Scizor
Nature: Adamant Item: Occa Berry Ability: Technician EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Attack/ 252 Defense Moves: Bullet Punch Bug Bite Swords Dance Superpower Bug Bite (60) and Bullet Punch (40) get the Technician Boost, making Bug Bite stronger than X-Scissors. (90>80) Swords Dance performs offense boost, and Superpower covers a few type sets Scizor cannot handle. Occa Berry gives him a second chance against Fire, if he is lucky. He is in Pokemon Black, but he's from Heartgold. Notes: I can't use Life Orb on Scizor, since it belongs to someone else in his team. -------------------- |

Notes: I can't use Life Orb on Scizor, since it belongs to someone else in his team. in that case i would recommend either leftovers or a lum berry. i might also think about replacing superpower or swords dance with roost. superpower is quite tricky because if you're fighting a special attacker and don't ohko it then u got some problems.. and u still have some problems with pokemon like heatran that can easily get rid of this scizor. as seeing u gave him defense instead of speed it is better to replace superpower with roost and maybe replace swordsdance with pursuit -------------------- |

Hold item: right now none Ability: Hyper Cutter Careful nature (not sure about the Evs...) Moves: -Acrobatics -Earthquake -Night Slash -X-Scissors uhhh i know right away this should be better somewhat... But anyways, Acrobatics is good when he isn't holding an item, Earthquake is good as long as i'm not using it in double or triple battles, and Night Slash has a good critical hit. I sort of need a move to tackle water types, so i'm thinking Thunder Fang perhaps instead of X-Scissors. Any other suggestions would be good. -------------------- well, as long as its not grape flavored, its allowed....

Chandelure @ (not sure yet xP)
Flash Fire Rash 252 Sp.Atk/150 Sp.Def/108 Speed -Will-O-Wisp -Psychic -Shadow Ball -Flamethrower Will-O-Wisp to annoy them at the beginning, Shadow Ball and Flamethrower for STAB and Psychic for coverage. I gave it 252 Special Attack EVs to completely max out it's Special Attack (Chandelure has highest non-legend Special Attack, and Rash raises it). The 150 Special Defence EVs are to balance out it's nature. The 108 Speed is to make it attack first which is useful. -------------------- Credits (click to show ) |

To avoid having to make a whole thread about a single Pokemon I'm curious about, I decided to post it here instead.
The Pokemon is in Pokemon White, and I don't have any access to Gen. IV moves that weren't transferred over from D/P/Pt./HG/SS (namely, Dark Pulse, in this Pokemon's case), as well as most non-Unova Pokemon. I have not trained it to Level 100 yet, but I'm working on it right now. I need to reset the EV's soon as well, as it will be used in competitive play soon (as soon as I can get myself a second DS for trading purposes). Hydreigon @None (yet) -Leftovers or Life Orb?- Serious Nature | Lv. 69 Stats (not EVs)- HP: 219 | Attack: 213 | Defense: 159 | Special Attack: 187 | Special Defense: 149 | Speed: 169 -Flamethrower -Crunch -Dragon Pulse -Work Up Flamethrower for Ice types and coverage against bug types, Crunch for STAB (and I don't have access to Dark Pulse, as well as Seviper, which is about the only Pokemon capable of learning Dark Pulse in Gen. IV that is compatible with Hydreigon), Dragon Pulse for another STAB, and Work Up is just a placeholder. I'm thinking of doing either Acrobatics for Fighting types, Thunder Wave for annoying, or Surf for diversity (and for Heatran, who would otherwise just wall this moveset). I pretty much need a suggestion for the fourth move. ^^; -------------------- |

Chandelure @ (not sure yet xP) Flash Fire Rash 252 Sp.Atk/150 Sp.Def/108 Speed -Will-O-Wisp -Psychic -Shadow Ball -Flamethrower Will-O-Wisp to annoy them at the beginning, Shadow Ball and Flamethrower for STAB and Psychic for coverage. I gave it 252 Special Attack EVs to completely max out it's Special Attack (Chandelure has highest non-legend Special Attack, and Rash raises it). The 150 Special Defence EVs are to balance out it's nature. The 108 Speed is to make it attack first which is useful. Is this being used for competitive at all? I can understand your reasoning for wanting to balance out the SDef drop from the Rash nature, but it'll be more worth your while to get a Modest one (if at all possible) With Chandelure's immense power, you could consider Fire Blast, as you already have a reliable STAB in Shadow Ball. 108 EVs... that puts him at 223, assuming perfect IVs on a neutral nature, which outruns Adamant Tyranitar. I guess if you're attempting to burn it and escape, that's a viable option, but I'd rather just invest fully in bulk, as Chandelure has no business staying in against a Tyranitar. They'll get pulverised pretty much regardless, unless you have Hidden Power Fighting? The simple 252 SAtk | 248 HP | 8 Def would probably be what works best here, unless you feel you really need to outrun something. If that's the case, you might wanna consider a Scarf set instead: Timid/Modest Chandelure @ Choice Scarf 252 Spd | 252 SAtk | 4 Def Overheat/Fire Blast Shadow Ball Energy Ball Psychic/Hidden Power Ice/Fighting/Ground Basically, this set's main intent is to hit and run. Get in, melt something with Overheat, and escape before getting nommed. Should help you out a lot. torchie: Hydreigon really likes U-Turn for an easy escape, and as a means of scouting. If you do plan on using U-Turn, consider Draco Meteor, as it complements U-Turn very well. Deal an absurd amount of damage with Draco Meteor, then U-Turn out to keep the momentum on your side and switch to an appropriate counter. Max out the Speed, have a heavy SAtk investment, and maybe a few in Attack to beef U-Turn up just slightly. Here's my favourite set: Naive/Hasty Hydreigon @ Life Orb/Yache Berry 252 Spd | 200 SAtk | 56 Attack Draco Meteor Fire Blast Dark Pulse/Crunch U-Turn Has an answer for basically every pokemon short of a lucky Weavile. U-Turn out against what you can't handle. and maim everything you can with the listed moves. Heatran's also a bugger, but you can switch out the Dark move for Surf, Focus Blast or Earth Power to deal with him if you want. Crunch is mainly listed because a lot of Psychic types are specially bulky and physically frail (examples: Grumpig, Beheeyem), which means Crunch will hit them harder. Other than that, though, Dark Pulse will be better received. Hope this helps. The GTS isn't too used to competitive play, huh? -------------------- |

This is my favorite.
Porygon2(shiny if it matters) Lv: 100 (Held item: Eviolite) Ability: Download Nature: Calm Moveset: Blizzard Tri-Attack Thundershock Magic Coat This is my scout, because he has a defense of 279 and an attack of 176. I normally start out with Tri - Attack for a chance of a status effect, and Magic coat for when i get a Jigglypuff or gloom against me.(Of course it sucks when i run into a pokemon like Espeon or Audino, who have Synchronize). He is very versatile(IMO) in terms of attack types, boasting Normal, Ice, Electric, and Psychic. How do you think i'm doing? You often run into people who don't care much for held items, and you know why that's good. -------------------- |

Mismagmius @ Spooky Plate
Ability - Levitate Nature - Lax 214HP/206 SP.ATTK/185 SP.DEF Moves: Shadow Ball Dark Pulse Perish Song Mean Look She's more or less my sweeper with my Typholson. Shadow Ball is her main move, Dark Pulse is used against types Ghost doesn't work on, Perish Song is for owning the enemy's last pokemon, and Mean Look is for making sure the enemy doesn't escape, which helps against those pesky roaming legendaries. I use her on my Soul Silver, so I've got a pretty wide range of items to use. Typholson @ Charcoal Ability - Blaze Nature - Naive 250HP/224 SP.ATTK/152 SP.DEF Moves: Flamethrower Lava plume Eruption Sunny Day My Typholson has been with me from the beginning of the game, and she is Female. I use her against those pesky Grass, Bug, and Ice types that my Mismagmius can't beat. Flamethrower is her signature move for doing a small amount of damage, while Lava Plume is for Double Battles. Eruption is for the Elite Four and for over-killing her opponents with a weakness to Fire, and Sunny Day is for powering-up all her moves. Lugia @ Sky Plate Ability - Pressure Nature - Quiet 224HP/172 SP.ATTK/224 SP.DEF Moves: Fly Aeroblast Ancient Power Strength My Lugia is my future waller with my Vaporeon. That's why his Sp. Defence is so high. Fly and Strength are both good on and off the field. Ancient Power is for getting rid of his weaknessess, and for raising his stats sometimes. Aeroblast is just plain-out powerful, especially on Bug Types. Vaporeon @ Sea Incense Ability - Water Absorb Nature - Naughty 244HP/144 SP.ATTK/117 SP.DEF Moves: Surf Waterfall Ice Beam Blizzard I like to think of my Vaporeon as part Ice sometimes, so half of his moves are Ice, half are Water. Surf is jst an amazing move, especially when battling double battles. Ice Beam is for the Grass Types that he is unable to beat with Surf alone, and Blizzard is just the same, only more powerful. Waterfall isn't a move I use, it's just for going up waterfalls. that's it, my other two are both grass types, and one of them isn't even supposed to be on this game, but on my platinum. NOTE all of these pokemon are on Soul Silver. -------------------- |
