Appearance: On top of his head Liam has shaggy, dirty blonde hair. The West man has a chiseled jaw, along with many other attractive facial features, that include his thin pair of lips, his honey-colored eyes, which anyone can melt in, and his cute button nose. Liam also has an earring on his left ear, which can’t really be seen due to his hair covering it.

With already being near his prime, Liam has grown to what he's going to look like for the rest of his life. He stands tall at more or less six feet exactly, with a physique that is well-built, well-tanned, and overall made of a decent amount of muscle.

Liam’s outfits vary from situation to situation. He can usually be seen in a gray sweater with a white undershirt, and a pair of khakis, with matching white shoes. If not in regular clothes, Liam can be seen in just a pair of shorts, basically any kind either.

Personality: Liam is your basic nice guy. He is kind and friendly to just about everyone, especially kids. Extremely fatherly and warming, because he has two of his own, Liam has learned to be that giant, friendly bear everyone loves. At times Liam can be very overprotective; he tries his best, though, to allow people to learn on their own.
Not only is he physically strong, but mentally too. He holds his head up high and knows his own limits which he uses to his own advantage. He has a broad knowledge base due to his collegiate schooling and liking of reading. His brain is an important asset, considering he puts himself in many dangerous situations.

A closet-nerd, Liam has quite the variety of quirks. He likes reading and shiny things. His liking of sparkling objects had led him to many bad situations, it doesn’t help that his reading often includes these fantastic objects. Being a nerd didn’t help him at all during his childhood, that is why he began working out and getting some muscle.

Liam is a great charmer and with the help of his handsome looks and, basically, dashing personality, he can get through just about anything if he put his full effort into it. If you ever need some muscle and a man with a cool head on his shoulders, Liam is your guy. The brave and loving man is always up to help anyone in need, if he isn’t already on his own schedule.

There is a secret side to Liam that no one really knows about too. Liam is a gentleman thief; he’s charming because he has to be in order to get things his way. It did help that he used to be self-conscious as a child and wanted to better his looks and confidence, because now he uses that to his advantage. No one, not even his children or ex-wife knows about his secret life, and that’s how he intends to keep it.

Biography: Born to Fionn and Clara West, Liam was the only child. He was raised with love and was educated early. His family was wealthy enough to live their life without scarcity. Liam learned a lot as a child, ranging from business to Pokemon. His father was a busy man, himself being a business man for a corporation in Castelia City where Liam lived for most of his life.

Liam was a tiny, thin child who wore big glasses and was often the butt of all jokes. He didn’t mind it then as much, but as he got older the words began hurting more and he wanted to change it somehow. He never told his parents how he felt though, because he didn’t want his father knowing. He knew that his father loved him, even though he wasn’t big and strong like him, but he didn’t want to show any sign of weakness.

Liam and his family often went on vacations to cities outside of the Unova region too. Goldenrod City was an often vacation spot. As his father did business, he and his mother were able to explore the wondrous city, and Liam even got to meet the different personalities at the Radio Tower. They often went shopping whenever they vacationed too; Liam always had sticky hands for sparkling things. At least once every time they went out for something, Liam would return home with something shiny and new in his pocket. It was a habit and now a hobby of his, collecting shiny, sparkly things.

As a teenager, Liam was sent off to a boarding school in Johto. During his time in away from home, Liam reinvented himself. He trained not only his mind, but his body too. He lifted weights and ran. He did everything he could to change his looks. The only thing he couldn’t really change was his eyes. But somehow as he became more confident he stopped wearing his glasses because his sight became a little better. The only thing he ever really needed his glasses for was for reading, and that hobby changed into an ‘at home’ only hobby. Once he graduated he went straight to college in the Orange Islands, being taught by many different professors there.

As he lived in the Orange Islands, he swam every day, which now became a hobby, one that he didn’t have to hide. His reading was still on the down low, as was his quirk for sparkles. His urge to have the shiny objects though were getting easier to control as different urges started to stir up.

During his years at college, he met a woman by the name of Alexandra Noelle. She became the center of his world as the two began dating. He did everything he could to make her happy, and the two eventually married at the age of twenty. Liam and Alex had only been dating for a year, but the two decided on marrying because Alex was now pregnant. This shocked both his and her parents, and the two transferred back to a college in Castelia City to be closer to Liam’s family and to finish off their schooling.

Liam and Alex were given the news that they were expecting twins, two girls. The twins were born soon after they returned to Castelia, with both families there fully supporting the new parents. Arden Elizabeth West and Evangelia “Lia” Willa West were born which changed the lives of everyone around them.

In the first year the new parents were having troubles balancing their new life of raising their children, work, school, and their own relationship. The two tried their best in keeping their spark alive, but it didn’t last. As the two graduated college, they found themselves further apart than ever. Alex was tired of the life she had, she still loved Liam, but she couldn’t take it anymore. After their graduation, the two separated, Alex leaving with the twins back to her home in Petropolis in the Furoh region.

Liam was devastated after they left. He felt as if his whole world had been ripped apart from him. Liam had become quite distant with his own family then. He moved away to Nimbasa City, where he let loose his urges of the shiny things. He slumped into a lowly thief for the first year of being alone, stealing things from the theatre to the priceless prizes of the athletes at the stadiums. His years hiding his strange habit had made him extremely slick and sly with his hands. It wasn’t until one fateful night that he stole from the wrong man.

His name was Regan; he was a deep-voiced man with graying blonde hair. Liam tried stealing a jewel on his cane which turned out to be the stupidest and smartest mistake of his life. Regan was a professional thief, a man of high standards and tastes. He retired young as he had made enough money to live peacefully. When Liam tried stealing from him, Regan showed the broken man the light, by knocking some sense into him. Sure Liam was beat up, but then Regan taught him and spoke to him about life. He told him the stories of his adventures. Of how he used to be like Liam, how he lost his family because he couldn’t hold himself up.

“Don’t give up on yourself. You’ll regret missing out on the only thing worth living for in your life.”

Regan allowed Liam to stay with him for some time, until he could get back up onto his own two feet. He stayed with his new friend for a year until he felt right enough to move on. Liam moved to Furoh, to Petropolis, so he could be near his two daughters. He hadn’t seen them for a few years, and they had grown so much. With his degree in business he found a company job, one that was easy to maintain so he could still keep up with his daughters.

His habit of taking things was now under his control once again, thanks to Regan. It was easier to handle and even if he felt a little depression coming on all he had to do now was think of his daughters and what they meant to him. He rebuilt some of his relationship with Alex which made seeing his daughters easier. With his new job and sticky fingers under control he had finally rebuilt his life.

Years later and Liam had bought a house, had joint-custody over his children, and had enough money in his bank to give his daughters whatever they wanted. He also had a little extra cash from odd jobs he did on the side.

Having a strong family bond and a decent job isn't the only thing that was going for Liam though. During his time in Furoh, he had came to know and befriend two Pokemon, a Treecko and an Aron.

His Treecko had been rummaging through his garbage for days until Liam decided to give him some food. It wasn't for a few weeks, that the Treecko finally became a little more friendly with Liam. Over the course of a year, the two became well acquainted and had found a common interest, shiny things. The two were an instant match, pairing off with one another and Liam had gotten his first Pokemon.

The Aron, Liam came to know as Ambrose, was found on one of his jobs. He had to acquire a certain jewel from deep within a cave, and came across a wild Aron, protecting the jewel. It put up a great fight against Liam's Treecko, who by now was known as Abram, but was soon defeated. Liam, seeing how tough and determined the Pokemon was, decided to capture it. His little band of misfits was now on its way to becoming a full-fledged Pokemon team, maybe worth looking out for.

The two Pokemon had become a part of him, they helped watch over his daughters, and they helped him out on jobs. Liam had two friends that he could now count on in his times of need. His friend, Regan, was right, that if you were to raise Pokemon right, you could always count on them to have your back. With his daughters and Pokemon by his side, Liam's life was looking pretty good.
