Epics

Hoo boy it's been a while since I posted on the forums

Currently I have a Samsung laptop. I'm not sure what model or whatnot, all I know is that after nearly five years it still runs like it's brand new. Problem is, this is the fourth/fifth time I've had to replace the charger for one thing not working correctly, and I've been thinking that it's probably time I get a new one. Problem is, I have no idea what to look for.

I'm not looking for something soooper fancy, I'm not going to run a triple-A game in HD/VR/4k graphics, just something that runs games pretty well, is good quality, and is reasonably priced. Since I don't know poop about specs, I was hoping to turn to the forums to see what I should be looking for/what to avoid, good brands, etc. Something aesthetically pleasing to look at (and preferably not a number pad to the right, due to the fact that I have really small hands and large keyboards give me carpal tunnel (which I avoid by resting my hands next to the mouse pad))

I do know that my current laptop has an AMD A10-4655 APU with Radeon ™ HD graphics processor, it's Windows 10, 8.00 GB of ram, I got this in January 2013 for like 600-800 bucks from Best Buy (the bottom says it was manufactured Oct. 2012) and it can run most games pretty well (I've tried to run the new Doom on low settings which doesn't run at all)

Edit 1: I should probably elaborate on what I'm looking for in terms of usability: I usually use it for GPX+, roleplay, sometimes web browsing, Roll20, and mostly indie games on Steam (though my friend does want me to play Doom and Payday 2 with him). So nothing too heavy, but heavy would be good in the rare occasions I play something that requires more
