I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you're talking about the Greenwich meridian, but there's another important one about 100m east of that one, if you're in Greenwich ('cept I'm only allowed one answer). Speaking of trivia, the Greenwich one's not actually THE prime meridian, not these days.

@p0key: You can only answer one question, so I'll take your answer for #1 as your answer. That's half-right, but I'll count it. You get the new starters from your "friend" (rival) and the Professor gives you the Kanto starter. Appealing to nostalgia much?
