The official ratio hasn't been released, but based on observations of people's shiny ratios, it's speculated to be somewhere around 1/300ish. --------------------  |

I hate it how these kinds of explorations are all like 'Have a Rock type pokemon in your party' and then 'Have a Victreebell in your party' . And it has to be achieved BEFORE the exploration quest...well I guess it's a good way because some people have like level 100's of every pokemon in their boxes...

You could never use ones you currently own in the first place. People used to get everything just after they started the Exploration, meaning they could breeze through Pokémon tasks as if they were a piece of cake. The new rule was put in so you have to do it how Explorations were originally supposed to be done, step by step, not all at once  Regarding the second part, about the Pokémon, it's not really that difficult to find them nowadays. There's usually plenty of eggs, but if you can't wait there's the Safari Zone. Clicking is much easier now than about half a year ago (give or take a month or two) so it shouldn't that difficult to level up a Pokémon
