Happy Valentine's Day!

Said it in the community thread but I'll say it here too. Thanks to everyone keeping the site running and everything - I've been here 7 and a half years now (longest commitment to a website) and even though we have less people playing than we did 3-4 years ago, it's still fun to be here with all the stuff that goes on!

I'll echo everyone else's sentiments about the site, too. I've been here, must be going on seven years? That's a long time to have that one tab pinned to the far left of my browser. I don't know what I would ever put in its place, to be honest. Thank you to all of the staff, and users, for keeping the site alive and for being the most friendly, inclusive community I know!

How come the dex number is so high though? They're not considered novelties, are they?

I've not been part of it for that long, but I think 3+ is a decent time. I'm a senior now in high school. Time really does fly...

Proud to have been here since day one, and with GTS+ for even longer! This was a great platform before gpx+ and it's been a crazy roller coaster of emotion watching it transform over the last decade. I love all of you guys.

I think they have the same dex number as the originals and count as alternate forms. Those always have weird high numbers.

That moment when you saw 2 mystery eggs (of the same type) in the Shelter but missed them both. I don't know if they're a new egg or I just haven't had them before... but I never saw it or obtained them (obviously) in the past so I have no idea what they were. How I hope I run into them again though. But it has me wondering... are they a part of the anniversary celebration? Hmm.

And then... oh my gosh! You refresh over it a third time and then wait for the slo mo refresh to find it and then... you nab it! Yesss!

I've been a member since April 2009 and so pretty close to the start. And wow! I remember when I joined how professional and well run the site was (even back then). It didn't give the appearance or flare of being a newly created idea; rather, it seemed like one that I had somehow missed and was happy to have stumbled upon. I can't recall how I found it but I am so glad that I had.

I did take a hiatus for a while (when I thought "farming" was more fun then hunting Pokemon.... WHAT WAS!!!! I thinking?!?!?), but since my return I haven't really looked back. When I fall silent it isn't for other online games but because life had one of those speed bump interrupting moments.

Thank you, GPX+, for being here and being a great site to be a part of. I know that there are *ah'hem* other *cough* *cough* not really Pokemon sites to choose from... but those are all wannabes in my opinion. this site!

Is there any way this can be extended? I work later this afternoon and I'm not even halfway to 15,000. By the time I get back home I'll have maybe an hour--if that--to finish the rest. The lag is just killing this for me--I know I can get the interactions easily but the site just will not cooperate.

Definitely been a very busy day on GPX+. A lot of people coming by to play and share in the celebration. It's been a long haul but I now have more than 2k clicks so... yay for that. LOL Was a bit curious. Are the wishes random can anybody clarify? Or do we get a wish list and the choice to chose?

Just curious.

I noticed at least two eggs that I missed that I'd love to have... but don't know what they're of (naturally). So I'm searching the Shelter but want to do more clicks to maybe get a 3rd wish before the day is done. It would be sweet if the wishes could run through tomorrow, as well, but I think it'll just be today. So... settle in and have a drink at hand while you click away.

Don't worry if you can't get fifteen vouchers. Everything they give is breedable, so they're already appearing in the Lab and will be al over the Shelter soon enough.

I really hope this can happen. I'm about to go to bed ready for work again tomorrow. I only managed 6.66k (so 6 vouchers) due to lag.

Really am loving seeing Gen 7 Pokes from it though

Sorry for the lag, everyone. Vouchers will be in the prize shop for the rest of February starting tomorrow, and all the new Pokémon are already in the lab and breedable. There's also another Alolan form that's been added that can't be gotten from the voucher... but that you can easily obtain.

I'll breed my Mimikyu for people who don't have a ghost friend egg now to help out - but I have a question out of pure curiosity. Were these pokemon randomly picked, mods, or ones you like too? (I think you have very good taste in fave alola pokes if it's he latter hee hee)

It's a taste thing, but there are 90 new Pokémon and there are like 30 alternate forms due to the lore of the region - Pokémon of the same species native to other environments are going to evolve differently based on their surroundings and the Pokémon species around them, much like evolution in real life.

It's relatively creative and introducing a tiny sense of realism, especially given some of the lore behind the Alolan forms. Please don't make a generalized statement like this unless you plan to back it up. If you want a soapbox, go to general Pokémon; otherwise keep comments like that outside of announcement threads. I can explain in more detail if you PM me what I mean by that, but your behavior in announcement threads is trolling at best.

Lag was horrendous today. Took nearly an hour for me to be able to get my first voucher and I gave up after that. Did pick up a couple of the new ones from the shelter so far, though, and saving my voucher for the last one I don't find in the shelter or lab! Thanks for all you guys do! Really excited for more of the new generation (Rockruff <3) to be released!

I ended up getting 4 vouchers in about 2 hours. Worked until 9 PM Eastern, and got home at about 9:30 PM, and before THAT, our internet had been down since early on February 13th. But I have been able to get 3 from the Shelter. Just need to decide what to get with my personal vouchers.

So, I guess with the Shop Vouchers, you can get as many as you have points for? And the limit of 15 was just what you could have earned from interactions?

Those vouchers are available to buy? If I knew that, I might have just called it quits at one point due to the lag. It was getting unbearable.
That is nice though, if somebody couldn't get their favorite out of the batch. I look forward to the rest of gen 7 coming, my favorite Rockruff isn't here

Such a nice surprise to see the new Pokemon appearing on the site's anniversary! I tried to be busy yesterday, but between the site lagging, and real-life activities, I only managed to get 8 vouchers.
Luckily as others have said, all these pokemon are normal breedable pokemon, so getting everything will not be too hard. So nice to be able to use a repel in the lab again and one time actually finding a new egg! And a few from the shelter (and, got me a shiny!). Let's see what I can find today!

Wow, you got lucky. With the site lag and being 3 hours behind server I only managed 4 =(
The site went offline so many times, and I got so many errors because of the lag

I'm so glad people are breeding the eggs already, otherwise I'd have no chance at all xD
