip resulted in the capture of Numel, which he nicknamed "Da Bomb," perhaps for its fire attributes.
At 20 years old, he works 40 hours a week and rarely battles with his two pokemon. He does hang out with them at his apartment (which he lives in alone) but they are more like pets than partners. That was until one day when he took a cigarette break at the Raging Tauros. He didn't have a lighter, though, so he pulled out Da Bomb's ball, summoned him, and got him to to cast a small ember on the cigarette. It was a little too big, but it ended up being alright. This was not out of the ordinary. Having a fire pokemon had those kinds of perks. What made that day different, however, was who oversaw.
It looked like a group of men on their lunch break, coming to get a burger before a meeting or something, but they talked to Nate about his pokemon and asked him why someone with such a powerful pokemon was doing something so menial for money. Long conversation short, they convinced him to join the nefarious Team Deception. He was partnered up with another new recruit, Justin Smart. Together, they made up Unit 101. Both were given a shadow pokemon to commemorate their joining. Nate's was a very young teddiursa.

Name: Thomas Hawk.
Age: 14
Hometown: Pheanac City (Orre) But he now lives in Gigarte.
Appearance:
Thomas is thin and light. He's about medium height. He has blond hair, which is quite dark, so more like a very light brown, and green eyes. He wears a blue/black striped T-shirt, white trousers and brown shoes. He is quite strong, and not very fast, although he can run quite fast if the need arises.
Personality: Thomas is nice to anyone he meets, even strangers. He's always been this way, mostly due to his loving upbringing. Thomas has a thirst for battles, and is couteous, if sly, to his opponents. He loves his Pokemon dearly. to him, each and every one is as important as the others. He has distinct thoughts about right and wrong. He's quite competitive, but not overly so. And an important thing about him; luck seems to follow him wherever he goes. Thomas, although only 14, already is very mature for his age, and the fact that nothing too bad has happened to him, unlike Alex, has improved this trait. However, he is still very young at heart, and misses his mother deeply, so often likes to go back to visit her.
Biography: Thomas was born into a normal family in Orre, one year after the fall of the Ein institution. He therefore has heard many fantastic stories of Shadow Pokemon, but to him they are legends, not reality. He instead concentrates his life on being a Pokemon trainer. As a child, he was never too fussed abut winning any sort of Pokemon League or GRand Festival. He just loved Pokemon and wanted to train them up. Once he was ten, he went to visit a little Lab where some scientists gave away free Pokemon for ten year olds wanting to start their journey. Tom received a Pichu, anmd called it Rai. From then on, Tom worked very hard to train and catch more Pokemon, so much so that within only three days of capturing his second Pokemon, Rose the Budew, both his happiness evolutions occured.
A couple of years later, at the age of twelve, a famous Trainer Known as James Mack came in the visit Gigarte. Mack was and still is a renowned Pokemon Co-ordinator. His aim was to seek out the rarest of Pokemon, Shony Pokemon. The only Pokemon that James Mack owned that was non-shiny was his starter Pokemon, Mudkip. Mack owned around thirty Pokemon at the time, including his team of his favourite Pokemon Marshtomp, shiny Bayleef, shiny Charmeleon, shiny Swellow and two shiny Staryus, one of which was ready to evolve, the other being much weaker at level 10.
During his visit, Mack was demonstrating Co-ordination skills, and he sent out his Bayleef to do so. Some greedy boys ran on stage and grabbed the Bayleef. Tom knew these boys well, they'd tried to bully him without any sucess, so when Mack asked for help, Tom was the only one brave enough to do so. Tom found the boys and his Pokemon Beat them up, and he freed Bayleef. Mack was so grateful towards Tom for saving one of his best friends that he said Tom could have anything. Thomas shyly declined this, but Mack insisted, in the end giving him the weaker shiny Staryu that Tom still has to this day. Before leaving, Mack expressed his hopes and beliefes that Thomas would one day take up co-ordinating, and this lead Thomas to do what he does now. He met Alex shortly after, and they quickly became good friends.

Species: Tailow
Gender: Male
Level: 14
Moves: Supersonic, Peck, Wing attack, Focus Energy.
Breif Pers. and His.: Tweet was captured by Tom Hawk a few days after the capture of Rose, in roughly the same location. Tom sent out Rose to fight this Taillow, and immediately both refused to fight. By a remarkable turn of luck, the Taillow allowed Tom to capture it without struggle. Since then Rose and Tweet have seemed to get on brilliantly, as if they knew eachother before Rose's capture.
Items: Bag, Poketch, Great balls (5), 20 Pokéballs, a Phone, a bike.
Let's avoid the TM moves for now. They all seem overpowered at that level.
Otherwise, approved.
I edited the moves for you. I wrote this up ages ago, and I didn't look much at the Pokemon section. Anyway, the only TM move there now is Protect for Staryu. Roselai and Taillow each have a status-related egg move, Roselia's being Sleep Powder and Tailow's being Supersonic. I hope that that's OK.
Approved
Yes, but why did she go to Furoh of all places?
I'm in love with her sprite .
The ferry in Olivine was en route to Furoh, and she thought 'Why not?' Lux told me that Furoh is very far away from the other regions, so she'd probably find it safer to be there then somewhere like Kanto. Going back to Sinnoh would be fairly obvious.
And thank you. It took me a few hours to get everything right.
OK. Now add that to her Bio. Approved.
Name: Karen Spring.
Age: 18.
Hometown: Azalea Town.
Appearance:
-picture to come when I get around it-
Karen is tall and somewhat thin. She has sky-blue eyes, long brown hair reaching just above her waist but usually in a high ponytail and normally tanned skin for a eighteen year old. Her hair partially covers her left eye and her face is clear of any marks that stand out.
Karen can normally be seen wearing a somewhat dark green shirt with sleeves reaching up until half of her forearms covered by a black top. On the lower part of her body she wears light brown leggings as well as a pair of boots of the same color.
Karen also carries a small satchel (the same color as her shirt) that contains basic trainer equipment: potions, antidotes, medicinal herbs, spare Pokeballs, etc. She does, however, have a digital item storage account where she has a lot more items than she can carry.
Personality:
Determined, friendly and confident when Ashura's around, Karen can make a great companion. Essentially she likes to focus onto what she's doing and finish it no matter what. Her friends and Pokemon are also one of her main concerns, seeing how they're always there for when she needs them.
She likes finding and exploring all sorts of ruins and dungeons thanks to a field trip when she was little. She's clever enough to decipher the puzzles and traps of sorts from these locations but there are some times when the challenge just seems to too big to be handled alone.
She mostly relies on Ashura for battling, adopting a "hit them hard and fast" strategy which, taking in account Ashura's natural abilities, proves to be rather efficient to some degree.
Biography:
Karen was born and raised in Azalea for about twelve years. She didn't have much friends there due to her curiosity (mostly because it often led her to trouble), excluding Tyson Ealdwine, a kid who had lived there with his grandparents after losing his parents in an accident. They were great friends until the day they parted ways, she leaving for Unova while Tyson remained back in Azalea.
During her trip to the region of Unova the ship underwent a bit of a predicament. People who called themselves Team Plasma took said ship under control and with the united forces of the passengers they were defeated. Karen, however, still lacked any kind of Pokemon and thus a rich old man offered her a Scyther to help during the whole situation and, in the end, insisted that she could keep said Pokemon.
First thing Karen did when she got to Unova was to head straight to Relic Castle, some newly found ruins in the desert just above Castelia City. Ever since a school trip to the Ruins of Alph when she was little Karen was interested in archeology and ancient mythology and myths thus it was only natural this was the first place she visited in search of treasure of sorts. She found treasure, all right, if not a rather unusual one.
"Take me."
A gentle voice echoed through her mind, scaring her a bit. She turned to see a calm Riolu looking straight at her and Ashura next to a statue representing a Pokemon known as Liepard. The Emanation Pokemon was probably left there by some other trainer from another region, seeing how only Unova Pokemon were native to the region itself and seemed to be able to use telepathy to some degree. Not only that but his skills allowed him to sense both humans and nearby traps which could prove helpful. She took a Pokeball and, without any resistance, the Riolu accepted his new trainer.
A few years went by and news reached from a region called Furoh that new discoveries were constantly being made. As such Karen didn't think twice and traveled to yet another region, this time prepared with her two new partners.
It's going to be a great journey.
Starting Pokemon:
Name:Luke Undar
Age:15
Hometown:Jublife city/ Barley
Appearance:Luke has a well-built, muscular body but has unusually small hands for a person his size and has hardly any neck. He has blond hair that he lets grow long. He wears a black muscle shirt with a faux-fur trim and jeans, along with steel-toe boots. Normally he carries a stick with a red bandanna tied to is to hold his stuff. On his right hand he wears a fingerless glove and on he wears a digital watch he got when he was eight on his left wrist.
Personality:Despite his intimidating appearance, Luke is actually rather quiet and shy. He prefers to stay out of a fight if he can. He doesn't talk much, especially about his past, so it can be hard to tell what he's thinking at times. He is very close to his pokemon, but is willing to bond with others, too. At present he doesn't know what he is going to do with his life, but he means to find out.
In his spare time, Luke likes to read anything and everything he can get his hands on. From a cereal box to Shakespeare, he soak up any literature he can, though he mostly likes informational books. He's tried writing a few journals of his own, but its not easy since he lives on the streets of Barley. He would prefer to travel with a group than go alone, mostly for fear of running into a problem he can't tackle on his own.
Biography:Luke was born in a very wealthy family he had everything he ever wanted and more. They lived in a large mansion in Jublife City. It had a huge library, tons of rooms and a garden to explore. Various pokemon lived in the house as pets or roamed the garden, so he was never lonely even when his parents couldn't play, which wasn't often. The Undar parents adored their only child, and were almost always willing to play with Luke. Instead of shipping him off to boarding school, as was popular those days, they sent to a private school -the best, of course- in Jublife, so he could come home every day instead of just weekends. For his eighth birthday, he received A high-tech watch that would later serve as a reminder of his parents, and a pawniard he called Strall. The two of them spent all of their time that Luke was at home together. That is, until the fire.
It happened about a year after Luke had gotten Strall. The two were playing around in Luke's room when he smelled smoke. Suddenly the smoke detector started beeping. Luke grabbed strall and went straight to the door, which promptly burst into flames. He turned around and jumped out of his 1st story window. Besides the clothes on his back- including his watch- and Strall nothing was left. Even his parents hadn't made it out.
He was sent to his grandpa in Barley. Maybe it was because of his grandfather's sour attitude, no one knows. But one day early in the morning a few weeks later he grabbed some stuff and left. From then on he lived on the streets. Sometimes having to steal to live. Eventually he met more pokemon. First was Kreek, a ghastly had spent its whole life in an abandoned attic that Luke had snuck into to get out of a rainstorm. Next came Ego, a quilfish that Luke had befriended, then whoop, a chimchar he accidentally stole when trying to swipe a pokeball for ego. Finally, he met Arach, a skourpiki that had just been abandoned. A couple months after catching whoop, he met Kaya and after being offered to travel with her, agreed.
Goals:Find his calling
Fill up his empty journal with drawings and descriptions of plants.
Get whoop and Ego to stop fighting.

Name: Nymphadora 'Kat' Ubero
Age: 15
Hometown: Abundant Shrine, Unova
Appearance: Nymphadora is often described as having a slightly cat-like appearance. She stands at about 4'8", weighing in at 90 lb. She wears her golden-amber hair down at waist-length, straight as a ruler. But, at the top of her head, on both sides, it puffes up into equilateral triangles, bearing great resemblance to cat ears, which she says are of her own doing with great amounts of hair spray and gel. She has baby blue eyes that are partially obscured by her bangs. She wears a pink and white striped, long-sleeved shirt on which the sleeves flare out a bit at the wrists. She also wears jeans that are faded white and ripped at the knees. She wears black leather boots that go half way up her shins.
Personality: Nymphadora is rather playful, friendly, lively and happy-go-lucky, at least, on the outside. Really, though, she's always mourning Vernon whom she assumes is dead because they were the best of friends, always hanging out and playing together when they could until that fateful day of the fire. This is until they, by complete chance, reunite and they discover siblingship. She will cry when alone in private, wishing to see him again. She is often seen gazing off absent-mindedly, reminiscing on her time with Vernon.
Bio: Nymphadora is Vernon Blazena's sister whom he, along with everybody else, thought to be dead after the fire, when actually she escaped before Vernon and left to alert someone. However, Vernon did not see her when she came back, nor did she see him. Authorities thought that this was the work of a mass murderer on the loose, whom they had been after for a while. However, it was just the lonely and timid Tepig whom is named Razor, but, it was commanded but released by the murderer after he found out not everyone inside was killed. So they sent Nymphadora to Furoh, changing her name as part of a witness protection program. Her name before was Katie Saterdal.
On her fifth birthday, she got her Skitty, Flare. She had had a Skitty plush before the birthday, which she still has and carries, that she absolutely loved and she would always carry it everywhere with her. Stella the Purrloin was caught just a few days before the fire. Nymphadora was playing with Flare and Vernon when a Purrloin attacked Vernon. She happened to have had a Pokeball with which she caught it with after having Flare weaken it. Copycat the Ditto was given to Nymphadora upon arrival in Furoh to protect her, seeing as they tried to take away her Pokemon. However, she snatched them back when they weren't looking and stashed them. She was then sent to Aridana to live life as Nymphadora Ubero. Now that they've found out, they are trying to take them back, looking and waiting for any sign of whether she's still in Aridana or not, sending opperatives every other day.
There, she discovered the wonders of contests and co-ordinating and decided to become a Co-ordinator, as been her ambition since. And she did get lucky one day and found a TM for Rain Dance, which she immediately gave to Stella for appeal in contests. She would start with Rain Dance then go to using Pay Day, which was inherited from her father of a Persian, straight up right after the rain started. And she would keep hitting them all back up with scratch until either the rain stopped, or she let too many drop, which meant only one was left.
Starting Pokemon:
Flare (Skitty, Female, Lv. 4)
Fake Out, Growl, Tail Whip, Tackle, Foresight
Wonder Skin
Stella (Purrloin, Female, Lv. 4)
Scratch, Growl, Rain Dance, Pay Day*

Copycat (Ditto, Genderless, Lv. 4)

Limber
Items: Pokeball x3, Diary, Pencil, Pencil Sharpener, Pen, Pokedex, Pokenav, Swimsuit, Umbrella, Old Skitty Plush
Other Notes: I would like for her to become my second character once I meet the requirements for a second character.
Let's start with Technicalities:
Normally, Pay Day wouldn't be learned until Level 30, by Meowth. However, since it's such a weak move, we'll allow it at the onset.
The drawback being that Rain Dance will not be usable until Level 18, which is the earliest a Non-legendary learns the move (Poliwag).
Please, feel free to contest this decision.
No, for the Profile itself:
Personality: I've got...Friendly, Lively, Happy-Go Lucky and playful. The others are not so much personality, as they are activities to which she devotes herself. Training, for a Trainer or Coordinator, is usually a given. Wanting to be a Pokemon Coordinator is not really a personality trait. Lastly, having a crush on someone isn't personality. (If you still wish to include this, perhaps a reason or two as to why she fancies him would be in order.) In any case, I'd like to see this section expanded. Friendly, Lively, Playful and Happy-Go Lucky really fit into one corner of her personality, and it leaves her rather two dimensional at the outset.
Often times, when I'm stuck on a personality, I refer to a zodiac sign for ideas.
The last part of her 'personality' are her pokemon, and how they're used, and that's not personality at all.
Biography: She received Flare as a present, and caught Stella and Copycat; where did she find those two particular pokemon in such an arid area, like a desert? It seems really out of place for those pokemon to be there, so a little more detail in how she found them would be nice.
The extent of her childhood is, rather limited, but did she go to school? Where did she spend most of her time, in Aridana? Did she take any fun trips around Furoh with her parents? What made her want to become a coordinator? The latter half of your biography is spelling out Kat's battle style, rather than giving her an actual biography.
Also, considering the restrictions based on Rain Dance and Pay Day, you may want to change that section just a little bit.
So, if you don't mind, a little doctoring is in order before this can be approved. It's a nice start, but you just need some more detail.
Yes, I will contest the Rain Dance restriction, if you don't mind. The lowest level any non-legendary learns Rain Dance is at Lv. 1, which is Bronzong, according to Serebii.
Ah yes, I know that Bronzong can learn Rain Dance at Level 1. However, in order for it to be a Bronzong, it needs to be level 33. Bronzor, the non-evolved form cannot, and does not evolve until Level 33. So Serebii says Level 1, it's really at Level 33 at the earliest, unless you catch a Wild Bronzong at Level 1, which is an impossibility.
HOWEVER, I do stand corrected, as Finneon can learn the move at Level 13.
So my offer is Level 13.
Ok. I won't have her use it in battles until that level, just for appeal. And the profile is a heck of a lot different, now. Whatcha think?
I have some new questions:
If Vernon was sent to live with his Aunt by the authorities, who were most likely in touch with the authorities who sent Nymphadora away under the witness protection program...how did they not know that both Vernon and Nymphadora survived? How did they not reunite them earlier?
The fire is the central traumatic accident, but how did they both come out of the same event without seeing each other.
How did they know that Razor, the Tepig adopted by Vernon, was the one that started the fire? According to Vernon's biography, Razor apologized to Vernon, and then the two were magically off to their aunts. I'm not sure how this story gels together, as there are too many plot holes there.
Why did the murderer release the Tepig? Not everyone was killed due to the fire, so why didn't he aim to kill Vernon and Nymphadora too? Why was he killing people to begin with?
"Copycat the Ditto was given to Nymphadora upon arrival in Furoh to protect her, seeing as they tried to take away her pokemon."
Who is "They?" And why are they trying to steal Nymphadora's pokemon? Who gave Nymphadora the ditto, and why would they give a Ditto for protection? What operatives are after her, and why has she stayed in Aridana if she knows they're after her?
Why, if she was on the run, would she choose to be a coordinator, knowing full well that they're televised events, thus allowing her to be tracked easier by the aforementioned operatives?
Lastly: As far as I know, partner characters cannot become Second Characters, because the application would have to go all over again. For instance, let's say Kat's pokemon were all at, say, Level 14 by the time you applied for a second character. You'd have to go back, re-choose starting pokemon, and revert them back to a level that fits within the criteria. If you want a second character, apply with a second character. If you want a partner, apply for a partner.
The personality and appearance sections are great. I think the bio is definitely what needs the most work, as it seems rather slap-dash.
J'approve.

Name: Daniel Maceachthighearna
Age: 15
Hometown: Diglett Village, Johto
Appearance: Of average height for his age but skinny and lacking the obvious muscle tone that you would expect from a boy his age who lived on a ranch, Daniel has straight brown hair that hangs loosely down to his jawline. His skin is tanned from days spent out in the sunlight, and his eyes are the color of dark green pine needles. Daniel wears brown jeans and white, button-up, long-sleeved shirt. He often also wears a brown miltank rough-leather jacket over his shirt, which has many pockets in it usually filled with all manner of trinkets and the pokeballs he carries with him. Daniel's shoes are a pair of steel-toed brown boots fit for working in a barn with. On more than one occasion, they have saved him from having his toes crushed.
Daniel has a brown cowboy hat that is either sitting on his head or fallen back between his shoulderblades and held steady only by the leather cord that hangs from the rim and ties around his neck. The hat has a dark brown band made up of three thin strips of leather braided together and knotted into a circle around the hat. Clipped to the band is a gold-painted five-point star that looks like a sheriff's badge from the distance. Up close, it is clear to see that there is an image engraved on the star - that of a pale rapidash with a glowing silver mane, and a large "M" branded into its flank.
Personality: There is one thing that becomes readily apparent upon spending at least ten minutes in the company of Daniel: he is completely incompetent when it comes to ponyta riding. Or battling. Or farming. Or anything that, as a farmboy, he should readily know. Not only that, but Daniel seems to get very defensive whenever somebody mentions anything about the inconsistencies therein, or asks about his home, or if he needs help with anything. It's almost like he's hiding something.
Daniel is a lot more shy than he lets on, but he hides it behind a tough-boy-I-don't-need-anybody exterior that tends not to fool those who actually pay attention. Despite his fifteen years, he is still very much a child, and sometimes he resents this fact. The world he's found himself in scares Daniel more than it thrills him, and a lot of the time, he lies awake and night and wishes that he was home. More than frightened or lonely or defensive, however, Daniel is stubborn, and often reckless. He's made the decision to come to Furoh and he intends to go through with his plans, regardless of anything else, no matter who tries to stop him. Even so, a little help along the way wouldn't be adverse.
Biography: Daniel was born in Diglett Village and has lived there his whole life. His family owns a ponyta ranch and a farm, where they grow crops. When he was young, Daniel dreamed of growing up to learn to ride his very own, promised ponyta, like any expert, and enter rodeos, and learn to run the ranch, and be a regular cowboy, like all of the movies he would watch. And when he was young, his dream was accepted as the proper hopes for a boy born on a ranch, and no doubt what would be happening in the future.
And then the future came, and it wasn't what he'd dreamed of.
Born to James and Irene Maceachthighearna, Daniel was the younger of two siblings. His brother, Marcus, was seven years older than he was. Marcus had an affinity for dogs and was already helping run and ranch and breeding dog pokemon when Daniel was old enough to realize that he wanted to be a cowboy one day. When he was seven, and his brother fourteen, there was an accident. Marcus had been breeding his manectric, Clover, with a darumaka, a fire-type pokemon, and the bitch was having her litter one early morning. Clover had given birth to a litter of five healthy pups some months prior, her mate a male manectric named Ditch. It was while Marcus was keeping a watch over Clover that Ditch, furious that his previous mate was giving birth to some other creature's pups, attacked, trying to kill the newly-birthed pups. Marcus got between them, and in the ensuing battle, four of the six puppies were killed, and Marcus was so badly injured, he was left in a wheelchair.
Daniel's mother took Marcus' injury especially badly, and she forbid Daniel from joining the farm as a rancher. He wasn't allowed to clean the stalls or be around the horses, raise dogs, herd mareep, or anything. He was sent to school, and when he was home, he was forced to find something else to do, because he wasn't allowed near the pokemon, and he certainly wasn't allowed to have one of his own.
His father got older over the years, and though there weren't many of them, without Marcus or Daniel to help him on the ranch, he was forced to hire ranch hands, and they became more and more expensive as time went on. When the possibility of a surgery came up to fix Marcus' injuries and give him the chance to walk again, it was taken, but the surgery was expensive, and it left the Maceachthighearna family hurting for money and unable to pay their employees. They lost their ranch hands, and then the notice came that if they didn't work up the money to pay the mortgage, they would lose their farm, their pokemon, and everything.
Daniel had been holding onto that dream of being a cowboy rancher, sure that he would be allowed when the surgery fixed his brother's legs. But when the surgery didn't work and Marcus was left still wheelchair-bound, Daniel finally admitted to himself that his dream wasn't coming true. But even though he might never be able to work the ranch, he still loved it, and he didn't want to lose it. One night, while everyone was sleeping, Daniel slipped out of the house and into the stables. He found the pokeballs for Wildfire, the youngest of the work horses on the ranch, and Bolt, one of the two surviving pups from Clover's litter, and recalled them. Taking what money he had saved up from his allowance, Daniel took the two pokemon and bought a ticket on a ship to Furoh, determined to find something in the new region that he could bring back to save his family's farm.
Class: Cowboy
Starting Pokemon:
Approved, as are moves.
(Partner of Aaron Zephyr)
Name: Jayne Sparkle
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Trainer Class: Unclear
Hometown: Olivine City, Johto
Appearance:
Approved, but this means that in order to keep their current level average the same as Aaron's, Flaafy must be Level 15, and Shieldon, Level 5. If this is acceptable to you, then you're approved for Ms. Sparkle.
Scott's Ranger Rival/Ally!
For Nikila, if I can only have one egg move, I'd rather keep Flame Burst.
_______________________
Name- Amber "Wolf" Harrison
Age- 15
Hometown- Baccate Town
Appearance- Similar to Scott, Amber is quite tall and quite thin, and she also has icy blue eyes, although they are slightly darker than Scott's ice-blue eyes. Her hair is long, reaching past her shoulders, and is a very light brown color, although not quite blonde. Most guys would probably consider her to be very pretty.
Also similar to Scott, she usually wears shorts and a t-shirt. However, instead of Scott's normal choice of gym shorts or sometimes cargo shorts, she usually wears denim shorts. On top of her shirt is a standard light reddish-brown Ranger vest.
She has no scars or other distinguishing features.
Personality- Amber is hugely jealous of Scott, in particular of his Pokemon team of a cute Vulpix and a pair of cute Eevee. While around him, she can often appear to be slightly protective of the cute little foxes he owns.
Otherwise, however, she comes across to others as a very quiet and reserved person. She can get somewhat emotional at times, especially when she finds an injured Pokemon. She is very passive, prefering to react and counter an opponent in battle rather than make attacks of her own. She's also not the best at making friends, as she just doesn't talk to other people very much, although she is a great listener.
She is also very protective of her hair, and will not tolerate anything that threatens to mess it up. Cutting her hair during a battle, whether intentional or accidental, is just short of a death sentence for whoever made the attack. Suggesting to her that she should date Scott is also asking for her to attack you.
She bites when she gets mad.
Biography- Amber lived for almost her entire life in Baccate Town, going to school there and working for one of the many florists there after her schooling. Her formal education is merely at high school level.
She hails from a family of Pokemon Rangers, so as a teen she enrolled at the Ranger School in Furoh. Once there she was assigned to a three-person team of cadets, which included Scott Carson and a guy named Tyler.
As the three trained and learned to become Rangers, one of the Ranger Mentors (who was a big video game fan) gave the trio a nickname due to how each of them used a specific kind of Pokemon- Amber, who used a pair of wolf pups, became known as "Wolf", while Scott was "Fox" due to his use of three foxes and Tyler was "Falco" due to his preference to use birds. As a team, the three cadets were jokingly nicknamed "Team Star Fox" in reference to the Star Fox games. Surprisingly, the nicknames stuck. "Falco" was soon transferred to Hoenn right after completion of basic training, but "Fox" and "Wolf" remained in Furoh.
Since then, Amber has had a relatively bland lifestyle of patrols. As a result, she's itching for a real fight, especially one where she can provide support to her teammate. However, much to her dislike, she and Scott have been mostly seperate so she can't watch his two little Eevees grow up or spoil his Vulpix with chocolate.
Of her two Wolf Pokemon, Electrike was given to her by her parents as a present for enrolling in Ranger School, and Absol was caught during basic training. Before being given Electrike, she had already known him, as his parents were owned by Amber's father.
Class- Ranger-in-training
Starting Pokemon-
Nikila, female , level 10- Nikila has acquired most of the same personality traits as her trainer- quiet and reserved, and she doesn't make friends very easily. However, she is very protective of those few friends that she does have. Amber's family has been a set of Rangers in Furoh spanning generations, and the vast majority have been accompanied by an Electrike/Manetric of the same family- as a result, Nikila is blessed with two very powerful egg moves, Shock Wave and Flame Burst. However, due to the high level of these attacks compared to her own skill, Nikila's two egg moves are not yet capable of full damage or range and she can't use them in quick succession. Her mother and father are both high-level Manetric owned by Amber's father, and they have a variety of egg moves between the two of them, including Shock Wave, the three Elemental Fang attacks, Crunch, Swift, and Flame Burst. Her ability is Static, as was the abilities of both her parents.
Moves- Tackle, Thunder Wave, Leer, Shock Wave*, Flame Burst*
*Egg moves, only capable of about 2/3 normal damage and half normal range.
Luna, female , level 5- Luna's personality can be summed up well with one word- neutral. She is mildly aggressive and mildly defensive at the same time, to the point of where the two sides almost cancel out. Luna is not yet full-grown, and as a result is about half the size of most other Absol. She has no egg moves, and her ability is Pressure.
Moves- Perish Song, Me First, Razor Wind, Detect, Taunt, Scratch, Feint, Leer
Starting Items-
Unlike Scott, her family is at the lower end of the middle class, so she doesn't have the funds to buy things like Scott does. As a result, apart from standard-issue Ranger items like Oran Berries, a small bag, and a radio, she has no items of value. Both of her Pokemon reside in regular Pokeballs.
